Vidhi Kasliwal’s Vazandar scored 11 nominations at a recent Marathi film awards including Best Film and Best Director. If that is not enough, Pipsi, their recent production made waves at the Half Ticket section of MAMI. Not cresting in the waves of success, Vidhi Kasliwal is on to her next presentation, Gachchi. It marks the directorial debut of Nachiket Samant, written by Yogesh Vinayak Joshi, a Nitin Vaidya Productions film, presented by Landmarc Films.Gachchi also sees Abhay Mahajan and Priya Bapat coming together as a pair for the first time. The recent teaser of the film showed glimpses of Priya and Abhay on a Gachchi i.e. a terrace, exchanging an interesting banter. Gachchi with its simplicity has most certainly created curiosity in the cine-goers, as it is all set for a December 22 release. Content surely seems to be the key for Kasliwal’s success!
