In a stunning display of talent and unity, contestant Hansvi Tonk and her choreographer Anuradha Iyengar will deliver a performance dedicated to her fellow contestants and choreographers on the song ‘Tu Jo Mila’. Talking about the beauty of friendship, the singer will add, “Friendship is such a beautiful relationship, made by god. Friends are those who will just sit with you, even without having any conversations. I do have many friends, but I spend most of my time with my songwriter, Jaani bhai. Akshay Pal further adds how the three judges and Remo taught him everything about dance saying, “Sir, I have learned dance watching all of you. Now, that you are in front of me, this feels like a dream and I have been manifesting this. When I first started dancing, there was a dance competition that I participated in and Remo sir, you were a judge in that. Its been ages now, and you won’t remember. You did not know me but you are a very big part of my life. Now I am seeing you in front of me. You are my inspiration and I want to be like you.”

Moved by Akshay’s comment, Remo says, “its now a promise, that I will never forget you and India will never forget you!”

Furthermore, Remo D’Souza will talk about his struggles in his career saying, “Akshay I have seen your journey. I know that you have struggled a lot. Even I have struggled a lot. I make films, but some films work, and some don’t work; you make one that does not work, the second one does not do as well as the third and then I stopped, as it takes a toll. Yet, I rose up again and challenged myself, to make myself better. That journey that you take with yourself is the best. This is your chance for a comeback. You will grow again, you will open classes again and get students. Never lose hope, keeping moving ahead. Also, when your classes start, your students will keep coming in. And, I want to be your first student!”
Akshay will then teach Remo D’souza a step as they perform on the song ‘Bezubaan’ from Remo’s own directorial ‘ABCD: Anybody Can Dance’. The performance will enthral the audience and end on Remo D’Souza addressing Akshay Pal as “Masterji”.

New Delhi’s Aniket Chauhan who is now called as the ‘Charlie Chaplin of Dance’ by Terence Lewis floored the judges in the audition round itself with his mesmerizing freestyle performance on the song ‘Ay Hairathe’ making him the first contestant to get selected in the ‘Behtareen Teerah’. Maharashtra’s Shivam Wankhede won hearts with his quirky personality that was showcased in his dance act when he performed the Bollywood style to the song ‘Ke Pag Ghunghroo Bandh Meera’; and it was so entertaining that Judge Sonali Bendre wished she could whistle for him! Hansvi from Uttar Pradesh performed a beautiful kathak rendition of the song ‘Oh Ho Ho Ho’ that compelled Judges Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapur to give her a standing ovation. Anjali Mamgai from Uttarakhand broke stereotypes on stage with her cutesy demeanour but powerful performance on the song “Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar” that wooed the judges with Terence declaring it to be a “chummeshwari” performance.

Hitting the jackpot, the contestant to be selected on the spot into the ‘Behtareen Teerah’ was Samarpan Lama from Maharashtra. With his brilliant contemporary dance to the song ‘Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai’, this talented lad danced his way into the hearts of the judges. In awe of his talent, judge Geeta Kapur applied kaala teeka on his feet. Dancing to the melodious song ‘Piya Re Piya Re’, Vipul Khandpal from Delhi created a beautiful atmosphere filled with sweetness and high on emotions! Judge Terence Lewis was impressed by the contestant as he captured different spaces of the stage. Leaving the judges speechless with a spectacular fusion of Katha and Freestyle dance on the song ‘Judaai’ in the mega audition round, Shivanshu Soni from Madhya Pradesh proved his dancing talent.

Punjab da puttar Ram Bisht moved everybody with his goosebump-inducing contemporary performance. His passion for dancing was narrated through his act and his never give up attitude had all three judges teary-eyed, with judge Sonali Bendre confessing that she could feel his emotions. Apeeksha Londhe not only impressed the judges with her impeccable dancing skill but also with her kind heart. Hailing from Maharashtra, Apeeksha left everybody awestruck with her soulful contemporary performance on ‘Teri Meri Prem Kahani’, paving her way to the ‘Behtareen Teerah’.

Akshay Pal from Madhya Pradesh was electrifying onstage with his brilliant popping skills to the song ‘Ek Pal Ka Jeena’. His battle partner Boogie LLB from West Bengal also enthralled the audience with his popping dance style to the melodious song ‘Dil Kyun Yeh Mera’. Their battle, however, was the high point of the episode as the duo danced to ‘Pyar Kiya To Nibhana’, setting the stage on fire and leaving the judges surprised. Their incredible performance made all the choreographers put their shoes on the stage as a mark of respect and admiration. The ‘Rahul and Anjali’ of India’s Best Dancer – Norbu and Sushmita Tamang from West Bengal not only charmed everybody with their cute friendship but also their solo power packed performance; making their way into the ‘Behtareen Teerah’ together. Norbu’s hip hop dance on ‘Gustakh Dil Tere Liye’ sent ripples of “awe” through the Judges. Terence Lewis compared the young dancer to Fred Astaire. When it came to Sushmita, she floored the judges with her fusion of animation and popping on the song ‘Manike’; setting the stage ablaze.

With such superlative talent putting their best dancing foot forward, the battle is set to get intense!

He will also talk about how Pandit Birju Maharaj was an artist who could say a lot without saying anything and praises Shivanshu for this trait akin to that of Pandit Birju Maharaj. Shivanshu’s parents will also go onstage to gift him a gold bracelet.

This was a “sukoon wali” act, I loved watching it. You took me on a journey. I feel very happy when dancers come on stage and I become a part of their journey. It was a beautiful journey where I felt like I was in a garden.”

Surprising the judges, Shubham shares that he is a self-taught dancer, and the performance was his own choreography. The talented dancer will also reveal that he has performed previously for reality shows and competitions because of his father who was his biggest supporter. Talking about him, Shubham will add, “Mummy would say study first and dance later, dad would say passion first and then studies.” On being asked where his father is, the judges would be in for an emotional shock as he lost his father a year and a half ago.

Shubham’s parents are his biggest cheerleaders and this performance on the stage of India’s Best Dancer Season 3 was his first performance in his father’s absence. Shubham would further lovingly talk about his father saying, “He would say “what you like, do that first, what others like, you do not have to do that.” I professed that I would like to dance and he supported me in every possible way that a father could support his son. Even if I would come home late at night after rehearsals, I would think my parents are sleeping but they would still be awake. There so many small things they used to look after. And, I just miss him a lot.”
