Ansh Bagri says, ‘Asha Negi was too much into the skin of the character and ended up slapping me’

Celebrated TV actress Asha Negi is all set to play a modern city girl alongside Ansh Bagri in Hungama Play’s upcoming original romantic comedy show, Love Ka Panga. A unique take on modern love and romance, the show will feature Ansh playing Sumit, a Harayanvi desi chhora while Asha Negi will be playing Neha, a sophisticated girl from Delhi. Shot in the beautiful mountains of Manali, Love ka Panga follows the two characters as a series of unplanned meetings bring them together in a way neither had imagined. While the shoot was largely fun for everyone involved, Ansh Bagri recalls an incident when Asha Negi slapped him harder than she intended to.

Speaking about the incident, Ansh Bagri said, “Yes, we were shooting a scene that features our respective characters drunk and stumbling on the way to their respective rooms. An accidental tumble makes Sumit, my character fall on top of Neha and she slaps him reactively. Asha was probably too much into the skin of the character and ended up slapping me a little harder than she probably should have. Almost seconds later, she snapped out of her character and immediately started apologizing. It turned out to be a hilarious situation and I’m glad we can laugh about it now.”

Directed by Nitesh Singh and produced by ABUZS Original, Love ka Panga is scheduled to release on 15^th October and will be available to stream on Hungama Play and partner networks.

It begins with Ram Kapoor hinting at playing his second plot by showing how Indraneil’s posting as an officer would always have some virgin women missing, but where? How and why? What would happen to them? Abhay tries and puts all the pieces together, but is unable to.

The secret is revealed as it’s shown that the officer would share a romantic experience with those women and then kill them and have a delightful bath with their blood and also bathe his mother in it. Well, you’re thinking the reason? It’s an age old secret of staying young forever that they believe in.

You will also see Asheema Vardhan in a never seen before character, playing a schizophrenic. You will realise that she will not come across as a deviant person at all, in fact you may feel bad for her situation.

Will Abhay be able to track the killer? Will he trust Ram Kapoor? Who is the mysterious woman killing men? So many questions with all the answers in the upcoming episodes. The team is planning a really twisted end, something viewers cannot even imagine.

The promo shows her playing a very strong character in the series who plays the role of a strong and outspoken investigative journalist covering crime field cases on the go. After the successful first season, ZEE5 and ALT Balaji recently dropped the teaser and trailer of unusually romantic love story, Baarish season 2. While the first season saw how love brewed between them, in Baarish 2, different aspects of their relationship will be shown. The new season will revolve around how their relationship turns tumultuous and leads to an eventual separation. The trailer as expected received an overwhelming response. The starcast has personally been receiving a great response on social media as well from friends and family.

When asked Asha Negi about the response and how excited she is for season 2, Asha shares, “We are very excited for season 2, we feel that season 2 is definitely going to be a better product than season one. Though it received a lot of appreciation and love from the audience but we had to build the character and also season one was raw. Season 2 will be more interesting in terms of stories, connections etc. I’m sure S2 will also be loved by the audience too. The show will be out in a day and I’m very nervous and excited at the same time.”
