Prime Video recently announced that the third season of the Emmy-nominated series – Four More Shots Please! will globally premiere on October 21 in India and more than 240 countries and territories. Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, directed by Joyeeta Patpatia and written by Devika Bhagat, with dialogues by Ishita Moitra, the much-awaited Amazon Original will pick up from the dramatic note on which the second season ended, bringing back to screens the lives of four unapologetically flawed women who live, love, blunder, and discover what continues to make them tick through their forever friendship in the city of Mumbai.

Featuring Kirti Kulhari, Sayani Gupta, Maanvi Gagroo, and Bani J in lead roles, Season 3 will see Prateik Babbar, Lisa Ray, Neil Bhooplam, Rajeev Siddharth, Amrita Puri, Simone Singh and Samir Kochhar reprising their respective roles, whereas Jim Sarbh, Rohan Mehra, Shilpa Shukla and Sushant Singh will be joining the well-acclaimed Amazon Original this new season.

ZEE5’s recent web series ‘Jeet Ki Zid’ has become a sensation amongst the audience for its real storyline and treatment of its narrative. Amit Sadh who essays the role of Major Deep in the series and Amrita Puri who plays the role of Jaya, recently had a conversation with the real life Major and his wife. Between the four of them, everyone shared laughs and had an intimate conversation about various things including how they agreed to have their story told, their struggles during the time when Major Deep went to Kargil, how the real love story began between them and much more.

Expressing his gratitude for being able to play such an amazing role, Amit Sadh shares in the video, “I had the privilege of wearing the uniform of the great Indian army again and to play and become Major Deep Singh Sengar along with my very very close friend and an actor I respect so much, Amrita who played the role of Jaya, Major Deependra Singh’s wife. It’s been a big bag of fortune for us and emotions and learning.”

Major Deependra Singh Sengar approved of the series and expressed in the video, “The show has been made really well, the portrayal of the characters is as real as it can be for a piece of art. It’s real in portraying the essence so I would say it gets a 10/10. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of it without such a strong support system, be it the army, my friends, my family and especially my wife.”

It is a testimony to the real-life story of Kargil war hero Major Deependra Singh Sengar who fought against all odds in different walks of life, be it the war or personal life. The series captures all of Major Deep Singh’s highlights and turning points in his life. The life of a soldier is depicted in the series with high octane action sequences and various army missions, the level of which has not been witnessed before.

As the release inches closer, the makers of ZEE5’s ‘Jeet Ki Zid’ have now released the individual character poster and promo of Major Deep Singh’s wife Jaya, played by Amrita Puri. The promo gives a deeper insight into how Jaya played such an important abs crucial role in helping her husband overcome all odds.

Talking about the promo, Amrita shares, “Playing the role of Jaya ma’am has been an incredibly humbling experience. Her journey, her dedication, and resilience left me in awe. Being able to tell her story through this series was an honour.”

The actor will be seen in his upcoming web series Zidd, costarring Amrita Puri. Amit has gone through an extensively rigorous regime to gear up for his role as Major Deependra Singh Sengar, Special Forces officer. The series is inspired by true events and traces the physical and emotional struggle of a war hero left paralyzed waist down after the Kargil war. Amit’s back bruises are a testament of his dedication towards the role.

Amit shared, “I have put my heart and soul for this role. It was one of the most extremely challenging character I’d to play and you will soon see why. I already had a huge respect for our Indian army and soldiers but after going through their fitness regime, I realized what it truly feels like to be a soldier.
