Written and produced by the in-house creative team, it is choreographed by ace Bollywood choreographer Mudassar Khan and composed by one of the industry’s popular music directors Ryan Victor.
True to Cartoon Network’s promise of inclusivity, creativity, and entertainment, the music video features passionate and fearless generation of kids across age groups who are dancers, sportspersons, professional skateboarders, singers and artists and have the power to change the world. Alongside are also popular homegrown and international Cartoon Network characters from shows such as Ekans – Ek Se Badhkar Snake, Ben 10 and Tom and Jerry, among others. A creative mix of live-action and animation, it is full of enthusiasm and energy, including lyrics that will motivate kids to make an impact in ways big and small.

Talking about his experience of working with kids and the concept, Mudassar Khan, choreographer, said, “I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project as Cartoon Network’s campaign ‘Redraw Your World’ is unique in motivating kids to feel comfortable in their own skin. To make it appealing and stimulating for all kids and families, I used several traditional Indian dance forms along with energetic modern choreography. I hope they enjoy watching it and grooving on the hook step.”

Emphasising on the uniqueness of the concept of the anthem and the campaign, Ryan Victor, music director, said, “I am thrilled to have created a fun and exciting track that appropriately signifies the essence of Cartoon Network’s Redraw Your World campaign which is to inspire kids. We incorporated sounds from everyday items along with various Indian musical instruments to make a peppy and catchy tune.”

The ‘Redraw Your World’ anthem has been launched on linear channels CN and CN HD+ and across social media handles including YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. Cartoon Network has planned high-octane promotional campaign for the music video by way of extensive cross channel & outside network promotions, digital marketing, influencer engagement and PR. To engage with a larger community, the channel has launched an exciting Hook Step Reels Challenge, where fans can upload their videos using #RedrawYourWorld.

Sharing his experience, director Jeff Wilson said, “We had to figure out how to be in the bears’ presence for the longest period of time possible in order to really capture the kind of character moments and the behaviours that we knew could support a film. To do that—especially in those winter months, you need to figure out how to survive out there.”

The filmmakers chose a strategic location to set up camp to capture the bears in their natural best. This called for the creation of a revolutionary, environmentally friendly, self-contained, sledge-mounted mobile camp with a kitchen, lounge area, and sleeping accommodations, among other rooms. “It had its own heat, generated its own water, gave us protection from the bears and allowed members of our team to survive for up to four months,” added Jeff Wilson.

Bringing to light the incredible feat achieved by the Polar Bear team, director Jeff Wilson said, “No one had ever really put themselves in a position to survive for that length of time in that location before. It made a significant difference to what we could achieve and the level of ambition we could have. It took 18 months to plan and build before filming even started.”

The Polar Bear team consisted of an Emmy®- and BAFTA®-winning long-lens cinematographer, an award-winning drone operator and a revolutionary gyro-stabilized camera system & operator and professional Arctic guides to ultimately log 241 days of filming in the field. However, the filming was briefing punctuated by the pandemic that prevented filmmakers from shooting for an entire season. The production team also closely worked with scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute, to learn about the region and bear behaviour.

This animated original will be based on Leander’s life, the challenges and his childhood experiences during his journey to become one of the greatest tennis stars and a global icon. One of the most successful players in tennis history with 8 career Grand Slam doubles titles and 10 career Grand Slam mixed doubles championships, he also holds many a firsts in the world of tennis. The former Doubles world number 1 is an inspiration both on and off the court.

The show will take inspiration from true events in his life and will be created with kids and young teens in mind. This sports adventure will serve to bring out the passion, the sacrifices, the attitude and the heart required to accept wins and losses with grace as personified by Leander throughout his life and career. Green Gold Animation is looking at creating the series in 3D/2D Animation format.

The tennis star has visited the studio’s state of the art facility at Hyderabad for multiple narration sessions and has been involved in the initial phase of visual development. Little Leander will not just focus on Leander Paes’ life story, interesting incidents, turning points but also use his childhood images for referencing and research work. The team will reach out to his family members, close friends and associates as well to put together the background material.
