Father’s Day is more than just a date on the calendar—it’s a heartfelt reminder of the love, guidance, and strength that fathers bring into our lives. As the world prepares to celebrate this special day, celebrities take a walk down memory lane, recalling cherished moments spent with their fathers. From childhood trips to life-changing lessons in resilience, discipline, and compassion, these stars open up about the invaluable role their fathers have played in shaping who they are today.

#NeelSamarthh : One of my favourite childhood memories with my father is our Sunday routine. He would take my brother and me out on his old Priya scooter, buy us dahi jalebi, and then we’d come back home and watch Ramayan together as a family. Looking back, I can proudly say that my father never let us feel the absence of anything. He worked tirelessly to give us a beautiful life — sacrificing his sleep, his peace of mind, and his own comfort just to make sure all our wishes were fulfilled. If there’s one thing I’ve truly learned from him, it’s this: no matter how tough life gets, never give up. His strength, his resilience, and his quiet confidence continue to inspire me. Even today, I often find myself wishing I had even 10 percent of the unshakable confidence my father carries within him.

#AadeshChaudhary : Father’s Day holds immense significance for me as it’s a day to express gratitude and appreciation for the love, support, and guidance my father has provided throughout my life. It’s an opportunity to celebrate his influence and acknowledge the sacrifices he’s made for our family. Some of my best memories with my father include spending quality time together, whether it’s playing sports, going on trips, or simply having conversations about life. His wisdom, patience, and encouragement have shaped many of my cherished memories. One of the biggest learnings from my dad is the importance of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. He taught me to stay grounded, be honest, and never give up on my dreams. These values have become a part of my daily life, and I strive to embody them in everything I do.

#ShivangiVerma : One of my favourite childhood memories with my dad is sitting on the scooter with him and going out for ice cream. It was such a small thing, but it meant the world to me. I felt so safe and happy just being with him. He always made time for me, no matter how busy he was.The one thing I’ve learnt from him is to never give up. He’s the most hardworking and patient person I know. He always tells me, “No matter how tough things get, stay strong and keep going.” That strength and calmness I’ve seen in him has shaped me into who I am today.

#RiddhimaSharma : I don’t believe that love for a father should be limited to just one day. For me, every day is Father’s Day. I share the best bond with my father, and being his daughter is my greatest joy. I celebrate our relationship every single day. One of my favorite memories is from his birthday on August 15th. I was in Delhi, and I gave him a surprise by decorating his car. I asked him to close his eyes, and when he saw the surprise, he got very emotional. We have so many beautiful memories together. I love his sense of humor—he’s always teasing me and making me laugh. Whenever we go to parties or the club together, he always keeps an eye on me, and I keep mine on him—that’s what I call true protection, love, and care. He is my real-life hero—not just for me, but for everyone. I honor him by being proud of him every day. He always tells me, ‘Beta, become someone people want to take a picture with. Before any profession, be a good human being.’ That advice has stayed with me forever. These are not just words to her but a principle she strives to live by every day. I always try to be kind to everyone, no matter how rude someone may be. Kindness is something I live by, thanks to him.

#PalashDutta : I was born in the 1970s, a time untouched by the constant buzz of social media. Back then, love was expressed differently. We didn’t wait for a special day. We showed our feelings in small, meaningful ways—handwritten notes, cards we drew ourselves, thoughtful little gifts. That was our celebration. There was nothing performative about it. My father has been living in the United States for nearly 25 years now. The physical distance and time zones created space between us, but our emotional bond never faded. There were no specific days or grand gestures through which I could express my love for him. But I’ve always known, deep within me, that he’s been the unshakable backbone of our family.Watching him, learning from him—it shaped who I am. Discipline, willpower, and honesty weren’t just values he taught me; they became the very foundation of how I live my life. From him, I’ve learned what it means to be resilient, to never give up, to treat everyone with love and compassion. If there’s one legacy I want to carry forward, it’s this: to be a man of principles, to uphold dignity and integrity, and most importantly, to stay self-reliant, especially in the face of adversity.

