Despite sprained ankle Nushrratt Bharuccha kept on working to fulfill work commitments.

Recently at a chat show, the actress recalled a painful yet interesting incident and shared that she once sprained her ankle, but still kept on working to fulfill work commitments.

Speaking on Shilpa Shetty’s chat show Shape of You, Nushrrat said, “For past one year, I have had one or the other problem. I had a vertigo attack, then I had a back injury. Then I sprained my ankle, then I cracked my toe.”

Nushrratt further said, “Because of this illness, one fall after the other, it became very difficult to keep up with work. So I would be on set, two ADs would push me into the frame. I would say my dialogues and then fall out of the frames and the ADs would hold me again. But I had those commitments so I had to work.”

She also recalled her days during the shoot of Dil Chori Saada for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, she had buckets full of warm water and salt on the set ready for her to soothe her feet.
Nushrratt’s foot was swollen as she wore an uncomfortable heel to hide her short heigh, she said.

The diva is truly a shining example that no matter how many hurdles come in life work doesn’t have to suffer.
We are truly inspired by the commitment and hardwork of the actress.

On the work front, Nushrratt will be next seen in ‘Chhorii 2’, ‘Selfiee’, ‘Ram Setu’ and an untitled Pan India film alongside Bellamkonda Srinivas.

Nushrratt Bharuccha hits the bull’s eye with her first single music video release, ‘Saiyaan Ji’

Nushrratt Bharuccha recently struck the screens with all her glamour in her first music video ever with Honey Singh. Featuring in ‘Saiyaan Ji’ has been a special journey for Nushrratt and here’s why.

She says, “Saiyaan Ji is extremely close to my heart, it being my first single music video ever with Honey Sir. Saiyaan Ji is our 4th song together, after ‘Dil Chori’, ‘Care Ni Karda’ and ‘Chote Chote Peg’ and with the song now crossing 100 Million views, we have maintained our winning streak. I’m very very overwhelmed with all the love coming my way from the audiences. The fact that the song has become such a massive hit, is such an amazing hype for us.”

“The song is also special to me, as I shot for it right after the lockdown was lifted. That time, I was in the middle of promoting Chhalaang, and was running between one activity to another, but somehow we fixed up the dates and worked it out – even if it meant shooting for 18-18 hours a day. I’m just really really glad that all of it bore a fruitful outcome. We are all very elated with the result, that we delivered a blockbuster song!”, the actress added.

Nushrratt has been a part of songs sung by Honey Singh that have also marked huge success, her recent film Chhalaang also had ‘Care Ni Karda’ voiced by him and in the audience favorite Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety two songs sung by him. This streak is evidently a winner.

Hitting the bull’s eye with her first release after the lockdown with ‘Chhalaang’ and now with the massive hit of a music video, Nushrratt is riding on a high horse. Her versatile performances are proof that she is a ‘one size fits all’ actress. After ‘Care Ni Karda’, Honey Singh and Nushrratt Bharuccha come together for ‘SaiyaanJi’

Riding high on the success of her latest film, ‘Chhalaang’, Nushrratt Bharuccha, yet again wins the hearts of the audience with her latest song, ‘SaiyaanJi’ along with Honey Singh. The song is out recently and has become a huge hit as well just in a few hours’ time.

Talking about the song, Nushrratt revealed, “Saiyaan Ji is my fourth song with THE OG singer, rapper, composer, Honey Singh sir and it has co-incidentally so happened that in our earlier songs, it was always me who lip synced his patent “Yo Yo Honey Singh” line on camera. So this time around, I requested him to let me continue this tradition, and he happily agreed to let me do that.”

She further adds, “I’ve been such a huge fan of Honey sir since forever and to lip sync his line, while he is in the same frame with me, was a different high altogether and in fact the bestest part about the song for me personally. I went to shoot this song right after Chhalaang had released and I remember it was so much fun.”

Honey Singh and Nushrratt’s song ‘Care Ni Karda’ from Chhalaang came out while they began working on ‘SaiyaanJi’. She has worked with Honey Singh in 3 songs before this and it’s safe to say, their pairing has delivered hits time and again. With songs like ‘Dil Chori’, ‘Care ni karda’ and ‘Chhote Chhote Peg’ their Jodi has given great songs for the people to dance to and with ‘SaiyaanJi’ they will be looking to make it yet another hit.

Starring along Ranjkummar Rao in Chhalaang, Nushrratt gave a praiseworthy and breakthrough performance, the fans and crictics were all praise alike. The movie was a hit and it came down to her never before seen avatar which she played effortlessly. She perfected Haryanvi accent for her role and received a lot of praise for her part.

In the upcoming projects, she has a Horror film ‘Chorrii’, ‘Hurdang’ along with Sunny Kaushal and Vijay Varma and lastly Omung Kumar’s ‘Janhit Mein Jaari’ to complete the list.
