Himansh Kohli makes sure to reinvent his look regularly!

#HimanshKohli who will soon be seen in the film #BoondiRaita, says that he makes sure to reinvent his look regularly as it helps him stay relevant. The actor says that this is very important in showbiz.

“The quote is, ‘change is inevitable, and I also like to experiment with how I look, so I keep changing it as per the trend or my liking. I also have an innate hunger for learning and adapting to new things; one has to keep reinventing to stay relevant. One of the finest examples is Anil Kapoor Sir, who has been growing younger each day,” he says.

He adds, “It is quintessential if you want to show versatility. Changing your look is an expression that you are comfortable picking up various roles and the transition involved in the process of adapting to a certain character.”

He is often touted as someone who has a great fashion sense, and Himansh says that such praise always makes him happy. “That’s pleasing to know every time I hear it. I care about how I look but don’t fuss over it to the point that it becomes the only thing in me. I give equal importance to other traits that make for a good personality, like communication, presence, being relevant, and more. I think I stand out because I never hesitate to try to experiment with my look; I wear socially-acceptable and bizarre outfits with the same conviction,” he says.

Ask him what his idea of fashion is, and he says, “The only mantra I have regarding fashion is comfort. I always pick a good-feel outfit over a good-look outfit. It reflects poorly on your personality if you aren’t comfortable with what you’re wearing. There’s an imprint of your personality in everything that you do, and the decisions we make on a day-to-day basis results in who we become. Fashion is a reflection of the state of your mind. It is very much possible to understand someone’s psyche just by looking at them and noticing these minute non-verbal cues.”

Talking about his colour preferences, Himansh says, “I wear it all—pink and yellow are my favourite. I even like to wear contrasting outfits without thinking much about the combination.”

Meanwhile, trolling has become very common now, especially when it comes to clothes. But he doesn’t pay much heed to it. “I know it’s difficult to witness such negativity about you even when you’re all about good vibes, but we should not bother ourselves with an appreciation or dismal as everyone thinks from their point-of-view and it might not always be in tandem with your perspective. We should be aware of what’s being talked about from a constructive POV only,” he says.

He adds, “I turn off the comments if it’s off the edge, and I engage only with people I know. I also don’t shy away from confronting people and giving them a flavour of my opinion.”

Actor Himansh Kohli is elated to be back on the sets, resumes the shoot of Boondi Raita!

Actor #HimanshKohli has finally started shooting for his next #BoondiRaita, in #Dehradun and the young actor is extremely happy with the development. He started shooting at the end of November. Himansh is playing Baggu’s role in the film and his life has a backdrop of Dehradun.

So how does it feel to be back on the film set again?
Himansh says,”Throughout the lockdowns, I kept on wishing that the postponed shoot may get resumed asap. I can’t tell you how elated I feel that I’m finally back on the set. It was a long break and covid made it even longer. Also, while this break has given us more time to refine the film, the hype of the film has also taken a hit which we will need to create again. I feel the most important trait of any actor apart from the basics like acting, looks, dance, etc. is patience. Every aspect of a film takes time and while sometimes you can contribute and act as a catalyst, there are times when all you got to do is wait. The only way I am able to keep my patience is by being positive and staying in regular touch with the crew to understand what’s going on in their mind. Interestingly Himansh has done some amazing music videos in the last few months. Tenu Vekhi Javaan, Main Jis Bhulaa Du, Wafa Na Raas Aayi, Bewafa Tera Muskurana, Dil Galti Kar Baitha Hai, Chura Liya all the music videos have done exceptionally well.

He says, ”I have been lucky to bag a role in some really amazing songs, which have helped me stay relevant and given me the opportunity to be seen and noticed when almost the entire market was at a halt. I would like to thank Bhushan Kumar Ji here for having faith in me that I’d be able to pull it off.”