#IndraxiKanjilal : My father has always been there for us—steadfast and dependable—just like a tree that offers shade without asking for anything in return. I have so many cherished memories with my parents. As a family, we used to travel during the summer holidays when I was in school, and those trips are etched in my heart as some of the happiest times.Recently, I had the chance to travel with both my parents again, and we made some wonderful new memories. One of my absolute favorite things is watching a film together and then going out to eat—it’s such a simple joy, but it means the world to me. I still remember the day I got my first paycheck—I bought something for my father with it. That moment, that gesture, holds a very special place in my heart. From him, I’ve learned what it means to be mentally strong. He’s a man of deep principles and remarkable punctuality. These values—being disciplined, staying true to what’s right, and living with integrity—are the lessons I carry with me every day, all because of him.

#Thefestivalofcolours; #Holi is here, and these #celebrities cannot wait to #celebrate it with their near and dear ones! This is what they are doing this year!

Amit Das : I haven’t played Holi since childhood. In my childhood days, I used to be very scared of the colours. I avoid going out during Holi even today. But I have seen people enjoying it like anything. It has become a tradition, and has become more like 31st nights. But, Holi in Vrindavan, Shantiniketan is very different which is tremendously different with flowers. I know that as Holi comes, summer comes together.

Vaishali Made : For everyone, Holi is very important and full of happiness. Just like how people get together during Ganpati, all the families and friends get together to celebrate Holi too. It’s a very beautiful festival that takes place. For me, I have very beautiful memories from my childhood days. During my school days, we used to go to the ‘Khet’ and pick flowers which had colours in them. Then we used to boil the flowers and then we played with those colours. This memory is very special to me. We used to play with all the natural colours.

Simple Kaul : I love festivals in general and Holi is one of my favourite festivals. I play Holi with my close friends because they bring a lot of joy to me. Holi signifies unity, celebration with a lot of fun, enjoyment and family time. Festivals remind you of your strong roots. It reminds me of my family. I remember my childhood days that I spent with my family, neighbours. It used to be so much fun. We used full water balloons and threw them at random people and then ran away. We would surprise people with so many colours, water balloons and pichkari. In Delhi, Holi is celebrated in a great way. And obviously, not to forget the yummy sweets!

Sagar Parekh : I can’t help but feel the excitement building up. For me, it’s not just about the colours or the delicious food; it’s about celebrating the joy. This festival holds a special place in my heart, as it brings back memories of my childhood, with laughter and every face was painted with colours and happiness. When it comes to the food, oh, where do I even begin? From mouth-watering sweets like gujiya and malpua to savoury delights like samosas and chaat. As for celebrating, I plan to celebrate it, surrounded by loved ones, relishing every moment and every bite of those festive delicacies that make this day even more special.

Hemani Chawla : Well, Holi has always been the same for me, I stay away from my family, and I celebrate Holi with my friends here in Mumbai, we have this huge group of friends, and we usually gather at one of their places, for-starters we get a dhol, then the DJ takes over and after 7 hours of dancing we order food, we eat, we laugh and we leave for our respective homes. By the way, we also have our special Holi playlist. Well, when I was a child Holi used to be very simple, we all family members used to meet and just have a good time, when I was a little kid, I once got influenced by some colony friends and I started throwing balloons at people who were walking on the street.

Angad Hasija : So, whenever I hear about Holi, it brings back memories of my childhood. I was really young back then, and I used to fill up water balloons and secretly throw them at people because I was quite shy. This happened in Delhi, where we used to fill up a whole bucket with water and start playing Holi about ten days before the actual festival. Everyone would start throwing water balloons at each other, and it had its own charm. Nowadays, things are quite different, and kids don’t really engage in such activities anymore. However, my friends and I still like to get together during Holi, maybe have a cheat day where we indulge in some junk food or sweets. That’s our plan for this Holi.

