Meet Shruthy Menon as Sandhya, a gorgeous, bright, and ambitious young woman, who is Dev’s former girlfriend and one he hopes to reconnect with. Trapped in Kairav’s ambitious world, Sandhya wants nothing more than to leave Lakhot. While hailing from a conservative family and saddled with a controversial past, Sandhya certain of what she wants. However, only time will tell if she will succeed.

Keeping their style of stunning audience by revealing surprising information related to the actors playing key personalities in the life of Shahir, producer-director of the film have revealed the information about the role played by Amit. The information was made public on the occasion of birth anniversary of Sane Guruji on December 24.

Shahir Sable was a true disciple of Sane Guruji who moulded Sable’s life in true sense and was responsible for many turns of his life. On the occasion of the Guruji’s birth anniversary the first glimpse of Sane Guruji’s character in ‘Maharashtra Shahir’ was revealed on Saturday. An ideal relationship between a disciple and mentor will unfold in the film. The biopic on Shahir Sable who gave ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra Majha’, the state song of Maharashtra.

Kedar Shinde, director of the film, said while speaking about the character played by Dolawat, “Sane Guruji played a pivotal role in the life of my grandfather Shahir Sable. Guruji was his mentor and had moulded his life with good turns. I am happy that Amit is playing Guruji’s role. He is a talented actor from the Hindi television industry. To maintain our production values, we have been roping in talented actors and featuring Amit in the film was one such attempt.”

Maharashtra Shahir has been produced by Everest Entertainment and Kedar Shinde Productions headed by Sanjay Chhabria and Bela Kedar Shinde. After the launch of the shooting on the occasion of Dussehra, the film is being shot at Wai, Bhor, Pune, Mumbai and other picturesque locations.

Leading music director duo Ajay-Atul has given music while it has been written by noted writer-direcror Pratima Kulkarni. There was buzz among the film goers and even within the film industry about the names of the actors playing the characters of the personalities in the life of Shahir Sable. The makers have been revealing the names one by one over the last few months. This has raised the curiosity bar.

Maharashtra Shahir is all set to release in theatres near you on April 28, 2023.