About being cautious around the sets, he said, “I am super-careful especially since the news about Omicron virus detection in India came out. I can’t risk myself to reinfection and I wouldn’t let anyone in my vicinity be callous about this. We have seen really dark times during the 1st and 2nd waves when the country got burnt with the fire from the innumerable pyres. I’m happy that it is history now and I will take every measure to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

Boondi Raita is the story of a small-town boy whose life is a mess. Sometimes it’s about his career , sometimes it’s about his relationships, and then sometimes it’s about his family. But, the good part is that the mess is wholesome and has all the flavours in it. The beat part of BR is it’s a family movie where everyone will relate to some or the other character and it is so real you’ll feel like it’s a tale of your own household.

‘Boondi Raita’ is directed by Kamal Chandra. The film also features Sonnalli Seygall, Ravi Kishan and Rajesh Sharma, Alka Amin, Ishlin Prasad, Neeraj Sood and Naresh Vohra in key roles.

On her birthday, Sonnalli Seygall bootcamps in Kalimpong!

Actress Sonnalli Seygall loves indulging in fitness and rejuvenation excursions from time to time. She had spent a lot of time on Kerala earlier this year, where she engaged in enriching yoga experience. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Jai Mummy Di actress is currently attending a bootcamp in Kalimpong. Interestingly, she will also spend her birthday there.

Given the current situation, my shoots got stalled and that left me with a lot of free time. So I came to my home state, West Bengal. There’s a small town here called Kalimpong. It’s very secluded and it has a beautiful weather. I’m working on my body and mind and trying to use this time constructively. So this bootcamp seemed like a great activity,” says the actress.

Last year, Sonnalli spent her birthday with her family at her Mumbai home. It was a lockdown birthday. This year, she decided to gift herself a body and mind healing experience. *Talking about the activities she has been indulging in, the actress says, “I’ve been doing kickboxing, yoga, meditation and HIIT. I’ve been going for some short, but hectic treks. So it’s helping me keep my mind and body healthy. I also plan to visit a couple of monasteries and chant with the monks. I plan to dedicate one chanting session for the world to get rid of the pandemic*

Meanwhile, Sonnalli recently revealed that she would be travelling to Haridwar soon, where she’d be shooting for her upcoming film, Boondi Raita.

Himansh Kohli shares his painful Covid-19 experience!

‘Boondi Raita’ actor Himansh Kohli and his family battled Covid-19 in September last year, and it was very painful to say the least. He said, “It started like a normal flu with fever but then came the worst part, severe bodyache, body chills, and throat pain.”

“What followed next was losing my smell, taste accompanied with dizziness. But with proper medication and some home remedies, I started feeling better in a week’s time,” he added. The actor, who will soon be seen romcom “Boondi Raita”, shared that at that time his mother used to make homemade herbal tea for them, and added, “We did not like the taste of it but we knew we have to have all those ingredients so that our body fights the virus.”

The “Yaariyan” actor took both the doses of Covid-19 vaccination in March this year. He suggested that everyone should get it, and said, “Once the vaccination drive started, my parents and I got it. Everyone should take it now because it will at least provide some protection to you and help you fight. ” Himansh also revealed that he had gained some weight during the first lockdown, but it worked well for him as at that time he was supposed to feature in the music video “Main Jis Din Bhulaa Du”. He said, “In this song also, I had to gain a little weight to look like a retro hero.”

On the work front, his new song “Wafa Na Raas Aayee” released on Friday (April 23). He plays a Kashmiri boy in the song, who is left heartbroken after the love of his life leaves me.

Apart from doing a film with Rajkumar Hirani, Himansh Kohli wants to take part in Formula One racing too!

While revealing his wish list ‘Yaariyan’ actor Himansh Kohli said that he wants to act in a Rajkumar Hirani film and wants to drive a Formula One car on a professional race track. The pandemic and the subsequent lockdown last year had put life on hold, brought a bad time upon the world, but there have been some positive effects too says Himansh Kohli. The Yaariyan actor, who prefers finding good in everything, highlights the constructive changes that made our lives better.

