Indian Idol season 12 has kickstarted with the selection of top 15 singers across nook and corners of the country. The auditions this year were virtual and a few selected candidates were called in for live auditions. Judges Himesh Reshamiya, Neha Kakkar and Vishal Dadlani have selected best 15 from the lot and during the grand premiere the Top 15 sang the new anthem of Idol. These Top 15 of Indian idol 2020 is all set to make the nation mesmerised with their melodious voices.

The top 15 for Indian Idol 2020 are Mohd Danish from Muzzafarnagar, Sireesha Bhagavatula from Visakhapatnam, Anjali Gaikwad and Sayli Kishor Kamble from Maharashtra, Samyak Prasana from Delhi, Vaishnav Girish from Kerala, Arunita Kanjilal and Anushka Banerjee from Kolkata, Nihal Tauro from Mangalore, Sahil Solanki from Hissar, Pawandeep Rajan from Uttarakhand, Sawai Bhatt from Rajasthan, Shanmukha Priya from Visakhapatnam, Nachiket Lele from Mumbai and Ashish Kulkarni from Pune.

Singer Aditya Narayan is doing good job as a compère, boosting morales of all the contestants and it’ll be interesting to watch who’ll bag the coveted Indian Idol trophy as all are excellent singers.

Indian Idol 2020 witnessed its top 15 finalists for this year and the excitement is real! The contestants have raised the bar with their performances and have already latched on to the attention of millions watching the show on Sony Entertainment Television.

Visakhapatnam’s singing sensation, Sireesha Bhagavatula, who had earlier managed to impress the judges during the audition rounds, proved her mettle once again when she sang the song “Jiya Jale” on the Grand Premiere Episode of Indian Idol 2020. Her voice pierced melody into the hearts and minds of the judges as they went gaga over her performance. Judge Vishal Dadlani ecstatically said, “Your performance felt like as if I am in an A.R. Rahman concert! Your voice will be a great resource to the industry, God bless you!” Judges Himesh Reshammiya and Neha Kakkar had nothing but praises in her favor.

Sireesha could not believe that Vishal Dadlani compared her performance to that of being in an A.R. Rahman concert and said, “I am humbled to have received such compliments and this only boosts my confidence even more. I was a little nervous earlier but now I am excited and cannot wait to perform on stage again!”

Animal lover Aditya Narayan shares stage of Indian Idol 2020 with a Cow

Blessings come in any form on Indian Idol and this time it appears in the form of a cow. Farah Naaz, a contestant at Indian Idol 2020, is an avid animal lover and proves it by bringing her lucky cow on the sets of Indian Idol 2020.

On witnessing this scenario, host Aditya Narayan sprung to his feet and decided to share the stage with the cow and surprised the judges with his duo appearance. He confessed saying, “I too, am a huge animal lover, and it makes me so happy to see Farah share such a loving bond with her cow.”

The lucky cow was indeed lucky, as Farah delivered an outstanding performance and thoroughly impressed the judges as they said, “Your music and your bond with animals is so unique and special. It is moments like these that make Indian Idol so memorable. All the best and keep shining!” The judges’ comments brought a huge smile to Farah’s face and she replied saying, “I will always remember this moment and I am so happy to be performing at Indian Idol 2020, thanks to my lucky cow too! Contestant Shanmukha Priya ‘Yodels’ her way through the audition at Indian Idol 2020

The pride of Andhra Pradesh, Shanmukha Priya, a young musical wizard, is sure to give you goosebumps and double the music madness at Indian Idol 2020, season 12.

Shanmukha along with her parents, who are music teacher themselves, has been performing at various concerts across India. Yodeling being her unique talent, gives her immense control over her voice and reminds us of the evergreen, Kishore Kumar.

The three judges were flabbergasted over her yodeling performance and reacted saying, “Never before has a girl yodeled so well on Indian Idol! You have grabbed our attention now and indeed changed the Mausam at Indian Idol 2020! We can’t wait to see you perform again!” On hearing this, Shanmukha, with a huge smile replied, “My parents have always encouraged my decisions in music and today I am here because of them. The stage I always wanted to perform on is right here and I am extremely happy!!”