Shubhangi Atre : This time, I’m really considering going to a Holi party somewhere; let’s see. Last time, I stayed home with my friends, but this time, I might go out to a party. I think Holi is a festival of colors, joy, happiness, dancing, and fun; it’s all about chaos, and that’s what makes Holi beautiful. However, I’m not a big fan of too much color; I prefer playing Holi with gulal and enjoying a rain dance. Yes, I don’t eat a lot, but I definitely enjoy the colors, fun, and maybe some bhang. I love dahi bhalle; my mom used to make amazing ones on Holi, along with gujiyas, jalebis, besan ke ladoos, chakli, and bhakarwadi. Back in childhood, Holi used to start in the morning and go on until night, and I would have to search for my parents to bring them home. I was quite mischievous and used to have a lot of fun. Though those days are over, I’ll still have a blast with a bit of rain dance, fun with friends, and maybe some bhang. So, Happy Holi to all of you. Have fun!

Monika Singh : This time, I’ll be celebrating Holi in Goa as it’s my friend’s birthday. Holi is one of my favorite festivals, and I enjoy playing pranks with my friends before heading to their homes to apply colors. Everyone in my group is scared of me. During Holi, we prepare shakarparas, Gujiyas, and Dahi Bhalle. All our friends and relatives come to our homes, and we welcome them with these festive treats.

Manjari Mishra : Holi is a festival of colors, signifying the victory of good over evil and a time for joy and rejuvenation. Personally, I don’t play Holi because of my shooting commitments. However, I do use herbal colors and apply just a small tikka. My favorite foods are definitely Gujiya and malpua; I love eating them all. I don’t usually eat many sweets, but Holi is an exception. As for childhood memories, I have so many. The colors weren’t as harsh back then. We used to play with watercolors, dry colors, and we used to play wildly. Our moms used to make us bathe for an hour afterward. But now, if we decide to play, we should do so with caution and be aware of all the precautions

Charrul Malik : I don’t have any plans for a big celebration because we already had a blast celebrating Holi on set, playing with colors and mud in a unique way. However, I personally don’t enjoy playing with colors much, so I prefer staying at home, enjoying sweets like Gujjiya, and wishing everyone over the phone. I’m not really into Holi parties or playing with colors much. Holi holds a lot of significance; it’s a vibrant festival that marks a new beginning as the seasons change. It’s particularly important to me because back in Chandigarh, we used to celebrate Holi with great enthusiasm during my childhood days. Those memories of throwing water balloons and playful banter are precious to me, even though times have changed, and we can’t celebrate in the same way anymore. The essence of the festival remains, but the way we celebrate has evolved. Now, I cherish the time I get to spend with my family during Holi; it’s more than just a celebration, it’s about creating memories and bonding with loved ones. Holi holds a special place in my heart because of the nostalgic memories it brings back, and I’m eagerly looking forward to it.

The post Tele-celebrities cannot wait to celebrate Holi with their near and dear ones! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

From not wasting water to using electric cars, #celebrities share the steps they take in saving mother earth.

Mohit Malhotra : We need to start making investments to protect the climate for the future. I once read that when the well is dry, we realise the value of water. So, before things get out of hand, we should take action. You are doing good deeds each time you carry out these simple duties. We are all aware of a variety of environmental issues that the world is now experiencing, with a lack of plants serving as one of the biggest causes of rising global temperatures. Planting and caring for trees is very important. I urge people to plant more trees, save water and take necessary actions that help deal with the environmental issues and ensure a better future for ourselves.

Rishina Kandhari : I believe that environmentally friendly vehicles will soon become a need rather than a choice. I personally drive an electric vehicle, which saves on petrol and reduces pollution. Earth Day should inspire us to pause and consider what we are doing to improve the sustainability, health, and happiness of our world.

