“Working on TV has its own share of pros and cons”, says Ishaan Singh Manhas!

He also opines on the trends he has noticed in recent times and if he thinks with the passage of time TV content has grown too or not.

“Working in the TV industry has its own share of pros and cons. We actors get fame, money and also have a positive impact in the society through the characters we play and the stories we become a part of. But at the same time because it’s a daily soap, we don’t get much breaks. Our schedule is unpredictable and sometimes we work even when we are not well. Taking holidays or travelling out of town becomes difficult as well,” he says.

Speaking on the trends and content that he has witnessed, the actor takes some time to think before sharing his opinion.

“Trends in the TV industry, as far as content is concerned, is that now there is more focus on Women Empowerment and also the storytelling has become progressive. For example, in the past there were stories where a wife wants her cheating husband to come back to her, but in the content shown today, that same wife will rather leave her husband and move on in life. The popular TV show Anupamaa is an example,” he adds.

Team Jhund was seen dancing and enjoying on the beats of Dhol Tasha in Pune, the grand premiere was attended by family, friends and dignitaries from the entertainment industry along with Nagraj Manjule, actors Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru and Music director Ajay-Atul.

Jhund is a unique tale that exhibits the journey of a football coach and his team, a coach who aims to bring in the underprivileged kids from difficult backgrounds together giving them a fresh motive to survive and transform their life.

Dangal TV’s Aye Mere Humsafar completes 100 episodes.

Mumbai,29 December, 2020:The number of episodes that a show covers is one of the most important ways to monitor the amount of love the show has received. The milestone numbers also excite the cast and crew and motivate them to work even harder. Today, Dangal TV’s Aye Mere Humsafar reached a milestone of completing 100 episodes.

The show started immediately after the lockdown restrictions eased with all the pre-production process done over zoom calls. The whole cast was delighted as there were a lot of efforts taken to complete 100 episodes. The did a small celebration to mark this day by cutting the cake on the sets with the whole team.

Tina Philip who plays the lead in the show says, “We are really grateful for all the love we have received for our show. I always think positive and used to think that our show should complete 100 episodes and today is the day so we are really happy. If we think positively, things will come true. And we are really thankful for our production and Dangal TV for giving us such a huge opportunity.”

The hard work, dedication and understanding in the team has left a positive impact on the audience and hence the show has received overwhelming response in this time period. Aye Mere Humsafar has become a family as they enjoy a lot on the sets. They all share a good chemistry and entertain the audience fully.

Ayushmann Khurrana is desperately missing Family New Year celebration

As the world is gearing up to say good bye to the traumatic 2020 and welcome new year with loads of hopes, actor Ayushmann Khurrana is rueing about not been able to spend time with family during New Year celebration for almost a decade. ‘It’s been a decade since I last spent New Year with family in Chandigarh’, says Ayushmann Khurrana who is looking forward to meeting his family post his film ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ wraps up.

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana is currently in Chandigarh shooting for his next, a progressive love story titled Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. Despite shooting in his hometown, the actor is staying in a hotel to protect his parents and family from the deadly coronavirus and is dearly missing being with them. As soon as he wraps the film’s shoot, Ayushmann will be doing necessary tests before celebrating Christmas and New Year with them!

Ayushmann reveals, “It’s been a decade since I last spent New Year with family in Chandigarh. I will be fortunate to spend Christmas and New Year with them this year and I know it will be priceless.”

Post the pandemic lockdown, Ayushmann flew to Chandigarh to be with his family and has also found time to properly catch up with his friends. He says, “Since the lockdown lifted, we have been in Chandigarh and we have made amazing memories with each other. I have been able to catch up with my full family, my friends from school and college as well as some of my teachers, so I’m going to deeply cherish the time I have spent in my hometown.”

Ayushmann is happy that his kids Virajveer and Varushka have managed to soak in Chandigarh and felt closer to their roots.

“I’m really happy that my kids got to spend time and live in Chandigarh because that’s where our roots are and I think they have had a blast. With the attention that they have got from our families and our friends, in the past few months, I think they are going to miss them dearly,” the versatile star says.

Ayushmann reveals that Christmas and New Year is going to be a super intimate affair for the Khurranas. He says, “We are going to do a simple get-together during New Year’s eve. I will be wrapping my shoot soon and I will have enough time to do my covid tests, get the reports and go home. I will be able to finally spend time with my family & hug them. I haven’t been able to do this because of my shoot. So, I think New Year will be a very intimate affair at the Khurrana’s and I’m looking forward to bringing in the new year with them.”

He adds, “2020 has taught us to concentrate on our priorities, on the things that bring us joy and I’m fortunate that I will have all the important pieces of my life under the same roof to celebrate New Year with.”
