Ajay Singh Chaudhary says, “‘Swaran Ghar’ is very real because the situations shown here are similar to what happens in real life”!

#AjaySinghChaudhary as #Ajeet in #SwaranGhar is one of the favourite characters of the audience. For the uninitiated, this is a show by #DreamiyataProductions that is being owned by #RavieDubey and #SargunMehta. The #actor shares that he not only liked the story but also the title of the show.

“When I heard this title for the first time and got a narration of Swaran Ghar, I understood that this is a relatable story of a woman and her loving husband, Kanwaljeet Bedi, and the house that they built together. This house, which is so close to their heart, they dreamt of spending quality time doing new things, good moments with children and so on. Whenever we think about making a house, we always think that our family is going to stay happily together under one roof. Similarly, things in Swaran Ghar were good till the kids grow up, and they have their priorities that lead to problems,” he gives us an idea about the concept of the narrative.

Ajeet’s character is closest to the actor’s heart. “I’ve always wanted to play such a character like this that has never been explored on television which is why it was the best opportunity for me to take this role and give my best. I am enjoying playing this part. This show is really high on emotions and is very real because the situations shown here are similar to what happens in real life. Somewhere people do connect with the serials,” he says.

The current generations deal very differently with parents compared to how it was before. “Definitely the world is changing, there’s a lot of technology now, us as human beings are changing and growing more and our priorities have changed so much. As we see now, the generation needs space for themselves, but I believe that parents always think that their kids are still very young and they continue pampering them in their own way. This generation is very fast so somewhere now the parents are far behind their kids. But my view is that parents should be given the same priority, value, unconditional love, support and respect,” adds the actor.
Relationship stories around parents and their children are evergreen on the tube.

Agreeing, he says, “The generations are going to grow and change, and this is going to continue always when we create any content on relationships. So, it’s very relevant. Our show relates to both the parents and the kids,” he says.

About working with Dreamiyata Entertainment and the actor couple, he adds, “Ravie and Sargun are like family. They are great as producers and are already proven actors. I’ve worked with Sargun earlier in one of my shows Phulwa on Colors and we are really good friends. I trust her a lot. When she narrated the story of Swaran Ghar, she was very adamant and consistent with me that Ajay would pull off Ajeet. Her trust is the thing that is working here other than my hard work. Her belief in me encourages me a lot. I respect her sincerity a lot and how she works as a producer too. I am shooting in Chandigarh away from Mumbai but she makes sure that I feel at home here. It’s amazing to be here now and it’s like my second home. It feels great to be working with Dreamiyata productions and would love to do more work with them.”

Ajay Singh Chaudhary is doing a balancing act between Swaran Ghar and Inspector Avinash!

#AjaySinghChaudhary has no time to lose. He is shooting for the TV show, #SwaranGhar, and web series, #InspectorAvinash. The balancing act is not easy, but the actor is trying his best and enjoying every bit of it. “It is difficult but the good thing is that #NeerajPathak, director of Inspector Avinash and Swaran Ghar producer Sargun Mehta, are very cooperative and supportive. I share a great rapport with Neeraj sir. He is a mentor to me. Both of them understand my situation and know that I am involved and invested in both the projects. Things are going great. Soon the shooting of Inspector Avinash would get over. The only hassle is the travel that I have to do. While Swaran Ghar is being shot in Chandigarh, shooting of Inspector Avinash is happening in Mumbai. So it does get hectic at times, but I am enjoying it. I always wanted to be in a situation where I am shooting at different places. I love to be busy and in front of the camera,” he says.

At times, Ajay also enjoys the travelling that needs to be done to be on the sets of these projects. “Shooting for Inspector Avinash will get over soon. Once that happens, I will be able to concentrate on Swaran Ghar,” he adds.

Ask how he is taking care of his food and fitness while working round the clock, and the actor shares his secret to stay healthy.

“My fitness funda is to eat in limit. However, for the past one or two months, I have been on my toes literally all the time! And I have been travelling a lot and shooting at different places. Still, I try to go slow on carbs and take out at least one hour to work out,” he shares.

#AjaySinghChaudhary is not just a known face on TV, now he is also creating ripple on OTT with his work. The actor, who has worked in Crackdown and Bhaukaal Season 2 has a number of projects under his belt. He is happy with his journey on OTT, being able to work with Apoorva Lakhia and is trying to do better in coming times. “My first show Crackdown on Voot is directed and produced by Apoorva Lakhia. Other web series that I am doing is Bhaukaal season 2 for MX Player, directed by Jatin Wagle and produced by Baweja films and Applause Entertainment.

