Mushy and Contentless!
It is a sickeningly stereotyped film about how Sejal (Anushka Sharma) loses her engagement ring while her entire family takes off to India. She tells her parents that she will get back to the country only when she finds the ring. Thus begins the journey of a tourist guide Harry alias Harvinder Singh Nehra (Shah Rukh) and a Gujarati girl in ‘need of guidance’, and your trauma.

THE PLUS POINTS:
Jab Harry Met Sejal is predictable to the T like most Bollywood movies are. Harvinder Singh Nehra aka Harry (Shah Rukh Khan) makes a living by tagging along with Indian groups on holiday in Europe and you get to see beautiful locales.Chandan Roy Sanyal ‘s cameo is interesting.

THE MINUS POINTS:
You wonder what on earth prompted Shah Rukh Khan to come forward to produce this film which has absolutely no content. While Shah Rukh Khan sleepwalks through his role with disinterest, Anushka Sharma is one dimensional and fails to create an impact.

THE VERDICT:
The film is miserably mushy. Halfway through this Imtiaz Ali film, you will find yourself wiping your eyes in disbelief, wondering how Imtiaz Ali keeps churning out same films year after year and hopes to get away with it. You sleep but wake up when you are relieved when Shah Rukh plants a kiss on Ansuhka and the film also ends.
