Talking about the best thing about his role, Dev adds, “It has different layers… Also, the relationship Dinkar shares with his sister and nephew is beautiful. The name that I am called in the show, Katappa mama suits my role.”

The vibes on the set of the show, according to the actor, is quite comforting. “The set is full of positive people and everybody is very supportive. All our producers are wonderful people. They are friendly, supportive and extremely professional,” he ends.

“I would like to dedicate the show and the title song of the show to my mamma and to my love,” continues Milan, who plays the role of Saira in the show.

“My expectation from this show is that not only my audience loves my role but I also want my whole team to give a lot of love to me and especially to Saira. Aggar Tum Na Hote is a beautiful title that indicates the sign of pure love. We all want that through our characters we are able to explain the right meanings of love, respect, understanding, loyalty and maturity. Along with having the best cast and crew, I must also add that all our three producers are amazing, talented and very understanding. I am very happy to be a part of this gang,” she adds.

Tushar Chawla, who will be seen as Anand in the show, wants to dedicate the title track to his mother. He shares that without her love and support, he and his brother would not have done well in life. Anand calls her mother a ‘superwoman’.

“I hope this show will cover several milestones but before that I want this show that has been created with so much love to be successful. I also hope and pray that the audience will love the concept. The concept of the show is unique. It’s like a fairy tale love story and will show you the true power of love,” he says before adding, “It’s an amazing experience working with Mahesh ji, Jatin ji and Piyush ji. We have a vibrant set, every day we have so much fun shooting. I am close to Piyush ji. He is like a mentor to me.”

For Simran aka Niyati in the show, the journey so far while prepping and shooting the show has been an amazing learning experience. “Working on this show has been like an exceptional combination of vision, energy and positivity. The entire cast, crew and producers truly inspire me every day and bring out the best in me. I feel fortunate to be under the tutelage of such amazing makers and producers,” she adds.

The actor is looking forward to the show’s premier today and wants to dedicate the title song to her parents. “Nothing in my life would have been possible if my parents were not with me. I hope our show will entertain the audience, make them fall in love all over again. This is a story of dedication and commitment,” she says. Echoing a similar sentiment Dev, who essays the character of Dinkar, adds, “It gives out a neat and clean message to the audience. I hope the audience loves my Bhojpuri shows, and would love this one as well. Aggar marks Dev’s debut on Hindi TV. He has been a part of Bhojpuri industry. “I have a lot of expectations from this show. I am happy to have taken this opportunity up and hope that the show tastes success. He is playing the role of Dinkar in the show. “He is uncle (Mama) of the lead actor. He loves to call me Kattappa Mama. Our bond is similar to Baahubali and Kattappa. Also, my character is related to my sister Manorma and brother-in-law. Dinkar can do anything for family,” he said.

Dev relates to the character because after he heard the character description, it was to play out the relationship between his sister, brother-in-law and his nephew. “I have to play this character one at a time. And I’m sure day by day I will be very close to my character Dinkar,” he said about the show produced by Jatin Sethi (Naad films), Mahesh Pandey (Mahesh Pandey Productions) and Piyush Gupta (Pixx Entertainment).

He finds it a pleasure to work with the producers. “I’m very thankful to Mahesh Pandeyji for the role written by him, it’s too good. Jatin Sir and Piyush Sir are very kind producers. They have given the freedom to everyone on set,” he said.

Meanwhile, the actor, who has featured in shows like Adalat, Bhagya Vidhata, Shani Dev, CID, Savdhaan India and Maharana Pratap, thinks it’s very good to see changing content on television.

“Everyone liked the promo (of his new show) because it’s different from others. I am also doing this show because of the character I’m playing and also because of the content. Maybe everyone has switched themselves from TV to OTT, so I think that’s why the content of TV needs to be changed,” he said.

For him, the television industry is a different family altogether. “I had been a part of it earlier so for me it’s like coming back home quite often,” said the actor, who has also been part Bhojpuri showbiz and done approximately 50 movies in that language.

According to him, the pandemic has been one of the longest nightmares for almost everybody. “But we have the ‘NEVER GIVE UP’ attitude which has made us strong enough to tackle this,” he said.
