The much-awaited heist of the year How To Rob A Bank releases in cinemas on 20th November.

Excitement surrounding the year’s most anticipated heist thriller, How to Rob a Bank, continues to escalate as its theatrical debut draws near. The movie promises high-octane suspense, sharp humor, and social media-driven stakes. Adding to the buzz, actor and former stand-up star Pete Davidson has candidly discussed his intense physical and emotional transformation for his role as Vince, a battle-tested military veteran anchoring a crew of tech-savvy bank robbers.

Speaking in an interview, Pete says, “Once I got in the room (with the young actress), I got really choked up. What happens to the character is adjacent to what happened to me with my dad and the age and all that. I’m a comic first, so I never understood when actors would be like, ‘It was very painful’, but it is. It was very tough, and the first time I felt like a real actor because I wasn’t just playing myself.”

The actor further spoke about his intense transformation as he gained 15 pounds of muscle and consumed protein for the role. He shared, “I just think it’s really important for people to know that that’s what I did. When someone says, ‘Whoa, you’re in tremendous shape!’ and an actor goes, ‘Yup! just broccoli, rice and chicken!,’ it’s like, ‘no, dude, you have a vein going from your forehead to your thumb.”

What begins as a string of gutsy, livestreamed bank robberies soon spirals into a chase. As the notorious crew gains fame online for their daring crimes, a veteran FBI agent teams up with a brilliant software engineer to track them down. Refusing to back down, the robbers push the limits of what they’re willing to risk in pursuit of their biggest heist yet.

Directed by David Leitch and written by Mark Biancull, the film brings together an exciting ensemble cast led by Nicholas Hoult, Zoë Kravitz, Anna Sawai, Rhenzy Feliz, Christian Slater as Walton, with Pete Davidson and John C. Reilly.

Obsession mania is sweeping across India! Ever since the uncut, original cut of Curry Barker’s thriller arrived on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar last week, it has created immense chatter online. The Hindi version features Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon voicing the main characters, Bear and Nikki. As fans tune in to stream the movie, lead actor Inde Navarrette opened up about a sweet, personal moment with her brother during a screening, adding to the buzz around the film.

In a recent interview, she revealed that her brother, who doesn’t typically go to the movies, wanted to go watch Obsession with her. “He loves me, but he doesn’t necessarily care about a lot of the stuff that I do,” Inde shared in a recent interview. “So whenever he asked, ‘Hey, can we go to the movies and I can bring my friends and we can all go?’ I was like, ‘What the f*ck is happening right now?'”

Inde shared that he watched the film with her when it was released in theatre. “It wasn’t like a ‘this is my sister.’ It was to go watch something that I had done and his friends were also really excited. So I snuck into the theater, glasses and hood up and I got to stare at my brother and having him be like, ‘That was really cool. I’m really proud of you.’ I was like, ‘Whoa,'” she shared.

Having grossed over half a billion USD globally, including a phenomenal response in India, the uncut, original version of Obsession is now getting much love as it streams on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar.

There has been a lot of buzz about this project due to its ensemble casting. This comic caper is set in 1991, and it is the story of a family that refuses to address the issues that matter the most and what happens when they eventually decide to speak their minds and open up to each other.

Ritesh, who has mastered the art of backing and bringing some meaningful stories to life, is pretty happy to have got the perfect cast for the film. He is also known to connect with his audience by capturing personal emotions between his characters. During media interactions, he also revealed that the subject of this film is quite close to his heart.

Vidya and Saif are reuniting on screen after Parineeta and are thrilled to work with the noted director. Mélanie, on the other hand, also stated that during her first meeting with Batra at the Marrakech Film Festival, she had promised him that they would unite for a project in the future. She immediately agreed to do this film as soon as she heard the story.

The film is produced by Batra’s company Poetic License in partnership with Jio Studios. Good Chaos from the UK and Momento from France are selling the film internationally.

Ritesh made his mark with his first Hindi project, which was the highest-grossing foreign film in North America, Europe and Australia. The film was also nominated for a BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language in 2015.

As her terrifying behavior begins to draw immense danger toward their mutual friends Ian (Cooper Tomlinson) and Sarah (Megan Lawless), Bear comes to a horrifying realization: he hasn’t earned genuine affection, but has instead trapped Nikki inside a mind puppeted by an uncontrollable force. The story cleverly dismantles the myth of the “nice guy,” exposing the toxic selfishness of stripping someone of their emotional agency.

While director Curry Barker excels at crafting an eerie, uncomfortable atmosphere using patient camera work and tense audio design, the narrative stumbles slightly in its final stretch. As the stakes escalate, the logic stretches thin, and the sudden shift toward chaotic violence makes the overall pacing feel somewhat uneven near the end.

What truly elevates the viewing experience, however, is the exceptional Hindi dubbed version featuring lead voiceover performances by Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Dubbing Bear and Nikki respectively, the duo delivers an extraordinarily polished vocal performance that elevates the material beyond a standard localization. Kriti captures Nikki’s rapid descent from warm friendliness to frightening, unhinged intensity with pitch-perfect precision, mirroring the physical performance with striking emotional depth. Varun matches her step-for-step, infusing Bear with a blend of nervous charm and unraveling panic that grounds his character’s toxic choices.
