“The experience has been life-changing. I was skeptical and when I was called I told them that I am the wrong person because I don’t argue or fight, I won’t speak ill or fight with anyone. But I was like let’s do something out of my comfort zone. The experience has been great, I learned a lot and saw a lot. The way Salman sir used to make us understand things was so different. It was an amazing experience,” he said.

“Also, the show taught me a lot. The biggest lesson was to never underestimate people, it’s their nature to change every week for their own benefit and support. I am going to remember that always.” he added.

His eviction from the “Bigg Boss” house came as a big shock to everyone, but the young actor confessed that he quite expected it. He revealed, “After the Weekend Ka Vaar episode Salman Sir had left and we thought the episode was done, we were relaxed and we thought there wasn’t going to be an eviction. Suddenly, Bigg Boss called us into the living room, and said that the eviction will be done by housemates since the voting lines were closed. Everyone had made groups and I knew I was going to be evicted.”

“Priyanka (Chahar Choudhary) was very emotional but I was normal because I had expected it. I felt bad for her since I was her only friend in the house. I just hope she’s fine,” he added.

His fans were quite stunned by his eviction, and called it unfair. “No Ankit No Bigg Boss” was trending on Twitter with fans sharing their disappointments. He said he is grateful for all the love and support, and said, “Honestly, I didn’t believe that I would get so much love from the audience while I was inside the house. I am just the same as I was in the house. Usually, people find it to be a boring personality if you are not arguing or fighting, and I thought people would tell me that you didn’t do anything in the house. But when I came out I saw all the love and support and it was overwhelming.”

“The day people got to know I was getting evicted I was trending on Twitter with 2.5 million tweets. I have been trending as no.1 in the world. I don’t know how to express the love that I have been receiving. I am grateful,” he added.

While Ankit hopes to do good work in the future, he agreed that the credit somewhere goes to the reality show.

“Bigg Boss has opened new doors for me. I was trending no.1 on Twitter worldwide is a proof of that. I cannot even begin to express the feeling. I have no words. It definitely has opened new dimensions of success. My focus now is to do good work and I am hoping that something big will happen,” he said.

So what was the first thing that you did after coming out of the Bigg Boss house? “I slept without worrying about getting up early in the morning,” he concluded.

Ankit has definitely had his ups and downs in the reality show “Bigg Boss”, but who hasn’t? The show is all about showing the contestants in their weakest and strongest moments. However, when it comes to performing in the task or keeping the entertainment quotient high in the house, Ankit has outshined all other contestants. So it doesn’t make any sense when Bigg Boss makes sarcastic remarks on him or talks to him in a rude way. This has disturbed not just his fans but even “Bigg Boss 14” contestant Rahul Vaidya.

Last night, Rahul took to his Twitter account and posted, “Why is big boss so rude and sarcastic with Ankit ?? #BigBoss16”. Soon his tweet was flooded with replies from Ankit’s followers and even others who like his game. Let’s have a look on what a few of them had to say about this:

@THUNDER_4002: Bhai samjhdaar hai or ulta sidha nhi bolta. Agar aise hi bb sid ya asim ya Paras ko bolte ya aapko bolte to ek min main jawab mil jata ankit bas sunta hai.

@theUnsungTweety: Hmmmmm even I don’t like it. He is being used for whitewashing Priyanka.

@PayalRahulkar: Seriously #biasedbiggboss16 is obsessed with Ankit usko bs Ankit ki kmiya dikhti hai baki mandali to kuch bhi nahi krti unko kuch nahi kehta ghatiya bigboss.pta nahi kon hai iss saal bigboss ki awaaz me bohot hi jyadya neech level ki strategy apna rha hai.lagta hai Paise leta hai.

@piyaaaa3: Because biggboss khud mandli ke member h to wo to Ankit aur Priyanka ko hi target krege na. Because bb ko sumbul and nimrit alsi nhi lagte.sirf Ankit hi lagta h.

@varsha80166440: because biggboss is in mandali and supports only mandali.

@01_leena: Obsession and jealousy from the fact that how can someone still remain in peace of mind despite the mocking, continuous taunts. #BB16

@Siya_610: Simple bcoz vo khud mandali ka hissa h…. Sorry bhi to bolte h naa vo mandali ke members ko.

@kashish_v_here: Bigg Boss Ankit se darta hai kyuki wo Bigg Boss ki pol khol deta hai har baar
#BB16

@jkmusafir: Agree.he is a calm and composed and playing with dignity. All they want is drama.

@rabina_ayesha: Because Ankit can read the game and predict the results.BB is feeling threatened.

In yesterday’s episode the star cast of Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus team came to promote their film and they played a game with the house mates.
The task started with Ankit. Ranveer Singh says “Ankit se shuru karte hai aapke mann mai Priyanka ke liye jo bhi taarefein hai bayan kijiye”(Whatever praises you have for Priyanka, express that).

Ankit explains, “Priyanka mere liye kya hai mai yeh sabdon mai bayaan nahi kar sakta hu. Aur hamara jo rishta hai woh koi samajh nahi paayega kyuki yeh dilse dilka rishta hai.” After listening Priyanka is shocked and happy and tells him, “tujhe nazar na lage. Tu hamesha aisa hi rahe.”

