The reason we took a decision to start publishing a magazine which will be devoted to not only films and TV but also jewellery, cookery, lifestyle and everything that catches the fancy of the average reader today is because let’s face facts, the taste of the average reader today, whether young or for that matter old has changed for the better especially because he or she has refined tastes.The idea is not to state that today there is no magazine in the market to cater to the tastes of the different kinds of audiences. Indeed there are quite a few but the need to have a complete magazine with a difference is being acutely felt and the idea behind coming up with a fortnightly that dares to be different stems from this feeling of void expressed to us by some friends in the recent past. Though we are modest, we would not mind asserting that Cine Buster is not just a film magazine but will cater to everyone in the family right from the teenager to the elderly parents and even the tiny little toddlers.

We promise to cover the world of fashion extensively in every issue. Not only that, we will also set out to unravel travel destinations and present interviews with different people in different walks of life, from fashion Czars and celebrity chefs to the housewives, from shooting studio owners to theatre personalities, from jewellers to those who make accessories. We will set out to present the latest in the fashion world and also cover all the Page 3 parties and hightlight all the achievers in society in a big way impartially.

With a senior journalist like Jyothi Venkatesh who has been in the field of film journalism for 45 years as the Editor of the fortnightly, it will be our endeavor to present in every issue not only the current superstars but also the up and coming young and new, bold and beautiful faces in the field of films as well as TV and music, besides the emerging web series but also go on a whirlwind journey to the past to unravel interviews with the veterans taken over 40 years back with the feature Going Down Memory Lane where you can travel back in time machine and read interviews with the likes of Mohammad Rafi, V. Shantaram,O.P. Ralhan, Sivaji Ganeshan, Rajendra Kumar, Ramanand Sagar, Manna Dey, MGR, Gemini Ganesh etc and last but not the least Raj Kapoor, L.V.Prasad, Tarachand Barjatya, besides Rishi Kapoor.