Then another Big webseries is Inspector Avinash for Jio Studios which is directed by Neeraj Patthak and produced by Gold Mountain pictures,
One more web series that is already to release in coming months is for Alt Balaji its called “Farrey”. Which is directed by Syed Ahemed Afzaal of Laal Rang and Youngistan fame and produced by Rajnandini Entertainment Pvt ltd.
Apart from all these I have also done another untitled web series that would be streamed on a big platform,” he shares.

Ajay is also a part of Crackdown 2. There is a major prequel shown in season two, where he will be seen playing a younger version of Hamid, a terrorist. “Apoorva sir told me about including one sequence which shows the past four years,” he continues praising the director, “I loved working with him and when he said that in the second season the story will be moving forward yet wants to include me, I got excited. He said that he really likes me as an actor and I felt so grateful. I just love him. He is a very good director, who gels around with everyone, and takes care of the actors.”

Talking about bagging Bhaukaal Season 2 Ajay reveals he was shooting for Inspector Avinash in Lucknow when things worked out. “I am playing the role of Ashfaq. As you all have seen in season 1, there are two different gangs in Bhaukaal. One is Dedha Gang run by Chintu (Siddhant kapoor) Pintu (Pradeep Nagar) and the second one is Shaukeen Gang run by Shaukeen aka (Abhimanyu Singh)and Nazneen (Bidita Bag). I enter into Shaukeen’s gang as he’s dead in season 1 end and take over everything. It’s a very interesting character. The look of Ashfaq is also unique,” he adds.

Actor #AniruddhDave who is currently fighting with the deadly COVID in a hospital in Bhopal has two of his best buddies praying hard for him. #MohitDaga, #AjaySinghChaudhary and Aniruddh’s friendship go a long long way and Mohit and Ajay are constantly keeping a tab on Aniruddh’s health and praying.

Other folks who constantly supporting and praying include Aastha Chaudhary, Himanshu Soni and Rohit Purohit who all are requesting and urging everyone to pray. Mohit says,”Aniruddh is my jaan; we are friends for a long time and I am missing him badly. I am in touch with his doctors and keeping a tab on his wellbeing. All I can ask for is – please pray. Ajay also commented,”This is a very hard time for all of us. I am super hopeful and positive about the fact that mera yaara Anirudhh will come out as a Warrior. Aniruddh Dave : These are difficult times and we all are literally living in constant fear. Many of us are taking a risk by going outside but we don’t really have an option. Vaccination is good, but yes it will take time for everyone to get vaccinated. Also, we need to take both the doses as directed and then only after sometime the antibodies start forming in the body. Yes, the vaccines don’t give you full protection but then something is better than nothing. Initially it was for frontline workers, and then for the senior citizens, and now it’s our turn, so I will definitely get it done soon. The second wave is worse than the first. The number of cases and deaths has made the situation scary. I am taking necessary precautions, but you never know from where you might contract the virus, if you look around those who are living inside their homes are also testing positive. So we have to be extra cautious. Even if you have vaccinated, do continue to take precautions. There have been cases where people thought that they had Covid once and won’t get it again, but they did get infected for the second time.

Ajay Singh Chaudhary : It’s a good move by the government. The rise in the number of cases and the deaths has created a scary situation right now. Don’t believe in the rumours around the vaccines, do take vaccination seriously and get yourself and your family vaccinated soon. I will take it as soon as it starts on May 1 and I suggest that others do it as well. The situation in India is only getting worse. I just hope things get better soon.

Mohit Daga : I support this much-required decision taken by the government. I will take it as soon as I can when this starts May 1 onwards. I suggest others do it as well because it can at least provide a safety net and does not allow the virus to affect your system badly. But yes, even after both the doses, I urge people to continue to follow all the government prescribed protocols as many have contracted the virus even after getting vaccinated. Please wear a mask, sanitise and maintain distance.

Saahil Uppal : I think the government has taken all the good decisions as far as Covid-19 pandemic is concerned, be it lockdown or allotment of time for timely vaccinations. But as much as this is significant, it’s also important that we have enough vaccines for everyone. Many places have reported a shortage of vaccines and people have to go back home without getting their doses So, first I think we need to see whether we have enough doses or else it might lead to an unwanted chaos. Everyone wants to beat the virus and hopefully we all will be able to if we behave responsibly and also get vaccinated.

Priyamvada Kant : I am sure everyone aged above 18 was eagerly waiting for this to happen. The government has done the right thing at the right time. It’s quite scary out there, and even with proper precautions people are still contracting the virus. I understand that vaccination does not guarantee 100% safety, but it will at least give us some protection from the severity of the virus. Having said that, I feel people shouldn’t feel that once vaccinated they can live the way they want. They should still continue taking all precautions. I will definitely take the vaccine as soon as I can next month.

