Time flies when you have friends together to work with. Director Hemanth Madhurkar shares how the shoot of Nishabdham was conducted swiftly and how Anushka Shetty and Subbaraju bonded well on the film sets.

The director says, “Anushka and Subbaraju actually look like brothers and sisters and she also calls him ‘Anna’. They actually have a very good bond and are very good friends since Baahubali and infact Subbaraju and me are very good old friends from the past 15 years so it was fun on the sets and we all worked like friends together.”

Adding more, the director says, “However, the pre production time took longer time, pick the locations, cast the stars but the shoot was very smooth and we shot the film in 56 days and that too in two languages Tamil and Telugu.”

Amazon Prime Video’s recently released Nishabdham has ticked all the boxes of a never-seen-before star cast and a good storyline. The suspense thriller has been appreciated and the beautiful mansion which also joins many of the dots for the story to proceed, has been loved by all. Director Hemanth Madhurkar shares the scouting process and how he finally found the perfect mansion.

The director sharing his first reaction said, “One of my friend, she introduced me to a lady and she showed me the house and asked that if it’s okay for Anushka’s house. Once I entered the house, I was surprised and the house was filled with very beautiful antiques and paintings. It was a very creative house so I immediately told Anushka that I have found a house for you and do you want to come and have a look at it as this is your house in the film.”

Adding more on how Anushka was impressed, the director tells, “When she entered the house, she was very surprised because the color patterns, the wall hangings and all the other things which were in the house were very creatively kept as Anushka would actually keep it in her house.”

Ending it on a happy note on how Anushka enjoyed a chat with the owner, the director further adds, “Anushka then said that can you please call the owner once I would love to meet her. The old lady then came and Anushka and that lady sat for hours discussing their interests and likes.”

Amazon Prime’s latest offering titled Nishabdham has a never before seen star cast and a unique storyline. The orphanage is an important element in the film that takes the viewers through Anushka’s childhood and how she grew up there and it’s all connected.

Director Hemanth Madhurkar shares how hunting the orphanage was a challenge and how that dream was fulfilled by a school. The director says,”I actually wanted a very ancient orphanage but unfortunately there are not many orphanages in the US and the ones there were, they were really small and tiny ones.”

Sharing his vision as a director he further shares,”In my visuals I needed a huge antique old orphanage which I wanted to show and in the film it’s actually a school.”

Ending on how the entire process worked in a co-operative manner the director ends by saying,”I called up the principal and then requested them if I can come and check the school for the shoot and the principal was very co-operative and they called us and that was the actual place I was looking for the film, that’s how we got it. We’re so lucky to get it.”
