Celebrities Gather to Pay Tribute to Actor-Producer-Director Dheeraj Kumar

The Indian entertainment industry united in grief and remembrance at the prayer meet held for veteran actor, producer, and director Dheeraj Kumar, whose contribution to cinema and television left a lasting legacy.

A host of film and television personalities, singers, and political figures attended the solemn occasion to offer their condolences and pay tribute to the Creative Eye Ltd. founder who shaped some of Indian television’s most iconic shows.

Among the prominent attendees were Bollywood legends Hema Malini and Jackie Shroff, along with actors Poonam Dhillon, Rakesh Bedi, Mukesh Rishi, Deepak Parashar, Tej Sapru, Ramesh Goyal, Raza Murad, Tinaa Ghaai ,Vidhi Ghai and Surendra Pal. Renowned producer Ganesh Jain, singer Padma Shri Soma Ghosh, singer Madhushree, Vivek Prakash, Roli Prakash, actress Eisha Singh, actor Shehzad Khan, and producer Manish Goswami, His Excellency Kobbi Soshani, Consul General of Israel also joined in mourning the loss.

Respected industry names like Siddharth Roy Kapur, Munmun Dutta, Ashoke Pandit, Kripa Shankar Singh, and B.N. Tiwari (President, FWICE) were present to express their sorrow. Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, a close family friend, and Sunil Gupta, CFO of Creative Eye Ltd., were also among those who paid homage.

The gathering reflected the deep respect and affection Dheeraj Kumar commanded across generations and professions. The occasion saw a vibrant gathering of celebrities, dignitaries, and well-wishers, all coming together to honor the divine presence of Ganpati Bappa.

Children’s show, Nikki Aur Jadui Bubble is all set to bring love, laughter and entertainment for families at home. The show revolves around this young girl Nikki and a magical bubble. It will be full of adventure, tricks and fun. The show is Produced by Dheeraj Kumar, Zuby Kochar and Sunil Gupta of Creative Eye Ltd.

Maisha Dixit will play Nikki, Himanshu Malhotra will play Nikki’s father and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai’s little star, Tanmay Rishi will play the naughty bubble.

Dheeraj Kumar, producer of the show, said, “Children love watching magic and adventure films. In these tough times, the show will prove to be de-stressing not just for children, but also for their parents. It is a family show and Tanmay looks a lot like that young boy in Harry Potter films.” Producer Zuby Kochhar added, In today’s time every young parent is desirous their children also need to watch stress busters programmes. The show follows the story of an 11-year-old Nikki, a daughter of a great magician, Shiv. With the help of a magical Bubble and her close friends, she embarks on a journey to find her father and defeat the evil Jadugarni, Jhanjharika. Actor Ruslaan Mumtaz had joined the cast of the show. Earlier, he was seen in the popular show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. But it was later revealed that actor Himanshu Malhotra was chosen for the show instead of actor Ruslaan Mumtaz.

Actor Tashvi Thakker has also joined the cast of the show as a lead. She has been a part of the show Tamanna, Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara, Naagin 3, and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. The actor will be seen playing the character of Chugli on the show. She will be seen snitching about others and will face consequences for her actions.

The iconic show, ‘Om Namah Shivay’ that created records and earned a legion of loyal fans, has a remarkably interesting back story about how it was made. It is back on Colors, Dheeraj Kumar who directed it, revealed in a recent chat, that it took nine long years of research by renowned scholars and writers before they started shooting it. The veteran director said that it was the longest time he has ever taken to do preparations for any show that he has ever made.

Talking about the research on the show, Dheeraj Kumar said, “Om Namah Shivay commenced its telecast in the year 1996. However, our research was on since 1987. Nine long years we spent on research for the program. The kind of shows we were doing before were quite different, mostly social patriotic shows and crime thrillers etc. So, we wanted to get this right. We associated with professor Madhusudhan Pathak of Oriental Research Institute of Baroda. Initially, We also brought in stalwarts like Achala Nagar who has written Baaghban and Dr. Rahi Masoom Raza who worked on other classic mythological shows and then there was Darshan Laad, who was also the writer of big mythological shows of that time. All these people conducted research in association with Dr. Madhusudan Pathak of Oriental Research institute on Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas to bring our show to light.”

Writer-Director Paritosh Painter, known for his rustic yet contagious laughter-filled comedy and theatrics, is back with his next mega-production, Coconut Theatre’s 3Cheers!, a satirical comic rollercoaster, produced by Rashmin Majithia and written-directed by Paritosh Painter. Starring Sangita Ghosh, Shweta Gulati, Paritosh Painter, Balwinder Singh Suri, Jayesh Thakkar and Vishal Kotian, Coconut Theatre’s 3Cheers! is a play about Shree, Aditya and Manav; three friends who are Blind, Deaf and Dumb respectively… The characters are financially broke with a long list of creditors behind their back and the problem begins when the creditors hire a goon called Salim Supari to retrieve their money from the 3 friends.

Contagious laughter-filled comedy 3Cheers’ premiere witnesses celebrity turnout

Writer-Director Paritosh Painter, known for his rustic yet contagious laughter-filled comedy and theatrics, is back with his next mega-production, Coconut Theatre’s 3Cheers!, a satirical comic rollercoaster, produced by Rashmin Majithia and written-directed by Paritosh Painter. Starring Sangita Ghosh, Shweta Gulati, Paritosh Painter, Balwinder Singh Suri, Jayesh Thakkar and Vishal Kotian, Coconut Theatre’s 3Cheers! is a play about Shree, Aditya and Manav; three friends who are Blind, Deaf and Dumb respectively. The characters are financially broke with a long list of creditors behind their back and the problem begins when the creditors hire a goon called Salim Supari to retrieve their money from the 3 friends.
