Get ready to laugh out loud with &TV’s #BhabijiGharParHai once again, as the entry of a new neighbour, #Kaalindi, in the #ModernColony brings an exciting twist. While the residents of Modern Colony have always been smitten with #AnitaBhabi (#VidishaSrivastava), her new neighbour, Kaalindi, will captivate everyone with her wit and charm, especially #Teeka!

Speaking about the upcoming track, Vibhuti Narayan Mishra (played by Aasif Sheikh) shares, “Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) goes undercover as a woman named Kaalindi and moves into Modern Colony to complete a secret mission: Mislead a terrorist Sameer (Vikas Khandola) in a romantic trap and catch him red-handed with a bomb. Meanwhile, Teeka (Vaibhav Mathur), struggling with depression, attempts suicide. To help him, Saxena (Saanand Verma) suggests finding him a partner. After much discussion, Vibhuti and Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour) decide that Kaalindi is the perfect match for Teeka. Teeka, smitten by Kaalindi, insists on marrying her. They approach Kaalindi with a marriage proposal on behalf of Teeka, but Happu (disguised as Kaalindi), to protect his mission and identity, fabricates a story about Kaalindi’s family, claiming she will only marry after her much older sister gets married. This dampens everyone’s hopes, as they believe the elder sister’s marriage is unlikely, making Teeka’s marriage impossible. Once again, Teeka decides to commit suicide.”

Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi, adds, “To save Teeka, everyone kidnaps Happu just as he is about to catch the terrorist. This intervention allows the terrorist to escape. The audience will be captivated by this entertaining storyline and eagerly anticipate whether Kaalindi will successfully apprehend the terrorist or end up becoming Teeka’s partner.”

For the past nine years, &TV’s cult comedy show, #BhabijiGharParHai, has captivated audiences with its delightful characters and uproarious storylines, making it a staple on Indian television. To commemorate its ninth anniversary this month, the show’s lead, #AasifSheikh (#VibhutiNarayanMishra) and #VidishaSrivastava (#AnitaBhabi) embarked on a visit to the renowned #ShriKashiVishwanath temple in #Varanasi. Subsequently, the entire cast and crew came together on set for a joyous cake-cutting ceremony, marking this significant milestone in style. Talking about this momentous milestone, producer Sanjay Kohli from Edit II Productions said, “Reaching the nine-year mark is an incredible milestone, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved with Edit II &TV, and especially the dedicated cast and crew whose unwavering efforts have propelled our show to immense success. This achievement is a testament to the show’s enduring popularity and affection for its characters. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our audience whose unwavering support has made it one of the most beloved comedy shows on television.”

Adding to this, Aasif Sheikh, essaying Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, said, “After more than three decades in the industry and playing countless characters, the love and enlightenment I have received for the character of Vibhuti Narayan Mishra are invaluable. I never thought I would portray a role for over nine years, yet Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai has surpassed that mark and aims to endure indefinitely. To celebrate this milestone, my onscreen counterpart Anita (Vidisha Srivastava) and I visited Varanasi to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva at the revered Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. While exploring the enchanting Banarasi Galli and meeting our fans, their joy overwhelmed us. We continued our celebration by gathering on set with the entire team, cutting the cake and enjoying delicious food. My feeling for this achievement can only be expressed in one word: ‘blessed’.”

Rohitashv Gour, essaying Manmohan Tiwari, shares, “I want to express my heartfelt congratulations to the entire team for achieving the remarkable milestone of nine successful years. This moment holds immense significance for all of us, and we celebrated it with a cake-cutting ceremony. I have a deep passion for the show, which has played a pivotal role in shaping my career and connecting me with an extraordinary audience. I can vividly recall our inaugural day of shooting together, never imagining that we would reach nine years as a team. Portraying the character of Manmohan Tiwari has been incredibly fulfilling, and I am pleased that viewers enjoyed watching me on screen. I commend our producers, cast, and crew for their unwavering dedication and hard work. I sincerely thank our audience for their steadfast love and support throughout this remarkable journey.”

