“I am a monsoon lover, and luckily, I am currently doing my new show ‘Nath Krishna Aur Gauri Ki Kahani ‘. During the monsoon, I go for a shoot early in the morning and enjoy the rain. It feels heavenly with the fresh air and raindrops, the beautiful weather with black clouds, and a combination of poha and chai. I know it may sound crazy,” she says.

However, it is challenging sometimes. “Sometimes it becomes very difficult when we have to shoot outdoors, but production houses are aware of this issue, so we opt for shooting indoors. This is the biggest issue in Mumbai, and surprisingly, there is no solution for traffic jams during the monsoon. I am surprised because Mumbai is a developing city, yet its roads are in poor condition. The problem of traffic jams persists, and there seems to be no resolution from the government. Comparing Mumbai to my hometown, Chandigarh, Mumbai seems like it’s 30 years behind,” she says.

She adds, “I want to enjoy the rain without any fear, but I am also cautious about falling sick since my shoot is ongoing. Therefore, I take care of myself to avoid getting sick.”

Talking about her childhood memories, she says, “I miss my childhood days, traveling from school to home and home to tuition, and enjoying evening tea with samosas in the beautiful rain. Those were golden days, and I don’t want to have any regrets, so I try to enjoy every morning.”