Balraj Syal : As we all know, global warming has grown to be a serious issue. We must take all necessary measures to save our mother Earth. Let’s plant more trees since having greenery around us is important. I enjoy strolling around gardens, and the energy that we perceive from plants is refreshing. Connecting with nature is crucial; failing to do so presents quite real danger. We should keep some potted plants in our gardens and rooms, and we shouldn’t spit or leave trash lying around. People that act in such a way and are unaware of the consequences don’t even bother. The most significant task is conserving our resources. Water should be saved.

Simaran Kaur : For us, protecting the environment is more than just a duty. I believe that one may gradually inculcate environmentally responsible practices in order to save our home. You may make a great difference by doing something as simple as planting a tree or as radical as giving up your automobile and walking to your destination. As for me, if I’m not in a room, I never leave the lights or fans on. I’ve also given up using plastic. I don’t purchase new plastic containers; instead, I recycle my old ones. In fact, I always bring my cotton or jute bag when I go food shopping and advise my loved ones to do the same.

Monika Singh : The three basic things that we all must follow in our daily lives to conserve our environment are reduce, reuse and recycle. My personal initiative towards environmental conservation is reducing my carbon footprint by using public transportation or cycling, instead of driving a car, wherever possible. Awareness campaigns work as they help in educating people about environmental issues and motivate them to take action towards conservation. To save the planet, we need to take a holistic approach towards environmental conservation. This includes reducing carbon emissions, promoting renewable energy sources, protecting wildlife and their habitats, and reducing our dependence on single-use plastics. Governments, individuals and companies need to work together towards achieving sustainable solutions. Additionally, we also need to educate and create awareness amongst people on the importance of environmental conservation to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come.

Gaurav Singh : I am a nature-loving person. I love plants in general. My home is full of plants and flowers and every year the number is only growing. I look after them like my babies and maybe this is a small way I am contributing. I don’t use single-use plastics, switch off the electricity when it isn’t required, and avoid water wastage. Awareness campaigns really work in helping people understand their role. It may not have an instant impact but it will definitely bring about a change in years to come. Change starts from self. It’s important that we take measures and encourage our family members to do so.

Karishma Raj Soni : Protecting the environment absolutely requires a preservation of natural resources. I also water my indoor plants with the same water that I use to wash my vegetables since I feel that tiny actions may have a big impact. I feel that ecologically friendly automobiles will soon stop being a choice and turn into a necessity. On this day, I would like to request all of my admirers to conserve water and save lives. Earth Day should inspire us to take a moment to think about what we are doing to improve the environmental health and health of our world.

The post Tele-Celebrities feel that before things get out of hand, we should take action to conserve the earth! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

From their #favourite #SalmanKhan films to timeless performances in songs, these #celebrities share what they love about Salman Khan on his #birthday.

Karan Singh Chhabra: Yes totally! The songs are evergreen and his chemistry with Bhagyashree was so fresh and innocent. That was his first step towards mega-stardom. Every time ‘Oo oo Jaane Jaana’ song plays, you can only imagine a superfit shirtless Salman Khan dancing! He has been the reason for many to hit the gym and will always be the evergreen shirtless superstar of Bollywood. Dabangg remains my all-time favourite.

Ambuj Dixit: Salman Khan is the ultimate superstar. No one can match his sheer screen presence and aura when he comes on screen. Yes, he has inspired many including me to be dedicated to fitness. And not only fitness his sense of style, his rock star dressing, everything adds to it. I’m an alumnus of Whistling Woods and when I was there, I first saw Salman Khan at our film school gym working out during his shooting of Veer. I remember very well he was working out like a 20-year-old with long hair and then he removed his T-shirt with a super fit body, one can always aspire for. It was a day when our gym was filled with people who would never even come to the gym, that’s the aura Salman Khan has. That day I and my friend had already worked out in the morning but just to have that experience of working out with the great Salman Khan we did it again. I love watching Maine Pyaar Kiya, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota hai, and Tere Naam.