Yesterday Ankit also got lots of attention for his style and dressing. During the current task when he removed his jacket, his swag in a white shirt has won several praises. Superstar Ranveer Singh was also impressed with Ankit for his phenomenal performance in yesterday’s Electrocution task.

Talking about Priyanka Chaudhary as Tejo said, “I have always been a fan of weddings. I remember whenever a close one got married, I would go on a never-ending shopping spree! I feel that along with all the dance and celebration, picking the perfect outfit for weddings is the most important and exciting part too. So, when Isha and I were told about the upcoming wedding track, we were both super excited, and we decided to pick our own wedding dresses.”

Talking about Isha Malviya who plays Jasmine said, “Both Priyanka and I are die-hard shopaholics, and we love traditional dresses. Priyanka and I had this thought almost at the same time when our director told us about the wedding sequence, that we would select our dresses. We were both overjoyed and spent hours with our designer planning the perfect look. It was as if I was shopping for my wedding! But we are both really happy with our outfits, which are absolutely stunning and perfectly bring out the flavour of Punjab. I can’t wait for the viewers to check them out and get inspired, hopefully, for their wedding!”

The characters in the show are very well defined and the actors have really gone the extra mile to do justice to these beautifully written characters. Ankit Gupta who plays Fateh, a boxer, said it was quite taxing physically to get into the role of a boxer. He observed the body language of professional athletes and their style to slip into the skin of his character.

Commenting on this Ankit Gupta as Fateh said, “My character in the show is very different from any previous work I have done in the past. While there are a lot of similarities between me and my character, the only major difference is boxing! Fateh’s character has helped me learn a new skill. Boxing is a very challenging sport and it requires a lot of physical and mental stamina. I started training for boxing everyday on the set by watching youtube videos. While the training was painful, I am happy with the results and I hope the viewers will appreciate my efforts.”

Post the kidnapping sequence and the drama surrounding it, the audience was in for a sweet and romantic treat as Karan – Preeta surprised everyone with a romantic dance sequence. While the audience seems to adore Karan and Preeta’s onscreen jodi, another adorable onscreen couple that has caught the viewer’s attention is Shristi (Anjum Fakih) and Sameer’s (Abhishek Kapur) jodi. The duo looks sizzling together and their chemistry is something viewers love to watch. While they share a great bond onscreen, Abhishek Kapurand Anjum Fakih have developed a great camaraderie off-screen as well. However, did you know that they weren’t friends initially. In fact, having started their relationship on a strictly professional note, they didn’t become friends for nearly a year. Lately, the duo has started to bond a lot and have become extremely close buddies.

Talking about their equation, Abhishek Kapur who plays the role of Sameer in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya revealed, “I have massive respect for Anjum. I remember when I shot my first scene with her for Kundali Bhagya, she made me feel extremely comfortable as I was quite nervous. In the beginning, our bond was limited to professional note and it was strictly a formal equation. Anjum and I weren’t friends for nearly six to seven months after we started shooting. We never even got the chance to hang out with each other. However, our friendship became stronger during the second year of Kundali Bhagya as we started to know each other and chill with each other. I have spent lot of time with Anjum off-screen now and we really enjoy together a lot and are the best of friends.

Anjum Fakih also added, “Abhishek, I feel is very reserved as a person and it takes him time to get comfortable, especially in new environments. Me being the bang opposite of him, helped ease out the situation for both of us. While initially we never got to hang out, I only had immense respect and love for Abhishek, and I admired working with him. He’s such a great actor and he has been slaying in the role of Sameer. I must say that our bond started getting stronger once we started to spend time with each other off screen and I enjoy Abhishek’s company a lot. He’s very entertaining and fun to be around and I consider him one of my closest friends.”

While Anjum and Abhishek bond offscreen, their equation in Kundali Bhagya is also getting stronger by the day. After PreeRan’s marriage, what will happen ShrishMeer’s life? To know more, tune into Kundali Bhagya every Monday to Saturday at 9:30 pm on Zee TV.

Kundali Bhagya will see the introduction of Prithvi’s (played by Sanjay Gagnani) younger brother Pawan, this coming week and he will take the Luthra family by storm. Versatile actor Ankit Gupta has bagged this cameo role on the show. Like Prithvi, this new character is also grey, and we are sure the audience will be surprised after this handsome hunk enters the show and causes nuisance for the widely adored jodi of Karan and Preeta by teaming up with Sherlyn and Mahira.

Talking about his entry, Ankit Gupta shared, “I feel immensely blessed that I am a part of such a popular show on TV. This is the first time I am collaborating with Zee TV and I’m beyond excited. Stepping into a show as popular as Kundali Bhagya indeed comes with its own set of responsibilities and I hope I’m able to live up to that. As an actor I’m looking forward to playing the role of Pawan. Though the character is on the grey side, I’m quite ecstatic as I have always wanted to play a slightly negative character as it provides me with a lot of opportunity to play around and demonstrate my acting prowess. I’m really looking forward to my entry and I hope I can keep the audience at the edge of their seats after creating havoc in Karan and Preeta’s life.”

To watch Ankit Gupta’s thrilling entry and what follows, tune into Kundali Bhagya every Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm on Zee TV.
