Anil Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, shower praise on Netflix India’s Sakshi Tanwar starrer ‘Mai’!

Ever since its release, the #Netflix India series ‘#Mai’ has taken audiences by storm. The show has made people sit up and take notice of its gripping plot and powerful performances. 10 days since its release, ‘Mai’ is still at the number one spot on Netflix India’s trending web series in India. In addition to receiving great reviews from audiences, ‘Mai’ is being lauded by tinseltown’s own. Bollywood star #AnushkaSharma took to instagram to shower praise for the ‘Mai’ team. She shared Mai’s poster and wrote, “Kudos to the team! #1 on @netflix_in.” The actress further tagged her brother and producer #KarneshSsharma, series creator #AtulMongia, lead director Anshai Lal and the production company Clean Slate Filmz”. Celebrated actor #AnilKapoor who’s worked with Sakshi Tanwar before otook to his Twitter handle and Instagram stories over the weekend, “Congratulations on the huge success of #Mai to one of finest actresses of our country #SakshiTanwar, and the entire team behind & in front of the camera!” Taking to Instagram, actor Ram Kapoor also gave a shout out to his #BadeAccheLagteHain co-star. as he shared a photo in which he pointed at a screen featuring Sakshi in Mai. He captioned the post, “Sakshi!!! Looking awesome !!! All the best my darling … I know you’re going to ROCK IT!!” Produced by Karnesh Ssharma of Clean Slate Filmz, the project also stars Seema Pahwa, Vivek Mushran, Wamiqa Gabbi, Anant Vidhaat, Raima Sen, Ankur Ratan and Prashant Narayan. Mai released on Netflix on April 15.

Shubhaavi Choksey to play Ram Kapoor’s mother in Sony’s ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2’!

#EktaKapoor’s announcement on the second season of the most loved show, #BadeAccheLagteHain has caugt the eyes of many. Stepping into the shoes of the highly loved on-screen jodi – Ram and Priya, well-known actors Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar will be seen helming the show. Highlighting complex dynamics of two individuals in their mid-thirties and capturing the urban loneliness, the show will encapsulate this and much more.

Not only centered around the two protagonists but also their families, playing a pivotal role in the show is actor Shubhaavi Choksey. Known to portray various roles in the television space and, also making it to the big screen with her stint in ‘Dhadak,’ Shubhaavi is set to play the role of Ram Kapoor’s step-mother, Nandini.

Talking about this announcement, Shubhaavi Choksey shares, “Bade Acche Lagte Hain is a show that has managed to successfully change the flow of how viewers looked at television shows back then. I cannot express how happy I am to come onboard and be a part of this amazing project and join this franchise. Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2, starts 30th August, and then every Monday to Friday at 8:00 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.

‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’ season 2 in the offing, EKTA Kapoor confirms!

#EktaKapoor took to her social media yesterday where she posted an #IGTV of herself in conversation with two of the most loved TV actors #SakshiTanwar and #RamKapoor. The phenomenal actors who were the protagonists of #BadeAccheLagteHain, a show that took the TV world by storm, were loved & appreciated for their impeccable performance.

Breaking the news of season 2, Ekta Kapoor mentioned that there is a whole generation that’s not seen this story and they don’t know that urban loneliness is a thing and hence the reason for Bade Acche Lagte Hai to be retold. When asked about the new cast, Ekta mentioned that the female protagonist of BALH – season 2 is as pretty as Sakshi however the male protagonist looks nothing like Ram Kapoor! However we will have to wait for the promo to know the cast!
