Rating:*

PREDICTABLE!
The film is just a poor rehash of films like Bruce Almighty, OMG, Yehi Hai Zindagi and Deool Banda (Marathi). Hari (Makrand Anaspure) is a dabbawala, who blames his poverty on Lord Vitthal. Vitthal (Mahesh Manjrekar) makes a distinctly weird appearance sporting a beard, and gives him the choice of a new life. Hari chooses the life of builder Varde (Chavan), first and that of a Home Minister later but soon finds out that it’s not the bed of roses he thought it would be.

PLUS POINTS
It is sad that at a time when Marathi Cinema is on the threshold of innovation and out of the box content, a regressive film like this comes with an outdated theme in the name of loud comedy.

MINUS POINTS
Though Makrand Anaspure is a fine actor and has done both serious and comedy roles, he looks very lost handicapped by the convoluted script and the unending stream of dialogues. The less said about Mahesh Manjrekar, the better as he has been simply wasted in his role.

THE VERDICT
Only Lord Vitthala can save this atrocious film!.
