Garud (Faisal Khan) is headed to please Vasuki (Rishav Trivedi), the King of Serpents, to be the churning rope for the Manthan. He brings Kadru (Parul Chauhan) along with him and while he attempts to befriend Vasuki and garner his assistance, Kadru does not approve of the same. Kadru believes that Vasuki shouldn’t volunteer himself, unless the Devas and Asuras approach him directly.

Vasuki cannot deny his mother’s orders and refuses to accompany Garud. Garud, who is bewildered, starts to believe that his standing before the Gods would decline because of this failure, since he had boasted so arrogantly about his ability to get him there. While he tries to persuade Vasuki to help, Vasuki can see right through his vanity, and gains weight by using his strength, and as a result, Garud is completely unable to lift him.

At which point, everyone turns to Vishnu (Vishal Karwal)for his guidance and learn that only Lord Shiva possesses the strength and powers to move Vasuki. For which the Devas and Asuras must worship Lord Shiva to achieve this. Will Lord Shiva assist them? Will Garud heed his lesson in self-control?

Faisal Khan who essays the role of Garud says “An episode on conceit and humility is not only a driving force for Garud’s plotline, but also it will deliver a moral message to the audience. Garud has been getting constant appreciation for his strength, which ultimately gets to his head. And I too realize, that in today’s world, it’s hard to keep oneself humble and grounded. I wish people would learn from it as much as we revisited the old life lessons while shooting these episodes.”

Vasuki is the eldest son of Kadru (Parul Chauhan), the queen of the serpents. Lord Vishnu asked Garud to approach his brother and ask for his immediate assistance. Due to Garud’s animosity toward the King of Serpents, this assignment was too much for Garud to bear. Nevertheless, along with Kadru, he flew towards Vasuki and even though he refused to see him eye to eye, Garud persuaded him to give him a chance and help serve the Gods in winning the crusade. Hence, Vasuki, the King of Snakes agreed to serve as a churning rope and to be bound around Mount Mandara. The Asuras demanded to hold the head of the Serpent while the Devtas agreed to hold the snake’s tail.

Will the Devtas and Asuras manage to churn the Ocean of Milk and attain the nectar of immortality?

Faisal Khan, who essays the role of Garud says, Garud possesses great might, yet unlike the Gods and Demons, he is not enamoured with himself. He worships Lord Vishnu and seeks his advice on a regular basis. Faith is what allows him to move mountains, and he will go above and beyond to assist the Devtas win the fight. I would encourage the audience to follow Garud on his journey and show lots of love on the show as the untold stories of Garud’s engagement in samudra manthan begin now.”

As Garud wins over the various challenges inflicted on him by Kadru and Rahu, it dawns upon Kadru that Garud is undefeatable, and he has the capacity to eat her snake sons alive at one go. Initially perplexed, Kadru concludes that in order to have full control over the mighty Garud, she needs to enslave him. Only then will she be able to fulfill her twisted ambitions.

Parul Chauhan who essays the role of Kadru says, “Kadru has dark intentions and her hunger for power coupled with crippling insecurity has made her blind to the struggles of her own sister Vinta and Garud. She knows that her children are nothing compared to Garud’s wit and strength. She knows that she has to step up her game plan and keep Garud under her grasp. It will be interesting to see if she can succeed in her evil plans or will she surrender to Garud’s might.”

Faisal Khan essaying the role of Garud says, “Garud’s will to free Vinta from the confinement of slavery is now stronger than ever. He is equipped with the gift of knowledge now and he knows it well that Kadru is behind his mother’s tragic life. But he feels very helpless when Vinta asks him to obey Kadru’s orders and he has no choice but to kneel down in front of her. Although he becomes a slave, his spirit is indomitable and this is just the starting of an epic saga, a crusade between good vs evil.”