Mitaali Nag: Salman Khan is my favourite superstar. I have grown up watching him. He was every girl’s dream after he played PREM in Maine Pyaar Kiya. With an innocent face and a fit body, he inspired so many boys out there to hit the gym and get the 6 packs. I still can’t forget the time when I shared screen space with him for a reality show where I sang with him. I was on Cloud Nine. He has done so many hit movies but my all-time favourite is Andaz Apna Apna. I can watch it over and over again. He was the cutest with his ‘Ooi Maa’ in the movie. I wish him a very happy birthday and a long long life.

Priya Paramitaa Paul: First of all, I want to wish Salman Khan a happy birthday, he will be always the most eligible bachelor of India. Very interestingly Salman Khan is my first crush his movie and the song O Oh Jaane Jaana from Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya is my favourite. I think that is the time when I was growing up and I realized that oh there something called as a crush that exists in this world! I was a kid and I just used to see that one move and that one song all the time. At that time, we didn’t have social media or YouTube where you can always search your favourite song and watch it. So, I used to wait for that song to come on TV, just to watch him. So that is my favourite song which I would like to watch again and again. Even today, I can watch it anytime whenever it is coming on TV, just to watch him. And also, this storyline is again, the typical cute beautiful love story. I think most women, most girls when we were growing up, used to dream of such kind of love story. So that’s my favourite movie which I can watch again and again. I think that was a start where Salman Khan raised the bar of every man’s definition of becoming handsome and hot. That’s when all men started going to the gym and they started getting that six packs, eight packs. I think in my life that was an era where something new had come up for guys and something new has come up in fitness and every guy wanted to have that body.

Ranndeep R Rai: I want to wish Salman Khan a very Happy Birthday. My favourite film of his is Maine Pyaar Kiya, when I have nothing to watch I watch, I still watch it today. The trend of gym and fitness was started by him, actors like Dharmendraji, and Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt were fitness conscious but the trendsetter was Salman Khan. Fitness should be a lifestyle for everyone, not just actors. Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and Tere Naam are also my favourites. Performance-wise Tere Naam was an excellent movie, nobody could have played that role better.

Pranitaa Pandit: Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam is a movie that I can watch again and again. He was an overnight success with that film. It was a game changer for him. He did different genres after that and also came up with a new, refreshing look. His acting skills transitioned from a romantic hero to comedy.

There are 3.2 million weddings in #India between #December to #January. Isn’t that a big number? People end up spending a lot on weddings. #Celebrities give us their take on this massive #extravaganza and if they agree on spending lakhs on weddings.

Pranav Sachdeva : I feel like Indian weddings are an expression of who we are. We are a sensitive, emotional, expressive culture that is immersed in traditions and the idea of a community. The union of souls is an incredible thing. I feel like in India the institution of marriage has always been considered sacred and the celebration of it is full of human emotions and grandeur. I love attending weddings no matter how big or small they are.

Mitaali Nag : What?!? 3.2 million weddings… that’s a shocking number. In India, weddings are a way to flaunt your wealth and standing in society. Though I love the traditional and ritualistic part of Indian weddings, I always believe in keeping a balance with regards to the scale of the wedding. When I got married, I had specifically instructed my mother to not splurge, as I wanted to have a simple wedding. However, she being a single parent and I being her only child, she had her own dreams and wishes. I respected that and we had a lavish wedding in my hometown. But I did the pre audit in each and every thing starting from the guest list to the return gifts for my wedding. My husband and I made sure that we did not spend much on the post wedding reception here in Mumbai and so we had a cosy roof top reception at a hotel with family and close friends. I feel marriage is an important milestone of our lives and that is the reason people prefer to make the event the best to remember, having said that one should also be practical with regards to the expenses.

Mitu : While marriages are a good earning venture for event and PR companies, it is a waste of money. Because all the kharcha is done because ‘log kya kahenge’ but actually the real issues of marriage are never sorted. It’s better to spend a minimal amount on weddings and more work should happen on a marriage. The day people can separate wedding and marriage as two different things this can be reduced. It’s sad that people take loans to show others how much they can spend and then spend their lives repaying those loans and finishing their innings. It’s another show off for the case of ‘log kya kahenge’.