Vijayendra Kumeria : I am glad that this decision has been taken by the government as people between 18 and 45 have to go out for a living and there is a big risk that they are taking. The decision has given hope to many. Taking the vaccine means the risk factor going down. I will get a vaccination soonest I can next month. I would request everyone to continue to follow precautions even after taking the vaccine. The more we follow precautions the quicker we will be able to control the virus.

Delnaaz Irani : This has been a good move one the government’s part. People should not think twice but get vaccinated at the earliest now that everyone above 18 is allowed to take both the doses. This will help us to fight the virus and bring back happier times. This will also help in bringing down the pressure faced by almost all industries in terms of logistics, manpower and other aspects. I will be taking the vaccine at the earliest. But then, taking the vaccines does not mean we don’t have the risk of contracting the virus. The vaccines offer a percentage of protection and do not allow the virus to create hove within our system. So continue to take precautions even after you have taken the vaccine.

Actor Ajay Singh Chaudhary, who has worked with late actor Amit Mistry in Tenali Rama, mourns his death. He says,”Amit Mistry was a talented actor. This is an unbearable loss. He was part of the show Tenali Rama where he worked for two months. When I got to know that he will be playing the role of Birbal in the show I was very happy. I had seen his previous work and knew of his talent. My first meeting with him was very warm.

He was a very vibrant personality and always had a smiling face. He was a Thinking Actor. I have shared few scenes with him in the show as well. Off camera, our discussion was always around his craft and films. We used to exchange our thoughts regarding acting.” Ajay also adds,” Last year when I saw Bandish Bandits I found his performance very good. It was just so perfect for the role which he portrayed on screen.

It’s a big big loss and I want to live with the happy moments with Amit Mistry in my heart.” Ajay is in Mumbai now waiting for the lockdown to be lifted. Tele-Celebrities have been putting in efforts to save Earth!

On World Earth Day today (April 22), celebrities like Anupama Solanki, Sneh Binny, Sidharrth Sipani, Aarvika Gupta, Ajay Singh Chaudhary talk about the eco-friendly measures they undertake on a daily basis to do their bit. More than anything else this devastating pandemic has taught us the importance of respecting and taking care of Mother Earth. For years, the goodness of Nature is being misused. The growing exploitation of natural resources for our own good has resulted in shortage of water, many species going extinct, increasing pollution leading to health hazards. While many have been putting in efforts to save Earth, there are still others who are yet to do their part.

Anupama Solanki : I don’t use plastic bags because it is harmful for nature and animals. Plastic creates a lot of pollution, so I always carry my own paper or cloth bag whenever I step out to shop for clothes, essentials or groceries. Apart from that I love plants and enjoy doing home gardening. In my hometown, we have a small garden and we do organic farming. My father is in the army, whenever he comes home he also does farming and has inculcated that habit in us.

Sneh Binny : I have been working towards restoring the earth for a long time. My company has reduced the use of paper to 50%, and my aim is to go paperless in future. One of the key processes to restore Earth is climate and environment literacy. At my office, we have put up pictorial sign boards across all the tissue dispensers to save trees and near the water taps to save water, in Hindi as well as English languages. Climate and environmental literacy is one of the key points amongst planting trees and global cleanups. Our staff follow it and we also tell them to request people they know to do the same. I alone cannot restore earth, but I also know together we can! Tell more people, put up sign boards, schools and colleges should make sure children are educated about how to save the environment and inspire and educate people around them.

Sidharrth Sipani : There are a few lifestyle changes that we can do to protect our environment. Reduce, reuse, and recycle are key words. Cut down on what you throw away, reuse water, paper etc, volunteer for cleanups in your community. The next thing is to educate. The more you know, the more you can help others to learn what they can do to save our planet. Conserve water. Choose sustainable and biodegradable products. Shop wisely, use long-lasting light bulbs and plant trees.

Aarvika Gupta : World Earth Day should be celebrated every day because if we don’t wake up to reality and continue to exploit nature, then we are actually destroying our own planet. There are many small things which we can take care of and contribute to save Earth. Save water, electricity, stop using plastic, avoid going for long drives just for fun as smoke emission from cars pollute the environment etc. I do have three small gardens in all the three balconies in my house.

Ajay Singh Chaudhary : We have to do many things if we want to save our planet. Avoid using plastic. In fact plastic should be banned. Plant trees and save water. I remember watching this interesting documentary titled Seaspiracy on Netflix, do watch that for a better understanding of the hazardous impact fishing industries have on oceans. If you don’t save our water bodies and do not stop throwing garbage into seas, oceans, ponds, rivers etc, then we are actually destroying mother Earth slowly. Plant trees in your neighbourhood, maintain a small garden and gift plants as gifts. It’s time we take proper care of Mother Earth.
