Mumbai, 29th October 2026: #AbundantiaEntertainment, through its AI-focused creative banner aiON, alongside #invideo, has officially announced ‘Beta Builder’ as the debut movie kicking off their multi-film co-production deal. Directed by #HridayeANagpal, the project enters principal photography today in Mumbai, establishing the city as both its setting and creative launching pad.

In February 2026, Abundantia Entertainment and invideo announced a partnership to join hands for a slate of five AI-driven feature films. The partnership, with invideo committing a quantum of ₹100 crores over three years across the slate, brings together Abundantia’s proven creative and production expertise with invideo’s leading generative-AI video technology, with the aim of reimagining how films are conceived, developed and produced. True to that vision, Beta Builder is a hybrid production, pairing full-blown, live-action filming with AI-driven production to bring this unique film to life.

Beta Builder tells the story of Jai, a self-taught, genius architect from Dharavi who gets a chance to realize his dreams in the world of VR (Virtual Reality), only to discover that winning means far more than proving himself. An underdog in every sense, Jai must fight the system that holds him back, win the love of his life, and give his community a voice in shaping its own future. Rooted in one of India’s most iconic geographies and set against the limitless possibilities of a virtual world, the film is a story about ambition, belonging and what it truly means to build something that lasts. True to its promise of connecting with the youth, the film features a young and exciting cast led by Mayur More (of Kotak Factory & Black, White & Gray: Love kills) and Ashlesha Thakur (of The Family Man).