Vidisha Srivastava, essaying Anita Bhabi, adds, “Our show has reached a milestone of nine years, and I am incredibly grateful to our viewers for their immense love and affection. Every character has etched a special place in the audience’s hearts, so much so the characters’ catchphrases have become a part of daily conversation parlance. I realised this when I was in Varanasi recently at Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple with my co-star Vibhu (Aasif Sheikh) to seek blessings for our show’s success and Mahashivratri. Fans met us and expressed their love for the show and each character. We also celebrated this achievement with our ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’ family on our sets, reminiscing about our journey together. The joyous memories we have created for the audience over the years are a matter of pride for our entire team. Wherever we go, our fans greet us with our funny dialogues, which are the best compliments for us. I am immensely grateful to the audience for continuously appreciating our unmatched comedy content. We aim to keep entertaining all our viewers with more hilarious tracks in the future.”

Shubhangi Atre, essaying Angoori Bhabi, concludes, “It is a big moment for us as we complete nine successful years. Essaying Angoori’s character has made me a household name, and the character continues to be the audience’s absolute favourite. I feel proud to have this opportunity. Congratulations to the entire cast, crew, and audience for making the show successful. Cheers to many more successful years!”

Actors have always been attracted to the timeless allure of denim fashion. It’s a staple in wardrobes worldwide because of its effortless style and versatility. #Denim reflects a lifestyle that’s both comfortable and chic. &TV actors such as #RahulJethwa ( #AwadhBihariVajpayee, #Atal ), #GazalSood ( #Kate, #HappuKiUltanPaltan), and #VidishaSrivastava ( #AnitaBhabi, #BhabijiGharParHain) have all embraced denim as a go-to choice for expressing their style.

Rahul Jethwa, Awadh Bihari Vajpayee in &TV’s Atal, says, “Denim is my preferred choice in day-to-day life because it offers both style and comfort. Whether it’s the rugged look of distressed jeans, the classic elegance of a denim jacket, or the sleek sophistication of black denim, denim offers endless options to express his style. Its versatility in various colours and shades allows him to transition seamlessly from one occasion to another, making it an essential and dynamic part of his wardrobe.”

Similarly, Gazal Sood, the spirited Kate in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, praises denim as her trusted companion on set. She remarks, “Denim is my go-to choice for a perfect blend of comfort and style. Its effortless charm and easy maintenance make it an indispensable part of her wardrobe. Whether she’s channelling the carefree spirit of Kate or aiming for a more refined appearance, denim consistently delivers. Its timeless appeal and adaptability make it a worthwhile investment, ensuring she’s always ready for any scene with ease. Let me share an interesting fact – I never throw away my old denim; instead, I recycle it for handbags and pouches because it’s durable and looks good.”

Echoing the same sentiments, Vidisha Srivastava, Anita Bhabi in &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain praises denim’s timeless allure. She asserts, “The biggest thing about Denim is that it effortlessly complements any individual style. From the relaxed fit of jeans to the sophistication of a denim dress, denim offers a versatile array of choices for any occasion. Its durability and low maintenance make it a practical and reliable option for everyday wear. Additionally, its seamless transition from day to night ensures readiness for various events, whether a casual outing with friends or a formal dinner.”

This year, the theme for #InternationalWomensDay is ‘#InvestinWomenAccelerateProgress’, which emphasises the importance of economic empowerment of women and girls as a key lever to accelerate progress. &TV’s female protagonists #NehaJoshi (#KrishnaDeviVajpayee) from #Atal, #GeetanjaliMishra (Rajesh), #HimaniShivpuri (#KatoriAmma) from #HappuKiUltanPaltan, #ShubhangiAtre (#AngooriBhabi) and #VidishaSrivastava (#AnitaBhabi) from #BhabijiGharParHai share views gender equality and women’s well-being being essential for a prosperous economy and a healthy planet.

Neha Joshi, essaying Krishna Devi Vajpayee in &TV’s Atal, says, “Recognizing women’s rights as a critical investment issue is of paramount importance in creating transformative solutions that enable women to realise their rights, break free from the cycle of poverty, and truly thrive. Investing in women is a cornerstone for building inclusive societies, and progress for women benefits us all. Despite significant progress, women still face numerous challenges in the professional landscape, including gender bias, wage gaps, and leadership disparities, which persist and hinder the full realisation of women’s potential. Therefore, it’s time to dismantle these barriers and create environments that empower women to reach their fullest potential.”

