The iconic #LuvKushRamlila at Lal Quila, celebrated for its stunning grandeur and lively atmosphere, once again captivated the capital, drawing thousands of devotees and fans eager to witness the epic tale of Lord Ram’s victory. This year’s event was made even more special by the presence of &TV’s beloved and popular #BhabijiGharParHai actors, #AasifSheikh aka #VibhutiNarayanMishra and Rohitashv Gour aka Manmohan Tiwari. The talented artists not only attended the celebrations but also became a highlight of the festivities, much to the audience’s delight. Aasif Sheikh, who has strong ties to Delhi, was touched by the city’s warm welcome.

Expressing his joy, Aasif Sheikh aka Vibhuti Mishra shared, “Every time I return to Delhi, it feels like a homecoming. Being part of the Ramlila is truly humbling, and the energy here is electric! As a child, I watched this very Ramlila from the audience, dreaming of being on stage. To now stand here as a guest of honour is surreal. This experience was made even more special with my co-star, Rohitashv Gour, by my side. We indulged in some of Delhi’s beloved traditions, from enjoying the delicious chhole bhature to exploring the lively local markets. Although I usually stick to a strict diet, I couldn’t resist making an exception today. Delhi always wins when it comes to food. I might be disciplined about my diet, but here, all bets are off! I had to enjoy the chaat and other street delicacies, though I tried to keep the portions in check (laughs). The memories I’m taking home will always be special. Delhi has once again captured my heart.”

Rohitashv Gour aka Manmohan Tiwari, reflecting on his bond with the city, shared how nostalgic this visit had been. He said, “Delhi holds a special place in my heart. The moment we stepped on stage, the crowd’s roar gave me chills. The love we received from fans was truly magical. The Luv Kush Ramlila is an unparalleled experience. The scale of the production, the audience’s energy, and the way this city celebrates its traditions are awe-inspiring. I will always cherish my connection with Delhi, and this trip has been unforgettable. Celebrating the Luv Kush Ramlila, one of the country’s largest and most renowned Ramlila events, with Aasif Ji added an extra spark to the festivities. Fans couldn’t get enough of us as they mingled, took photos, and shared memories, all while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. During my time at the National School of Drama, I was so focused on my craft that I rarely explored the city. But coming back with Aasif Ji, who is like the perfect tour guide, has been a wonderful experience.”

‘BGPH’ Producer Sanjay Kohli opines, ‘Comedy will never go out of fashion’!

#BhabijiGharParHain (#BGPH) producer #SanjayKohli feels that comedy will always be in demand. “Bhabiji… has always focused on the storyline and subtle humor. From day 1 all the habits/, nuances for the characters got into the hearts of audiences. Comedy is something which has a feel good factor and makes you happy,” he said.

The show constantly gets awards. Talking about its popularity, he said, “Hardworking is the only investment that never fails. The character and situations are very real. It is like knowing your neighbor’s life. The popularity of the show gives me a high. We get messages on social media about how the show brings happiness to the audience.According to him, every producer wants his or her show to do well.

“My better half Binaiferr Kohli, the writers and the channel all have contributed in making it successful,” he said about the &TV show. Trends in comedy keep evolving. “Comedy will never go out of fashion. The subtle and real comedy always appeals to audiences’ sensibilities and heart. Give them day-to-day experiences, and audiences start loving the story. Forced comedy is not accepted. One can watch a comedy show anytime, even if you have not been following the show, you can enjoy any episode,” said Kohli.

“BGPH” actor Rohitashv Gour says, ‘As an actor, it is a relaxation when I go to a new location, new set’!

#Binaiferr and #SanjayKohli’s popular show #BhabijiGharParHai (#BGPH) is back to shooting mode. The show has shifted to a new location recently to shoot new episodes. #ManmohanTiwari (#RohitashvGour) shares how excited he is to start shooting again. He says,” I am a workaholic and it is good to be back on set. For an actor, it is a relaxation when we go to a new location, new set. The new location is full of greenery which propels one’s thinking. Last year when the lockdown was announced, we never thought there would be a second wave and another lockdown. So for an actor it is a second setback. No one wants to be sitting idle at home. An actor’s job is to go to the set and work.”

He also adds,”I would also like to praise our producers Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli for the way they have visioned this new normal. It is amazing. We had enough bank of episodes so we could wait and start our shooting later. Otherwise, we would have to start early like others at the peak of the pandemic. We all should get the vaccines first and then build hard immunity to face this disease. Making episodes for the future and creating a bank is really a commendable job done by our producers.”

Talking about his own comfort factor as an actor, he adds,”As an individual I have no problem in shooting. Last year post lockdown when we have resumed I was scared a bit. But this time I am aware of the problem and the consequences so I am doubly cautious and taking good care of myself. Which is the need of the hour.. Producers have made excellent arrangements” The new location will have Anokhelal Saxena’s birthday celebrations taking place in a resort. Rohotashv Gour, Shubhangi Atre and Aasif Sheikh share a great bond offscreen as well.
