Ganesh Chaturti is one of the most celebrated festivals in the city of Mumbai, as devotees from all over the country are known to come and take blessing from Lord Ganesha’s idols from ‘Lal Baugh Cha Raja’ to ‘Chintamani’, the entire city has a festive and celebratory atmosphere around. When asked more about his experience with the festival, he mentioned “I have many fond memories of lord Ganesha which has made me his devotee since childhood. I still remember how excited I used to get in childhood as my mother used to bring lord Ganesha to our home every year, and I still remember I used to cry every year during Visarjan. Due to the pandemic, we couldn’t celebrate the festival in a proper manner, but this year, I and my entire family are super excited to be celebrating these special days with ‘Bappa’. Can’t wait to have lord Ganesha home.”

When asked Actor Aashish Bharadwaj about how he felt about the surprise, he mentioned, “It was totally unexpected that something like this would happen on the red carpet. I was quite excited about the event as it was indeed a night I would get to spend with my Zee family, but I didn’t think anyone would even remember my birthday. When asked Aashish Bharadwaj about his experience working on Mithai, he mentioned, “When I was first approached for this part, I could relate with the story and character in the very first go. Understanding that this story was already a success in Bengali television, did add a lot of challenges but at the same time, it encouraged me to prepare even more. I really like what my character represents and while each day is a new challenge on the set at the story developers, it encourages me more and more to work hard.”

Looking at the chemistry the cast shares backstage on Aashish’s Instagram account, when asked in detail about the cast’s bonding, he fondly mentioned “I am very fortunate to get a very supportive team to work on this project, it always feels as if they are just my extended family as they love and care for me so much. I’m really glad to be working with a very dear friend Debmatta and the whole cast of Mithai”.

When asked, Actor Aashish Bharadwaj about his current workout routine, he mentioned, “I have been working out even before I started my journey as an actor. It is the only way which helped me feel centered. Now that I’m working on Mithai, my intricate workout routine seems to have helped me a lot. I don’t do anything different, just like others I focus on my cardio, legs, biceps and functional training exercises, but I make sure that I do it with complete dedication and that has helped me ace all the moves required by the stunt director for the serial”.

When asked about what advice he would give to the youth who are just starting their workout journey, he briefly mentioned that “When you decide to workout, you need to make full commitment towards yourself and only then you will be able to see the desired results. Getting fit is a process and this required discipline not only in the gym but also in your diet. Once you adhere to this strict regime, you will certainly achieve your goals.”