Geetanjali Mishra, essaying Rajesh in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, “I firmly believe in creating a society where women are given equal responsibilities and opportunities as men. Society often perceives women as weak, but I assure you that they are among the most powerful creations of God. A woman aware of her potential can shake the world with strength and fearlessness. My mother is a prime example for me. After my father’s death, she became a single mother, but she handled her responsibilities with such resilience that I never sensed any inadequacy. Her unwavering support has fortified me. I strongly advocate investing in women and providing them equal opportunities, accelerating society’s progress.”

Vidisha Srivastava, essaying Anita Bhabi in &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, says, “The world is undergoing a significant transformation in accepting women’s various roles. Women are now viewed as breadwinners, professionals, and independent thinkers, and have proven themselves as equals in every aspect. This year’s theme of “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress” is paramount, and more people should discuss it to create a society where both men and women are treated with equal respect and opportunities. Embracing equity means embracing diversity and inclusivity; we can achieve equality through this process. Therefore, on this Women’s Day, I would like to acknowledge all the “Superwomen” who have made progress despite their adversities. Happy Women’s Day!”

Himani Shivpuri, essaying Katori Amma in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, “Over the years, we have seen significant progress in improving the representation of women in politics, increasing economic opportunities, and advancing healthcare worldwide. However, it is disheartening to acknowledge that women still face unfair treatment in various regions, which demands urgent attention. We cannot achieve success when half of our population is not given equal opportunities. Therefore, we must work together and invest in ourselves to catalyse the advancement of womanhood. On this International Women’s Day, let us all strive for a world where womanhood is recognised and celebrated. Here’s to the strength and resilience of women everywhere! Happy Women’s Day.”

Shubhangi Atre, essaying Angoori Bhabi in &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, “As a woman and mother, I have worked hard to create an environment for my daughter that includes both responsibilities and opportunities. By doing so, I believe I can empower her to embrace freedom, strength, and resilience while uplifting other women. Unfortunately, not everyone in our society has access to these same privileges. Therefore, it’s crucial to raise awareness about this issue. We should regularly have conversations with our children and domestic helpers who have daughters about the significance of women’s progress. By doing this, we can help them understand, act, and spread the message. On International Women’s Day, my message is simple: we have made significant progress towards achieving equal status alongside our male counterparts. Today, we have the power to choose any path and embrace any identity that we desire.”

Watch Atal at 8:00 pm, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan at 10:00 pm, and Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai at 10:30 pm, airing every Monday to Friday only on &TV.

The post &TV’s female protagonists emphasises the importance of economic empowerment of women! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

Yogesh Tripathi (Daroga Happu Singh) and Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh Singh) visited Indore to witness the grand celebration at one of the most revered Lord Shiva temples in Ujjain – Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple.

About visiting Mumbai’s famous Babulnath mandir, Neha Joshi, aka Krishna Devi Vajpayee in &TV’s Atal, said, “To partake in the divine festivities for Mahashivratri, I, along with Ashutosh and Vyom, visited Mumbai’s renowned Babulnath Temple. The energy inside the temple was so beautiful and peaceful, with devotees flocking to get darshan and joining the live puja. The air buzzed with devotion, and collective prayer created a sense of unity among the diverse crowds. After the darshan, the priest offered sacred ash and placed a vermilion mark on our forehead. Witnessing the divine lingam on Mahashivratri felt like a unique and profound experience. While exiting the temple, the celebratory atmosphere continued outside. Devotees exchanged smiles and greetings, sharing the joy of Mahashivratri chanting ‘Har Har Mahadev’. The temple surroundings were adorned with lights and decorations, adding to the festive spirit.”

Ashutosh Kulkarni, aka Krishan Bihari Vajpayee, shared, “I have been living in Mumbai for many years but never had the opportunity to visit the Babulnath temple. It is one of the oldest temples in the city, and this year, I finally got to visit and seek blessings ahead of Mahashivratri celebrations with my onscreen family. Upon entering the temple, the gentle aroma of incense and the rhythmic chants of prayers welcomed us, creating a soothing ambience. My family and I are staunch devotees of Lord Shiva; during Mahashivratri, we fast and do darshans every year. The visit to Babulnath temple was serene as the tranquil ambience, and the festivities enhanced the entire spiritual experience. It left me with a deep sense of spiritual fulfilment as if I had been a part of something sacred and extraordinary.” Vyom Thakkar, essaying Young Atal in &TV’s Atal, expressed, “This was my first visit to the Babulnath temple. Stepping into the revered Babulnath temple, I was filled with awe as the sacred atmosphere and devotion created a sense of spiritual reverence. I offered fruits and milk to the Shiva lingam, expressing gratitude to Lord Shiva. Here’s wishing everyone a joyous Mahashivratri. ‘Om Namah Shivay!’.”

