Speaking about bringing the father-son duo, #Udit and #AdityaNarayan, on board, Indra Kumar shared, “Forty years ago, when I launched my first film #Mohabbat as a producer, we had a song picturized on #AmjadKhan and #AnilKapoor. The late #BappiLahiri was the music director, and I got #KishoreKumar and #AmitKumar (father-son duo) to sing the song. Now, 40 years later, I have Udit and Aditya on board (father-son duo) to sing a song for my son’s debut film, Tera Yaar Hoon Main, Life has truly come in full circle!”

He further added, “I am happy to have both Udit and Aditya sing a song for Aman’s film. They are both exceptionally talented singers, and I have worked on most of my films with Udit. I am confident that audiences will relate to the song, picturized on Paresh Rawal and Aman (the reel father-son duo), with the voices of Udit and Aditya Narayan (the real father-son duo).”

Apart from debutant Aman Indra Kumar, this rom-com also features #AkanshaSharma and #PareshRawal in piovital roles.

Helmed by Milap Zaveri, Tera Yaar Hoon Main marks the director’s return to the romantic genre, filled with music and action. Produced by #AjayMurdia, #BinaIndraKumar and Enter 10 under Indira Enterprise and BIK Productions, the film promises audiences an entertaining and memorable experience, and is all set to hit theatres in 2025.

Akansha Sharma (Aur Bhai Kya Chal Ra Hai) says, “This festival celebrates the unbreakable bond between the husband and wife. I eagerly look forward to this day every year. I wake up early in the morning for Sargi, and towards the early evening, all women in my house and society gather for the puja. It is that time of the year when women thoroughly dress up all in their finery. Mehandi application is one of most favourite activities along with buying beautiful bangles. Mother-in-law and I eagerly await for the moon and then break our fast with water and sweet.” Sapna Sikarwar (Bimlesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) shares, “If there is one day where I get the most attention and pampered, it is the day of Karva Chauth. Every year I observe fast on that day. Different energy flows within me that makes me have the least food craving on Karva Chauth! I love the application of henna on my hands and be ready with the solah sringaar. My husband takes me on a long drive after diner, and we click lots of photos too. As every year, I am eagerly looking forward to Karva Chauth.”

Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai) shares, “Karva Chauth holds a special place in my heart because of the customs that my family has been following over the years. Every year my in-laws visit us a day before prep for the festival the next day. My mother-in-law and I wake up early in the morning to have sargi while my father-in-law and husband serve us food. My husband and father-in-law pamper my mother-in-law and me throughout the day. Dressing up for this day always tops my list. It’s been 20 years, and I still feel the jitters in my stomach when my husband gifts me something on this day.” Archana Mittal (Anuradha Agarwal, Ghar Ek Mandir-Kripa Agrasen Maharaja Ki) shares, “I’ve been married for the past twenty years and have celebrated Karva Chauth every year since. I am married in a Marwadi family, and I am a Punjabi, so there’s a difference in the customs. In Punjabi’s, we have the Sargi before Sunrise, whereas here in my household, there isn’t a Sargi; instead, we keep the Karva made of mud with sugar, mithai and thirteen wheat grains later used for the vidhi. Also, my husband loves me a little too much and tries his best to fast every year but fails (laughs). Lastly, I would like to wishall the beautiful women with a very happy Karva Chauth.”

They are steady rivals and the best of friends the Mishra’s can ask for! They may seem quiet and composed, but they too can make a ruckus. Always in an attempt to prove themselves to better than the Mishra’s, Sakina and Zafar Ali Mirza will give everyone a taste of their carefully stirred tea served with chaska!

