While alternate endings have occasionally surfaced in film history, they remain rare — and rarely attempted on a global scale. But never before has a mainstream Hindi comedy that too a murder mystery has ever embraced such narrative audacity — and certainly not one backed by a marquee franchise with such mass appeal.

Speaking on it Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala shared, “With Housefull 5, we wanted to take a bold creative swing that hasn’t been done before internationally for any thriller film. The idea of having multiple endings, multiple experiences has been with me for 30 years. Since, i wanted to make Housefull 5 a thriller comedy, there couldn’t have been a better way to execute my idea of having multiple endings than this.”

He adds, “It felt right to do something radical as we celebrate 75 years of Nadiadwala Grandson in the industry. Housefull is India’s biggest comedy franchise and for the fifth instalment, we had to push the boundaries of what comedy can be. The idea of different endings came from a simple question: why should the audience always have just one version of the truth in a thriller? With Housefull 5, we’ve built a film that plays with form while staying completely rooted in entertainment. It’s a killer comedy, literally, with twists that change depending on where you’re watching it. and I’m proud we’re doing it under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson as we mark 75 years in the business. Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown format, India’s Best Dancer vs. Super Dancer: Champions Ka Tashan, hosted by #HaarshLimbachiyaa, will bring viewers yet another week of exhilarating dance challenges, dramatic banter, and engaging performances. Team Owner #MalaikaArora represents India’s Best Dancer, while #GeetaKapur leads the talented prodigies of Super Dancer. The legendary #RemoDSouza helms the judging panel, ensuring fairness in the intense competition. This week, Chunky Panday and #ShaktiKapoor will add their signature wit and gags to the episodes, while supporting Team India’s Best Dancer & Super Dancer, respectively.

This week, the challenges would be coming from Remo’s Skull, beginning with “Aa Dekhe Zara,” where both teams delivered high-energy group performances on tracks like “Gajanana” and “Bum Bole” that led to #GeetaKapur exclaiming, “It’s beautiful to watch how everyone came together.”

Another standout moment was a challenge brought in by #FarahKhan, host of Celebrity MasterChef, called ‘Farah Ki Farmaish’. For the challenge, Farah sends a mystery box containing some props that should be incorporated in the acts, which saw Prithviraj take on Steve.

‘Mud Mud Ke Dekh’ will be a challenge wherein four people will stand in different corners and Remo will take a particular person’s name, and the contestants have to turn towards them and dance. This challenge saw Sanchit perform against Shivanshu. In the ‘Undekha Andaz’ challenge, Anuradha & Florina go head-to-head with Vivek & Samarpan and Judge Remo will compliment both teams for their concepts. Next up, the “Teen Ka Tigdam” round will see SD’s Vaibhav, Arshiya & Rupsa perform against India’s Best Dancer’s Pratik, Debparna & Akina.

Between the performances, Host Haarsh, along with the contestants, will be seen having a fun conversation about their dream vacation to Bangkok if they won the show. They dared Chunky Pandey to call his wife, Bhavana Pandey, and ask for her permission. Chunky, with a mischievous glint in his eye, called Bhavana and said, “I’m on a show with Malaika, Remo, Geeta Ji, and Shakti Ji. Our Team is winning, and Remo has suddenly become incredibly generous and wants to take us boys on a little trip to Bangkok.”

Watch out for Bhavna’s reply to her dear husband. The show is also set to get its last set of finalists this week.

One act that not only won the hearts of the judges but also the special guests will be contestant Sanket Gaonakar and choreographer Anuradha Iyengar’s power packed performance on the track – ‘Lal Dupatta Wali Tera Naam Toh Bata’ from the movie ‘Aankhen’ with a twist of ‘Yakshagana’ dance form. Spell bounded by the duo’s outstanding performance, all the three judges – Geeta Kapoor, Malaika Arora and Terence Lewis along with the guest judges, Neelam Kothari and Chunky Pandey gave them a standing ovation.

A stunned Chunky Pandey said, “My mind’s blown away after looking at this performance. The way you guys have presented Cinderella’s story is just commendable. I would like to share that this song is from the one and only film that I did with Govinda but people think we have done a lot of films together. It’s because ‘Aankhein’ was that one film which was worth a hundreds just like this one performance of yours is worth a hundred performances. Salute Salute Salute”.

Furthermore, Geeta Kapoor gave the performance a ‘Sajda’ as she said“ This was a visual treat I enjoyed every moment of the performance. Anuradha you are a great storyteller. I loved the choreography and I am happy that you are making Sanket learn all this.”

However, the most special moment of the entire act was when Superstar Neelam Kothari gave a good luck ring to ‘Sanket’ as a token of love and luck. On hearing about the health condition of Sanket’s father, the beautiful actress couldn’t hold herself back as she broke down into tears as Sanket’s situation reminded her of her own father who recently passed away.

Moved by Sanket’s story, superstar Neelam Kothari said, “Sanket, you were outstanding. I know it’s good to be the best dancer but it is even better to be a good son. I must say you are an inspiration, I know what you are going through, and to perform like that, it’s just so heartwarming.”

She also added, “This is a small gesture from my side and hopefully your papa gets better. I know he will come to see you perform very soon. I have lost my father and I know how it feels. When the producers asked me to come as a guest on the show, I wasn’t ready as I have lost him very recently but I know if my father would have been there, he would have told me that ‘The Show must go on”. So, I would just say stay strong and wish you all the very best”.