Talking about visiting Varanasi’s Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, Aasif Shaikh, aka Vibhuti Narayan Mishra from &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, said, “Having the chance to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple has been a long-standing wish of mine, and I am grateful that it has finally come to fruition. Additionally, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain completed nine years, and there is no better way to celebrate this milestone. Thus, two compelling reasons for this visit were celebrating our milestone and seeking blessings from Lord Shiva. During our visit, seeking Lord Shiva’s blessings was a deeply memorable experience; I was captivated by the temple’s intricately crafted exterior and golden roof. Stepping onto the temple grounds, I felt a profound sense of spirituality. Witnessing Lord Shiva’s Jyotirlinga was truly enchanting and unforgettable. As I made my way to the temple, I carried with me a list of wishes, but upon beholding the linga, I was utterly mesmerised. I wished for more time to immerse myself in the sacred atmosphere. After our Darshan, I savoured the most delicious peda prasad and packed some dry fruit laddoos to share with my family. Moreover, I visited my home and various locations to reminisce about cherished memories. This Mahashivratri proved to be a genuine celebration for me.”

Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi from TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shared, “This year, again, I had the privilege of returning to my hometown to seek blessings at Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. I am a huge Lord Shiva bhakt, and this year’s visit was extra special for several reasons. I thanked Lord Shiva for blessing me with a beautiful baby girl named ‘Aadya’. I expressed gratitude for the successful nine-year journey of our show, “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain,” and for my portrayal of Anita Bhabi for the past two years. I prayed for his blessings to continue showering upon us, enabling us to entertain and delight our viewers with each episode. I was completely mesmerised by the Mahashivratri celebrations this time. The temple was adorned with beautiful decorations, and countless devotees gathered to seek divine blessings. The vibrant atmosphere, joyous dances led by devotees portraying Shiv and Parvati, and the heartfelt chanting of “Har Har Mahadev” made it a deeply spiritual experience. I do hope to continue this tradition every year if time permits.”

Talking about visiting Ujjain’s Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Yogesh Tripathi, aka Daroga Happu Singh from &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shared, “Seeking the blessings of Lord Shiva in this sacred temple brought a deep sense of peace and fulfilment. During Mahashivratri, the city exudes a different vibe and energy. I was fortunate to relive this experience and receive blessings at one of India’s most revered temples this year. Standing before the Jyotirlinga, I felt a deep sense of reverence and spiritual fulfilment. The experience blended tradition, culture, and a personal connection with Lord Shiva, making it a cherished memory. Additionally, I prayed and thanked Lord Shiva for the successful completion of five years of my show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan and hoped for many more to celebrate. The visit to Indore and Ujjain will always remain special to me. Being a big foodie, our visit to Indore’s bustling markets and eateries was quite enjoyable. I loved eating street food and interacting with our fans on the streets.”

Geetanjali Mishra, essaying Rajesh in &TV’s Happu ki Ultan Paltan, said, “There could not have been a better way to celebrate Mahashivratri and five successful years of our show than this. As I entered the Mahakal temple, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of spirituality and devotion, with the soul-stirring sounds of traditional hymns and chants creating a divine ambience. As I approached the sanctum sanctorum, the sight of the sacred Jyotirlinga, representing the eternal cosmic light of Lord Shiva, left me awestruck. The rhythmic recitation of prayers and the fragrant scent of incense permeated the air, heightening the sense of connection with the divine. Participating in the ceremonial rituals and witnessing the grandeur of Mahashivratri celebrations at Mahakal was a spiritually enriching experience, leaving an indelible mark on my heart and soul. While in Indore, I savoured my favourite street foods, purchased gifts for my niece and nephew, and explored the bustling Sarafa Bazar.”