The actors Pawan Singh and Akansha Sharma are signed to act Zafar Ali Mirza and Sakina’s role. Pawan has been in the industry for eight years and has encompassed various roles in his career. Last seen in &TV’s Gudiya Humari Sabhi Par Bhari as Atta Chacha, and now playing Zafar Ali Mirza’s role in Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai? Pawan shares, “I am excited about this role. I love the character and its portrayal in the show. From the way Mirza is scared of his wife to his unconditional love towards her makes the character very lovable. Sakina ke pyaar ka gulaam hai Mirza! Their relationship is a highlight one cannot miss out on! Mirza is a family man who has been running his chai ki dukaan – Lucknow Tea House and is known for it. His tea stall is more famous as a charcha spot than for the tea itself. From politics to cricket to household gossips, everything is discussed here with a cup of tea. His only motive is to outshine Mishra by cooking up stories and taking the limelight. I auditioned for the role of Mishra initially, but the makers of the show decided that I was better suited for the role of Mirza. Although I am well-versed with the Lucknowi culture, to fit into the shoes of Mirza, I had to work upon my Urdu diction and command over the language. And the best way to do this is to read poetry and ghazals to get the proper punctuation and expression. I am looking forward to gelling with the whole team and crew of ‘Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai?’ and create milestones in the Indian TV industry.”

Akansha Sharma will be playing the role of Mirza’s wife, Sakina. She is a proficient dancer and a Bollywood choreographer and has done quite a few cameo roles in the past but is her debut as a lead actress in a series with ‘Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai?’. On her debut, Akansha shares, “I feel the character was written just for me. Looking at Sakina is like looking at myself in the mirror. The way she acts and behaves around her husband is similar to how I behave. All these factors make it a natural transition and a cakewalk. Even the writers were amazed to see me in real life as they could see the traits of Sakina in me. She is feisty and knows her way around. Sakina’s delicacy and precision are spot on, making her a ‘meethi churi’ indeed! Apni choti ungli pe nacha deti hai Mirza ko, ese tareeke hain Sakina ke paas. She shares a unique bond with Shanti, and they compete in everything, yet their days are incomplete without each other. Playing the character was easy. However, I had to improvise my Urdu pronunciation, so I engaged in random conversations with the localities to get the correct diction and proper accent. I observed the way they communicate and their body language. I visited a few lady’s parlours and observed how they wore burkhas and wrapped hijabs. I used to pen down everything in my notebook. I am glad to be a part of this show and cannot wait to see audiences’ reaction when the show goes on air. I am looking forward to an amazing on-screen and off-screen experience.”

Pawan Singh aka Zafar Ali Mirza shares, “When I was in school, someone announced that there was free rajma chawal in the canteen. Hungry as ever, I rushed to grab 2 plates of the hot steaming food. After relishing the dish, the owner of the stall came up to me asking for money. That day I was not only fooled but looted too! But the rajma chawal was totally worth it!”

Akansha Sharma aka Sakina Mirza shares, “One night I woke up at 1 am and went out to get water. My mother was awake at the same time and told me it was early morning and I should get ready for school. Half-asleep I got ready in my uniform, packed my bag and was all set to take the bus. That’s when my mother started giggling and told me to go back to sleep. I was furious but just as sleepy, so that night I slept in my uniform and woke up all ready to go to school!”

Rohitashv Gour aka Manmohan Tiwari shares, “It so happened on the sets of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, when I was informed that 1st of April is a holiday for the entire team. I remember my children warning me that it is an April Fool’s prank. Just then I got a call from the production manager asking me to come to sets as it was a working day. I rushed to work and found out not a single soul was present.  That’s when my sneaky co-star Aasif Sheikh called me and said that aap April Fool ban gaye!”

Anang Desai aka Danny Sharma shares, “I enjoy comedy and considering my age, not a lot of people peg me as a fun and spontaneous person. I remember once a young boy came to me asking for my signature. The pen in his hand slipped and there was ink all over my white kurta. I was in a hurry and afraid I would get late. The boy started laughing and yelled Happy April Fool’s Day! When I saw my kurta, the stains vanished completely. It was as if it was merely water. Bacho ke saamne hum bade hi fool ban gaye!”

Yogesh Tripathi aka Daroga Happu Singh shares, “I am the clown on most occasions but this one time, my wife pranked me on April Fool’s Day. Our house help had not come and my wife told me to cook for the day. I managed to make two dishes and completely messed up the kitchen. Just then the bell rang, and our help walked in. My wife burst laughing and was pleasantly surprised by the food I cooked. This year I plan to get my revenge!”
