She did numerous shows, had a failed marriage and now she is back in the reckoning again. She looks fitter than ever and deadlier than ever. She has learned it the hard way and the one who knows to survive knows to thrive. It seems just like yesterday that we used to see her in Kumkum and kaajjal. She has matured as an actor and immensely as a human. She is a single mother inspiring millions and she is an entrepreneur as well.

We got in touch with Chahatt and here is how she reflects on the journey so far, “It’s been such a fulfilling journey. I have absolutely zero regrets. I am sure there were decisions that I should have been wiser with but it’s part of my journey and it’s been one hell of a ride. Now it feels that I am really getting started with the energy that I have. I am learning every day and I am enjoying every moment. And I have had feedback that it’s reflecting in my health and the smiles have only got wider. It’s been an auspicious and fulfilling journey and I can’t wait to entertain my audience as much as I can.”

She is now completely focused on her work and hungry to work on great projects. She is reading multiple scripts and finalizing the projects that she wants to go ahead with. She was last seen alongside Sanjay Dutt in prasthanam. Chahatt had been a busy actress for a long time since very early in her career.

We got in touch with her and here is what she has got to say, “I was involved with my kids and my online businesses and other ventures for some time. I gave it almost three years and currently they are in a good state. I am now signing some projects. Some people thought that I don’t want to be in front of the camera anymore. It’s my first love. I have always enjoyed being in front of the camera. I am reading a lot of scripts these days and I want to concretize things soon. It’s been a good time away from all the happenings as well. It’s rekindled the hunger for great characters in me. So gunning for it now.”

She is now going on a keto diet for an untitled project if reports are to be believed. Chahatt has been in one of the best shapes of her life. She has been consulting dietitians and now she is ready to plunge into the keto diet. She was last seen in prasthanam alongside Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. She has also been very keen on outdoor fitness forms such as jogging and martial arts. Is there something this girl can’t do?

We got in touch with Chahatt and here is what she has got to say, “I have just started with the keto diet. The body feels amazing. The energies are reser. It’s important for me to get into the skin of the character. The audience deserves it. I consulted a dietitian and it’s very important to do it right. It can otherwise have the opposite effect. I am working day in and day out and I feel I am just getting started. There are multiple things on my plate and it’s a good feeling to have.”

Chahatt Khanna has launched her clothing line and she is working on a host of other ventures. Recently Katrina Kaif had launched her make up line called Kay and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had done the same earlier with her clothing line called Rheson. These are three women we look upto when it comes to women entrepreneurs who are really slaying up the scene. Chahatt Khanna is a single mother and the way she has handled her professional and personal life is truly commendable and inspirational.

We got on a call with Chahatt regarding this and here is what she has got to say about her entrepreneurial journey, “It’s been a good start with my clothing line. A considerable amount of the revenue goes to non profit activities and bringing social change for women. The journey really started with a drive to bring change. I have gone through tough times and there has been an innate need ever since to do better for the larger group. My kids will eventually learn and pick up things that I do. So they need to know a strong woman who stood for change. And over a period of time things have materialised. I hope the same spirit and drive comes to all women and we see much more equality sooner rather than later.”

She is truly motivating. We could sense the excitement in her voice when she speaks about women becoming more independent and we can truly say we need more of Chahatt” in our society.

While working in films, portraying difficult characters, actors prefer to study it’s characteristics so as to add authenticity to the role. A lot of actors rely on method acting to perfect their performance. But it has side effects too. While playing a dark character, there are instances of actors going into depression. But it’s rare and beautiful and bubbly actress Chahatt (nee Chahatt Khanna) understands that very well.

It so happened that recently Chahatt’s smoking video which she shared on her Instagram, caught eye balls and a few of Chahhat’s fans were riled up to smoking in a few pictures that she shared on her social media. It shocked her fans to see her in this avatar but when the actress has something else to say on this.

When confronted with many queries, Chahatt confessed, “I am preparing for a character for a movie who smokes and its a part of the preparation. I understand the fan’s and the people’s concern but as an actor we have to delve deep down to work on the characters and roles that we play for making them believable for my audience. I don’t smoke but I’m learning this to look like a pro, so that it comes naturally on screen. It’s a huge responsibility though. We have to stay true to our instincts and take on the preparations very seriously. It’s an occupational hazard one could say. So all is well from my side and much love and peace to all.”

Be it chahat Khanna in Prasthanam or Sushmita Sen in the recently released Aarya, they are a cut above. Nothing seems to diminish their spirit as they might as well have seen the worst.

We spoke to one of them and here is what chahatt has to say, “That time of separation changes you inside out. A lot of Indian women don’t have it easy for them. Even in the wedlock or when they are trying to come off it. They are not just fighting against the man but the society at large. And with the responsibility of raising kids, it only makes them stronger and gets the absolute best of them. That has been the case with me. I am not a victim. I am someone who stood against the odds and did my best and have come up triumphs. Be it the divorce, mental issues, raising kids, securing their future, focusing on one’s own career or taking care of parents, I braved it all and here I am standing in front of you today. So I urge every women who can hear me, stand up against the odds. You are stronger than you think. Play it in the front foot and focus on creating the future. There is no chance you will not win even though the odds are heavily against you. Your superpower is that you are a lady.”

Those are some strong words by an even stronger person. We wish this one hell of a woman all the luck and to all the ladies out there, you are not alone. We are with you. Take it to the opposition.