#VidishaSrivastava, known as ‘#GoriMem’ in &TV’s #BhabijiGharParHai, is admired for her stylish portrayal of #AnitaBhabi. Notably, Vidisha, who portrays Anita, personally does her makeup. She believes less is more, opting for subtle makeup to enhance the onscreen persona. According to her, subtle makeup brings out natural features, conceals imperfections, and results in a fresh, glowing look. Vidisha’s impeccable makeup skills and styling often earn her compliments.

Elaborating on her makeup and styling, Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi, enthusiastically shares, “I frequently receive compliments for my portrayal of Anita Bhabi. When I’m out, people approach me, praising my chemistry with Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) and Tiwari Ji (Rohitashv Gour). Many young girls admire my appearance on the show, often asking about my makeup routine and the sarees I wear. Such praises bring me joy. Surprisingly, many are unaware I do my makeup, taking only twenty minutes to achieve the desired look. While Anita’s strength lies in her robust personality, applying makeup accentuates my features. Despite the production team offering makeup artists, I prefer taking charge. For me, doing makeup and styling my hair is almost therapeutic. I steer clear of heavy foundations, maintain thick eyebrows, and avoid overdoing the makeup, letting the attire speak for itself. The pivotal factor in my makeover is accentuating my eyebrows and generously applying mascara. I believe that for any artist, the eyes talk louder than words. My makeup revolves around natural tones, using nude shades to enhance my features subtly. A neutral shimmer adds a glossy touch to my natural skin tone. Over the years, I’ve incorporated interesting makeup hacks, like mixing argan oil into my foundation for a radiant effect on camera. Being versatile in portraying characters, makeup is an essential element that completes the look and brings a fun dimension to each persona. Even in childhood, during festivals, dance performances, and dramas,”

She adds, “I enjoyed experimenting with makeup. While I haven’t received professional makeup training, my background as a classical dancer familiarised me with makeup intricacies. Anita and I prefer elegant sarees in vibrant colours, including solid and pastel shades, giving my appearance a classy and refined touch. Even in Western attire, I incorporate Indian fabrics for an Indo-Western fusion look. The jewellery complements this fusion, blending traditional and modern designs. With my acting experience, I can attest that the right makeup and styling are the foundation for a character’s appearance, providing a distinct personality to each role.”

During winter, the cold weather can be tough on the skin. Therefore, following a skincare routine that focuses on keeping the skin hydrated and moisturised, which can combat dryness, is crucial. To keep the skin healthy, plump, and glowing, artists from &TV share their best-kept secrets for winter skincare regimes. These include #NehaJoshi (#KrishnaDeviVajpayee, #Atal), #GeetanjaliMishra (#Rajesh, #HappuKiUltanPaltan), and #VidishaSrivastava (#AnitaBhabi, #BhabijiGharParHai.

Neha Joshi, essaying Krishna Devi Vajpayee in &TV’s show Atal, shares, “I use natural and organic skincare products in my daily routine, such as face oils and aloe gel, which help to keep my skin moisturised. Additionally, I prefer using homemade face packs and scrubs to nourish my skin during winter. Drinking plenty of water is also essential for my skin, and I always carry a water bottle with me, whether on set or working out. To moisturise my skin during winter, I use a homemade scrub made from pomegranate seeds, my go-to home remedy. I combine two teaspoons of pomegranate seeds and one cup of raw oats and then pour it into a mixing bowl with two tablespoons of honey and buttermilk. I apply the mixture on my face for a few minutes and then rinse it off. This helps remove dead skin cells, rejuvenate the skin, and remove excess oil. It is high in anti-ageing ingredients like antioxidants and vitamin C and is the best remedy for my skin. Moreover, I take care of my hair by oiling it regularly and avoiding using hot tools like blow dryers or curling irons that can strip the natural oils from my hair.”

Geetanjali Mishra, the Rajesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “Winter is all about enjoying the cold weather and sipping on a hot chocolate amidst the beauty of nature. However, these winter activities can affect your skin, making it dry and lifeless. Therefore, it is critical to protect your skin from dryness. To keep my skin healthy, I use a homemade scrub twice a week to exfoliate it. The scrub mixes oatmeal, orange peel, and red lentil powder with rose water. I apply it on my skin and leave it until it is semi-dry. Then, I scrub my face for a few minutes before washing it with ice water. The results are stunning! The mixture helps to moisturise and hydrate my skin for three to four days. I highly recommend this to all readers who want to keep their skin glowing and healthy.”

Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Winters are harsh for my skin as I have dry skin. So, I follow a strict regimen for skincare during the cold season, which also includes skincare advice given to me by my grandmother, which has done wonders for my skin. She suggested using a mixture of milk cream and honey. Milk cream, or malai, is a natural moisturiser that helps keep your skin supple and soft. Honey, on the other hand, is great for getting rid of bacteria that cause pimples and acne on your face. To make the mixture, combine a tablespoon of milk, cream, and honey in a mixing bowl. Apply the mixture to your face and skin for about 15 minutes before rinsing it with lukewarm water. If you have dry skin, try this at least twice a week, and you’ll love how your skin feels during the winter season.”

In &TV’s #HappuKiUltanPaltan, while Happu will turn food in-charge, #AnitaBhabi will take control of anger management in #BhabijiGharParHain.

About &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan track Daroga Happu Singh shares, “Happu (Yogesh Tripathi) is chasing a gangster named Shakal when he receives a call from Rajesh (Geetanjali Mishra), who asks him what they should prepare for dinner. An argument takes over between them over the choice of a dish, and Shakal takes advantage of the situation to escape. When Happu returns home, he discovers that a dish he did not approve of has been prepared and becomes angry. He declares that from then on, he will decide what meals are cooked in the house. Rajesh agrees but decides to irritate him with her actions. The next day, Happu asks everyone what they want to eat, and everyone gives out their own choices, leaving him confused about what to cook. Later that night, Hritik (Aryan Prajapati), Chamchi (Zaara Warsi), and Ranbir (Somya Azad) demand burgers for their tiffin boxes, but the shop is closed due to the late hour. Happu is left with no choice but to sneak burger buns. However, the next morning, the kids changed their minds and said they no longer wanted burgers, making him even more anxious. His insistence on deciding the menu makes Katori Amma (Himani Shivpuri) sick, and everyone blames Happu for everything.”

About &TV’s Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain track Manmohan Tiwari shares, “Tiwari (Rohitashv Gour) teases Vibhuti (Aasif Sheikh) about his joblessness, which results in Vibhuti becoming frustrated. Meanwhile, Anita completed a diploma in anger management and received a certificate. With the help of his friend Prem (Vishwajeet Soni), Vibhuti lands a job at a mobile shop. Seeking revenge against Tiwari, Vibhuti starts calling Tiwari from unknown numbers and pretending to be one of his relatives. Similarly, Happu (Yogesh Tripathi), frustrated with the commissioner (Kishore Bhanushali), screams at him when his leave gets cancelled. Later, he suggests to Happu take Anita’s anger management class. In another plot twist, Tiwari gets frustrated with the prank calls and goes to Anita for anger management. However, things take an unexpected turn when Anita herself becomes irritated with their anger management issues.”

#KarvaChauth, a cherished and traditional Hindu festival celebrated primarily in India, is a poignant testament to the enduring bonds of love and commitment within married couples. This festival holds a special place in the hearts of millions as married women fast from sunrise to moonrise, fervently praying for the longevity and well-being of their beloved husbands. Yet, Karva Chauth isn’t merely about fasting; it’s a celebration of the sacred union between spouses, marked by cultural, social, and even religious significance. &TV actresses delve into details of how they plan to celebrate it this year. These include #AnitaPradhan (#MaltiDevi, #DoosriMaa), #SapnaSikarwar (#Bimlesh, #HappuKiUltanPaltan) and #VidishaSrivastava (#AnitaBhabi, #BhabijiGharParhai).

Anita Pradhan, aka Malti Devi from Doosri Maa, shares, “As a married woman, Karva Chauth holds a special place in my heart, symbolizing love, deep emotions, the essence of sacrifice, and unwavering devotion. Each year, I eagerly anticipate this auspicious day, ready to embark on my annual fast and looking forward to the moment when I can wish my beloved husband a joyful Karwa Chauth while participating in the sacred traditions. Every year, I wake up early for the cherished Sargi meal, as the sun’s first rays appear on the horizon. As twilight falls, the women in our household come together for the sacred puja, dressed in exquisite attire. I take great pride in adorning my hands with intricate Mehandi designs and choosing beautiful Chuddas and jewelry. Both my husband and I eagerly await the moon’s appearance, and when it graces the night sky, we break our fast with a sip of water and delightful sweets. In conclusion, I send heartfelt wishes for a joyful Karva Chauth to all the radiant women celebrating this special day.”