“I think hygiene has improved more than anything else. Earlier we used to merely clean the surface but now many of us are properly sanitizing everything. This practice not only prevents Covid-19 but also kills a lot of other bacteria and viruses,” he says. Personally, Kohli feels his respect towards food too has increased multi-folds after he started cooking for himself during the lockdown.

“Now I have definitely more respect for the effort that goes into getting your grocery, preparation and I have also become more watchful about not wasting anything. The third and the most important thing would be how I have started appreciating spending time with myself. Earlier, most of my free time was spent chilling with friends. While at home I also would work out by myself and explore new formats to stay fit, without relying on the physical presence of trainers or coaches,” he adds.

Urging everyone to be careful and follow all norms at a time when cases are on the rise and the government fearing a second wave, Kohli shares that it’s time we understand our responsibilities better. “The pandemic is not over yet and many people are still suffering… Please take care, be cautious and abide by all the safety measures,” says the actor, who is busy with his upcoming film Boondi Raita.

While the actor is considering other web and film offers, there are two must-do things in his wish list that he hopes will be fulfilled soon given that the pandemic has made us face the truth once again that life is unpredictable. “I want to act in a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, I’m a huge fan of his work. My second wish is to be a part of a Formula One Race. Driving a Formula One car on a professional race track would be thrilling and an experience of a lifetime,” he adds

Himansh, who was recently seen in a music video “Main Jis Din Bhulaa Du”, says he has learnt to find happiness in his own growth both as a person and an actor, besides taking pleasure in smaller things. “Things that give me happiness are working on myself, observing my transformations whether it’s my physique or my skills, or me as a human being, little things like my cup of coffee and a good view. I also enjoy spending time with Donut who’s the closest to me when I’m away from family,” the actor, who has been eagerly waiting to commence shooting for his upcoming film “Boondi Raita”,” adds.

Well, it’s the simplest of things that bring joy to Himansh.

Himansh Kohli takes both doses of Covid-19 vaccine in Dubai!

Actor Himansh Kohli has already been vaccinated against Covid-19. The actor took the first vaccine on February 5 and took the second shot on March 7. He confesses being apprehensive going for it in the first place.

“I won’t deny that in the beginning, I was hesitant. Such decisions take time. I don’t think one should hurry too. So I took my time as well and gained trust as I started reading about it. The virus is much worse anyway. At least the vaccine is providing us protection, so why not go for it is what I thought,” he says. The Yaariyaan actor took the vaccine in Dubai. He has a home there. Sharing his experience of taking the vaccine shots, he adds, “I felt sick for a day when the first dose was given. And even for a couple of hours after the second dose. But, you slowly start feeling better and much confident later thinking how Covid-19 can’t affect you anymore.”

Meanwhile, the actor will be seen next in Boondi Raita. The film directed by Kamal Chandra, also starring Sonnalli Seygall and Ravi Kishan, is expected to go on floors soon. which will go on floor soon. Kohli plays the lead part in the comedy.

Bollywood actor Himansh Kohli, who was recently seen in a music video titled “Main Jis Din Bhulaa Du”, has a very bold take on love and romance. For Himansh, “Love is a place of comfort and honesty.”

He stressed that love should make one feel free and not imprisoned by their partner. When asked for his idea of romance, the “Boondi Raita” actor said, “Romance, for me, is lying in someone’s arms without being captive in them.”

His song “Main Jis Din Bhulaa Du”, which has been crooned by Jubin Nautiyal and Tulsi Kumar, also features Sneha Namanandi. It is a tribute to Lata Mangeshkar and Amit Kumar’s original song, and revolves around a couple who dreamt of featuring on the big screen together, and his they had to part ways to make that dream come true.

Himansh has earlier also featured in music videos like “Oh Humsafar”, “Tera Sheher” and “Tenu Vekhi Jaavan”. All his music videos were love songs, asked if there is any particular inclination towards the romantic genre, he said, “I think the genre has picked me more than I have picked it, doing romantic songs back to back has established me in that regard.”

“But I do wish to explore other genres especially how ‘Main Jis Din Bhulaa Du’ has given me a chance to show more than before,” he concluded.
