Vaishnavi would be channelling her journalistic side and getting inquisitive on the game show. Prepared with a set of questions for the host, the contestant would ask Mr Bachchan a series of questions and get responses in kind. On asked how he spends time with his darling granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan amid his busy schedule, a source close to the set quoted the host as saying, “he said he cannot spend much time with his granddaughter. He goes to work at 7-7:30 am and she goes to school at 8-8:30 am. She comes back home at 3 or 4 pm and then she has homework among other things to do as told to her by her mother. He returns home at around 10-11 pm and she is off to sleep. So, He does not really have time to meet her. Yet, thank god for today’s inventions he facetime her sometimes. She is free on Sunday and so he plays with her for some time. When she gets angry, he gives her chocolate and the bands that women wear in their hair, hair bands. She loves pink colour and so he gives her pink hairbands.”

Among other conversations, the contestant would be telling the host how she plans to prepare for IAS and with her winning amount support her family.

So how does it feel to be back on the film set again?
Himansh says,”Throughout the lockdowns, I kept on wishing that the postponed shoot may get resumed asap. I can’t tell you how elated I feel that I’m finally back on the set. It was a long break and covid made it even longer. Also, while this break has given us more time to refine the film, the hype of the film has also taken a hit which we will need to create again. I feel the most important trait of any actor apart from the basics like acting, looks, dance, etc. is patience. Every aspect of a film takes time and while sometimes you can contribute and act as a catalyst, there are times when all you got to do is wait. The only way I am able to keep my patience is by being positive and staying in regular touch with the crew to understand what’s going on in their mind. Interestingly Himansh has done some amazing music videos in the last few months. Tenu Vekhi Javaan, Main Jis Bhulaa Du, Wafa Na Raas Aayi, Bewafa Tera Muskurana, Dil Galti Kar Baitha Hai, Chura Liya all the music videos have done exceptionally well.

He says, ”I have been lucky to bag a role in some really amazing songs, which have helped me stay relevant and given me the opportunity to be seen and noticed when almost the entire market was at a halt. I would like to thank Bhushan Kumar Ji here for having faith in me that I’d be able to pull it off.”

About being cautious around the sets, he said, “I am super-careful especially since the news about Omicron virus detection in India came out. I can’t risk myself to reinfection and I wouldn’t let anyone in my vicinity be callous about this. We have seen really dark times during the 1st and 2nd waves when the country got burnt with the fire from the innumerable pyres. I’m happy that it is history now and I will take every measure to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

The music video produced by Kumar Bharti, and directed by Dehradun-based film maker, Ajay Govind, raises the issue of women’s safety at night in Indian cities. Accomplished artiste Sona Mohapatra, who has raised several women-centric issues, lends her powerful voice to highlight the problems working women face when travelling at night and sheds light on the power of female solidarity in building safe spaces for women in every sphere of life.

“Raat Ke Musaafir” features actors Sakshi Hasija, who plays a female cab driver aspiring to become a civil servant, and Anupama Sunehria, a young hockey player. Sakshi’s character’s strong maturity and the vibrant energy of Sakshi’s character become the crux of the music video. To add an authentic touch, the producers invited a hockey coach, Sonal Shah, to train Anupama on set. The video has been shot in Dehradun.

The powerful concept, developed by scriptwriter, Remya Sasindran, delves into the barriers that women face when they have to be out at night to achieve their dreams and how women continue to support each other to make the world a safer place. The song featured in the video is composed by Nitin Krishna Menon, who last composed music for a short film ‘Missing’ directed by actor Vipin Sharma, which was selected for screening at NYIFF 2020.

The narrative, both visually & in song was about women’s right to public spaces, be it night or day and their right to be able to dream freely & make those dreams come true! There could be no better spirit to celebrate this Independence Day & one that has come right in the middle of a scary pandemic & health scare where it has become even more evident that in order for humankind to get through to the other side, all genders need to work together, with mutual respect, in harmony because there is a much bigger force at play that no one can control. This harmony can be brought about only if we free women from their shackles.” Sona added, “This song has strong electric guitars & is a rock ballad. Unconventional in India since such ‘rockstar’ status is reserved for the men folk more often than not & this too breaks barriers subconsciously & overtly! I enjoyed singing this song straight from the heart because it tells a story without preaching or patronising anyone. Women have been trained to speak softly & are expected to sing like a high pitched bird in a sweet voice only & also be a damsel in distress. This is 2020. Those days are over.”

“We decided to release the song on Independence Day because freedom is a core theme that runs in the song. Eventually the song is a take on everyone’s freedom to be themselves and find others in that journey who will support you,” added Ajay Govind lyricist and director of the music video.

Ultra Media & Entertainment presents music video “Raat Ke Musaafir” featuring vocals by Sona Mohapatra. The song is an ode to the struggles that Indian women face when they dare to dream in the context of safe spaces whenever they work or travel at night. The music video will release on Independence Day 2020 on Ultra Bollywood You Tube Channel and later on Gaana, Spotify, Saavn itunes and other leading platforms.