Pranitaa Pandit : According to me, it’s a waste of money, time and energy but then, yes, it’s a very big occasion in our Indian culture and must have a meaning behind it. But now with the new generation people think practically instead of fairy tale weddings they feel it’s better to travel with the money and spend it all. Yes, it’s an occasion where you get to meet all your relatives after years. But I don’t think this is my thing because I think it’s a waste of money. I see a lot of marriages don’t even last for long and those happy memories tend to become a burden. I myself had a low-key but sweet wedding and instead a long honeymoon.

Aadesh Chaudhary : My take on weddings is that this is India’s culture and there are a lot of people who stay away from their families and this is a good reason for a get together. I believe this is the beauty of Indian culture. It’s a bit expensive yes but people earn money to spend it so whatever you do you should always enjoy doing it.

Talking about #sex is still #taboo when it comes to #India, especially among #women and even #men. #Celebrities give their #views on if this needs to change or not.

Subuhii Joshii: Forget talking about sex, even using the word sex, is such a big taboo. I think rather than appreciating people who talk about and express their need for sex verbally, they are looked down upon. I think it’s because we are taught since childhood, that’s how we have grown up and that needs to change. I am not saying going and talking unnecessarily where it’s not required, but it should change. Sex education is very important. It should be made mandatory in schools.

Nirisha Basnett: Honestly, India is still liberal compared to a few countries that have strict rules when it comes to women and sex. Indonesia just banned sex outside marriage under a new criminal code. In countries like Iraq and Afghanistan and most Muslim countries, wearing hijab and fully covered dress is compulsory for women. 90 percent of women undergo Female Genital Mutilation in Africa and Middle Eastern countries. In Iran, virgin girls, who are in prison are forced to marry and get raped by the prisoners before execution. And India is still far from that sick world. Hopefully, considering talking about Sex, a taboo in India is still nothing compared to the above in-human behaviour when it comes to sex and women in several countries. But in India, more than just a mere expression of talking about sex, the problem lies in addressing and prioritising the real issues surrounding sex like rape, marital rape, punishment for rape, sexual harassment, LGBTQ rights, and sex education in schools and households. From my understanding, sex is such a private thing, why does one need to express their need to the world? Talk it with the person that they want to have sex with or with the younger ones who need to be aware of sex education.

Aniruddh Dave: India is a country of culture and ethics. Do not let the west overpower you in every aspect, the thoughts, customs, rituals, and mentality in certain things. Kuch baatein parde mein, lihaz mein achi lagti hain.

Nikhil Nanda: It is still taboo in India. But it should be normalized. It is not going to change overnight, but slowly it is changing. And with the generations to come, it will be absolutely normal to talk about it.

Priya Paramitaa Paul: I do agree that even now in this in our generation, the word sex is still taboo. We cannot even talk about it in tier-two cities and villages. Yes, in the metro to a certain extent people have accepted, but that would be hardly 3% of our entire India. I feel that sex should be taught in public be it, men and women, because crime like rape is a result of why we don’t talk about it, we don’t give sex education to our children, we make those boundaries that you need to get married, you cannot look for other men, you cannot look for other women. And so many things, if somebody even expresses that this is our this is what I need, we are judged. And I feel that these things should be changed, this is a natural phenomenon given by God for our body, these are hormones that our body produces, right? It is as same as when we are thirsty, we need water. When we are hungry, we need food. So, I don’t think that sex is something that should be hidden from people, especially for education, purposes, everyone should know about sex. And this awareness can be one of the reasons that can avoid that brutal crime, the brutal rape-murder that we hear about every day.

Ambuj Dixit: This awareness will come gradually. It can change by both men and women being open about their needs. People talk about true love, but one has to remember for love to be true, sex plays an important part too. And that should be clear to both genders. For a relationship to thrive or materialize into marriage also sex plays an important part. So it’s a very important part of one’s personal life. It can only be changed by being more open and upfront about it by both genders.