Sapna Sikarwar, aka Bimlesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “On the occasion of Karva Chauth, I receive extra attention, and my husband showers me with love and care. Every year, I observe a fast on this day, and my husband joins me so that I’m not alone in this. He’s quite the romantic (chuckles). During Karva Chauth, I feel a unique energy and surprisingly have fewer food cravings! I enjoy applying henna to my hands and adorning myself with the Solah Shringar. This year, it will be no different. We’ve been fasting together for all these years, and it’s been a beautiful journey. To keep ourselves occupied, we engage in indoor games, watch TV, and listen to music. As for the gift, I like it to remain a surprise for both of us! I extend my best wishes to every woman and their husbands, if they are also fasting, for a very joyful Karva Chauth.”

Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Karva Chauth is steeped in the emotions, traditions, and enduring love of this cultural celebration. It’s not just a custom but a pledge to the lasting connection of marriage. I observe Karva Chauth annually, and this year, celebrating it as a new mom adds a beautiful dimension to the tradition. Fasting takes on a new significance, symbolizing resilience and the balance of being a wife and a mother. I relish the excitement and spirit of this festival, as all women look their finest and support each other during the fast and puja. The eagerly anticipated moonrise for the puja and breaking of the fast is a cherished moment for every couple and family. Breaking the fast under the moonlit sky is not just a reunion with my partner but a celebration of family. Karva Chauth becomes a testament to the transformative power of love, now encompassing the challenges and joys of parenthood. I delight in donning a traditional saree and beautiful jewelry for the evening puja. However, this year, my Mehandi won’t be elaborate but simple, as I need my hands free to care for my little one. I won’t be fasting fully but will observe other religious rituals. My mother will be there to assist me, and my husband might join me in fasting, but we’ll decide when the day arrives (laughs).”

Monsoon is the favourite season of many however it also brings with it a fair share of skincare challenges. The increased humidity and dampness can lead to various skin issues, from acne to dehydrated skin. To keep the skin happy, plump, and glowing, &TV artists share their best-kept secret for monsoon skincare regimes. These include #GeetanjaliMishra (#Rajesh, #HappuKiUltan altan), #Manisha Arora (#Mahua, #DoosriMaa), and #VidishaSrivastava (#AnitaBhabi, #BhabijiGharPar Hai). Geetanjali Mishra, the new Rajesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, “My skin becomes more sensitive than usual during the monsoon season. It becomes greasy, resulting in acne, clogged pores, blackheads, and whiteheads. To combat this, the home cure I use is a face pack made from Pomegranate seeds, which are high in anti-ageing ingredients like antioxidants and vitamin C, which rejuvenate dull skin. I combine two teaspoons of pomegranate seeds and one cup of raw oats. Pour into a mixing bowl with two tablespoons of honey and buttermilk. Apply for a few minutes on my face, then rinse. It aids in the removal of dead skin cells, the rejuvenation of the skin, and the removal of excess oil.”

Manisha Arora, aka Mahua from Doosri Maa, shares, “Monsoon is all about pleasant feelings and having fun while drenching in the rain in the middle of nature. But all of this affects your skin, so it is critical to protect it. I use a homemade scrub twice a week to exfoliate my skin. The scrub contains some oatmeal, orange peel and red lentil powder mixed with the help of rose water. I apply it on the skin until semi-dry. Then I scrub my face for a few minutes before washing it with ice water. The results are stunning. I highly recommend this to all readers who want to keep their skin glowing.” Vidisha Srivastava, aka Anita Bhabi from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, “Monsoon season can be harsh on our skin, and with so much moisture all around, it’s critical to keep it clean and fuss-free. That is why I like to utilise my skincare routine. A simple yet effective facial scrub made with two teaspoons of sea salt, one tablespoon of fresh lemon juice, and a few drops of olive oil is my go-to solution for a clean and clear skin. I use this scrub to remove excess grime and oil from my face, leaving it refreshed and invigorated.”
