ILLOGICAL ENTERTAINER!
It’s yet another predictable fun filled ride about two gangs who are unable to stand each other since their childhood and how they repulse each other even after they grow.

PLUS POINTS
Ajay Devgn wears a dead pan expression while Tabu scores as librarian Anna Mathew but it is Parineeti who fits the part perfectly. Nana Patekar also puts in a brief cameo appearance in the film as himself.

MINUS POINTS
The film stretches credulity, what with its ghosts, spirits and illusionary apparitions. The film however begins to careen out of control by the halfway mark under the weight of too many comic detours to your chagrin. Buffoonery isn’t such a bad idea when delivered in moderation, but when it teeters on the edge of the excessive and seeks its humor from disabilities and speech defects but it crosses the line of decency and ceases to be funny.

THE VERDICT
Though there is nothing by way of novelty in this yarn, the way Rohit Shetty handles the direction of the film aided and abetted by Yunus Sajawal’s screenplay makes it enjoyable albeit at the cost of logic.
