Huma Qureshi to play Virtual Antakshari for Fankind

Anshula Kapoor’s fundraising initiative – Fankind allows fans, celebrities and charities to come together for a good cause. This time, Huma Qureshi is all set to play Virtual Antakshari with 5 lucky winners who have donated through Fankind. The proceeds of this campaign will be given to Cuddles Foundation goes live today and will end on 13th November and the winner will be declared on 14th Nov.

Huma will raise funds for Cuddles Foundation under their FoodHeals Program. The proceeds of this campaign will provide holistic nutrition, hot meals and supplements to underprivileged children fighting cancer across India.

She says, “I am very proud to be associated with this campaign which would help provide underprivileged children fighting cancer with nutritious food. It is a small contribution from my end to give our future generations a better life cause every child should have the right to dream of a bright future, and with the help of Cuddles Foundation they can defeat cancer, I am also looking forward to interacting with fans after a long time and playing Antakshari with them virtually.”

They help raise funds for NGOs across the country who are doing important work on the ground, as well as provide access to fans by helping them interact with their favourite celebrities.

Cuddles Foundation provides holistic nutrition support and food to underprivileged children fighting cancer across India. Through the FoodHeals Program, pediatric nutritionists customise the nutritional needs of each child based on their medical needs. They monitor the child’s progress, create diet plans, educate their parents in home-based nutrition, provide the children and their families with hot meals, nutritional supplements and ration baskets so that the kids have the strength to fight their cancer.

Sidharth Malhotra to raise funds for children battling cancer

Founded by Anshula Kapoor, online fundraising platform Fankind has launched yet another campaign and this time it’s with actor Sidharth Malhotra. Sidharth’s fans now have an opportunity to interact with him over a video call, while helping raise funds for a cause that is close to Sidharth’s heart – to provide nutrition & hot meals to children battling cancer.

Fankind.org is an online fundraising platform founded by Anshula Kapoor, that brings fans, celebrities & charities together by curating one of a kind celebrity-related experiences for fans while helping raise funds for social causes. They help raise funds for NGOs across the country who are doing important work on the ground, as well as provide access to fans by helping them interact with their favourite celebrities.

Through this campaign, Malhotra will raise funds for Cuddles Foundation under their FoodHeals Program. The proceeds of this campaign will be used to provide trained nutritionists to government and charity cancer hospitals, share food and supplements with patients and families and support cancer caregivers with the knowledge to make the right food choices.

To participate in the campaign, fans can donate on fankind.org/Sid and 5 lucky fans will get an opportunity to play dumb charades virtually with their favourite actor.

Sidharth says, “It’s humbling to be a part of a cause such as this which would help in supporting the children battling with cancer with all the nutrition they need. Childhood cancer is curable, however 40% of the children battling this disease are malnourished, I am glad that I have got the opportunity to help these children through Fankind. Also, I am super excited to meet my fans for a games night, virtually of course.”

The campaign will end on 30th October 2020.

120 children to get education, thanks to Karan Johar

Most of the Bollywood fraternity indulges in social causes, some openly, some silently. But actor Arjun Kapoor’s lovely sister has founded a online fundraising platform which through campaigns make fans’ dream come true. Anshula Kapoor’s new fundraising initiative ‘Fankind’ has been winning hearts as it’s been raising funds for children’s causes. Anshula’s earlier campaigns saw Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aryan, Janhavi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan talking part and the latest to join the list of celebrities is producer, director Karan Johar.

It would not be wrong to say that Karan Johar will go on a “coffee date” with his fan, this fan-meeting will be in Mumbai. Actually, Anshula Kapoor works to introduce celebrities and their fans through their fund raising platform Fankind. Through this, they collect money for charitable causes. Fankind has handed over the funds collected by this initiative to Karan Johar to ActionAid, which will be used for the education of 120 children of Lucknow. The ActionAid organization works for underprivileged children in Lucknow.

Anshula Kapoor’s online fundraising platform, ‘Fankind’ on their fifth campaign with director Karan Johar ended with a smile on the face of a fan who got to meet his most favourite Director over a cup of coffee and confession chats. The money collected by Karan Johar’s initiative has been given for the education of 120 children in Lucknow through ActionAid.
