“Working with Arjun Kapoor was fantastic. Actually, I was a little nervous when I went on the set the first day because he is a very big star and this was just my second project. Arjun Kapoor is one of the most down-to-earth actors I’ve seen. The first time he came on set, he actually introduced himself to us. It was very kind of him. Also, he doesn’t have any attitude and is a gentleman,” she said.

“He is not like one of those actors who would come on the set, complete their work and go. He would usually stay with everyone and was concerned about the scene and outfits that he and his partner were wearing. He thinks of everything from a 360-degree perspective. I really appreciate him for that,” she added.

Sharing details about her character and her experience, she said, “My character is of a simple lady who takes care of the house and the family. Her husband (Arjun Kapoor) is a cop and he has a busy lifestyle but like any wife, she has expectations from her husband and keeps nagging him about not spending enough time with her.”

She added, “My part of the film has been shot in and around Mumbai. We shot it in studios, auditoriums, roads, big apartments and most of it was in the car. That was a very unique experience for me because shooting in a moving car also comes with its challenges. However, it gave me a chance to interact with Arjun more. Though all my scenes are only with Arjun, I also wanted to share screen with Tabu ma’am, Naseeruddin (Shah) sir, and Konkona Sen. However,I am grateful for whatever I got.”

Rewati complimented director Aasaman Bharadwaj too for making it a smooth journey for her. She said, “Initially, I was a bit nervous to even start a conversation with him but he is so approachable and he lets you be who you are. He would always give you the space to try new things. He made the whole set so comfortable for everyone which made a lot of difference.”

“In fact, I remember when there was a dialogue and I told it my way and he did appreciate me and told me that this was better in my way. When it was my last day of the shoot I went to change and when I came out I saw everyone stayed back for me and they praised me. It meant a lot because giving so much importance to every character is a big thing,” she concluded.

Bhandarkar says, “All these cuts are from the track that focusses on a sex worker’s life in Kamathipura. The language, I’m told, is problematic. The language has been used to keep the story authentic and we are ready to accept an ‘A’ certificate. But removing so many words and important scenes will dilute the impact and essence of the plot. To retain the authenticity in the film, I had to keep these elements as a part of the narrative. We now plan to approach the revising committee.”

New Delhi: It’s hard not to be when you come across such instances of people in India violating social distancing norms. One such incident came forth on Thursday, when two Telangana ministers were seen participating in Rama Navami celebrations.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced 21 days lockdown to combat the deadly coronavirus. He had urged people to follow to social distancing so that community spread can be stopped. According to World Health Organization (WHO), the new rules of engagement call for maintaining a gap of one to two metres (or three to six feet) to prevent possible exposure when an infected individual cough or speaks.

On Thursday, the total tally of novel coronavirus cases in India reached to 1966. Of this, 1764 people are presently suffering from the COVID-19 disease, 150 people have recovered and discharged from the hospitals, one person migrated while 50 deaths have been reported so far.

There are at least 51 foreign nationals and 1915 Indian nationals among the total number of cases reported in the country. According to the Health Ministry, Delhi has reported 152 cases, 6 recoveries and 2 casualties. In Maharashtra there are 335 cases, 42 people have recovered while 13 people have died. Kerala has reported 265 cases, 25 recoveries and 2 deaths while in Rajasthan there are 108 cases of COVID-19 and three people were cured.

Madhya Pradesh has shown a surge as the tally reached 99 there with 6 deaths and zero recovery. In Tamil Nadu there are 234 cases, six recovered while one death is reported. Punjab has 46 cases of Novel coronavirus, 1 recovered and 4 deaths. In Uttar Pradesh there are 113 cases 14 people cured and two deaths.
