After the Laxmi Narayan pooja at the Toshniwal house, Savita and Shreya meet a little girl who hands them a book. When they read into it, they realise that it’s the Padma Purana which describes traits of Alaxmi. Shreya starts connecting the dots to every mishap that they have been facing over a period of time. They realise that the deity they have been praying to is Alaxmi and not Laxmi. They create a tulsi rekha at the house and pray to Goddess Alaxmi to let go of them. Savita then holds Alaxmi by her hand and leads her through the boundaries of the Toshniwal household. Once again Maa Laxmi’s essence is pre dominant in the house, this time was also possible by the honest attempts of Savita and Shreya.

The presence of Alaxmi can be felt in the Toshniwal household as everywhere there is an atmosphere of chaos and godlessness. Unfortunately, Savita’s sister, Kavita (Nimisha Vakharia), sees this mishap as a new opportunity to take over Savita’s house and through trickery, she manages to forge signatures and evict her and her family out of the house. This crusade between one’s own faith and outside manipulation has existed since civilization started and is a true test of one’s devotion. Only Savita’s inner belief in Maa Laxmi can save her from Alaxmi’s wrath.

Tanisha considers her as family, saying “As a fellow actor, Geetanjali is very friendly, and understanding. She has been a guiding force throughout, and she also supports me a lot. She is super fun to shoot with, and every scene with her has been memorable. Geetanjali estimates that her onscreen bahu is “not just beautiful and talented but also a great co-actor. Her sincerity and dedication to the craft is why I like sharing screen with her. I love her enthusiasm and openness to suggestions. We have shot some great scenes together, but I have to say that my most favorite scene with her is the one where I reached out to her, not as a mother-in-law but as a woman and I think that is my favorite memory with her while shooting and I’ll always treasure it.”

Speaking about their rapport, Tanisha says “our saas-bahu jodi onscreen is very different from other jodis. They have an unlikely friendship which is blossoming with each passing day. Offscreen, we are great friends, she is like a mentor to me. What can I say, she is a professional actor, very disciplined and active regarding all scenes! We have an equation of mutual respect which I wouldn’t trade for anything in this world.As for our onscreen characters, I’m thankful to the audience for supporting us. On many occasions I have been told that people find our bond inspiring and as an actor it is very fulfilling to hear that.”

Commenting on their friendship, Geetanjali says, “Unless the offscreen rapports are sorted, it doesn’t translate well on to the screen. We get along very well and that shows in our work. To add to the festive cheer, my mom would make peanut chikki, which is definitely my go-to Sankranti dessert. My most cherished memories of this festival is watching my mom make til laddoos every morning, and then I would keep munching on those to my heart’s content. Geetanjali Tikekar essaying the role of Savita “The whole sequence was challenging yet a satisfying experience as an actor. To be able to perform such a varied spectrum of emotions in one character is every actor’s dream. It’s not the first time I’ve performed a stunt. But it’s a different experience than before. Playing with fire is never a good idea unless experts are managing a sequence this risky. I was scared but when I saw that the stunts are controlled and executed with all precautions in place, I went all in. The team has been supportive, they first helped me relax and then went with the process, step by step. The credit goes to these fabulous team, especially our director.”

Mahi Sharma essaying the role of Aditi “I have worked on a few shows before, but I have never had an opportunity to do any stunts. This fire stunt was my first ever, so I was excited and nervous at the same time. I have feared fire since I was a child but, the production team especially my director and co-star Geetanjali Tikekar helped me become more relaxed and comfortable and guided me through the entire scene. It was a great experience, and I am glad that I got to do something like this that helped me overcome my fear to a certain extent.”
