ZEE5’s recent web series ‘Jeet Ki Zid’ has become a sensation amongst the audience for its real storyline and treatment of its narrative. After striking the right chord across all quarters and creating a special place in the hearts of the viewers, ZEE5 exclusively brought the real heroes to the forefront i.e Major Deependra Singh Sengar and his wife Jaya Sengar in a heart-to-heart conversation with reel heroes i.e Amit Sadh and Amrita Puri.

Amit Sadh who essays the role of Major Deep in the series and Amrita Puri who plays the role of Jaya, recently had a conversation with the real life Major and his wife. Between the four of them, everyone shared laughs and had an intimate conversation about various things including how they agreed to have their story told, their struggles during the time when Major Deep went to Kargil, how the real love story began between them and much more.

Expressing his gratitude for being able to play such an amazing role, Amit Sadh shares in the video, “I had the privilege of wearing the uniform of the great Indian army again and to play and become Major Deep Singh Sengar along with my very very close friend and an actor I respect so much, Amrita who played the role of Jaya, Major Deependra Singh’s wife. It’s been a big bag of fortune for us and emotions and learning.”

Major Deependra Singh Sengar approved of the series and expressed in the video, “The show has been made really well, the portrayal of the characters is as real as it can be for a piece of art. It’s real in portraying the essence so I would say it gets a 10/10. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of it without such a strong support system, be it the army, my friends, my family and especially my wife.”

Actor Aly Goni’s first webseries Jeet Ki Zid is out and is getting some great feedback. Actors Amit Sadh, Sushant Singh and Amrita Puri star in the series.The series is directed by Vishal Mangalorkar. Aly had finished his portion of shooting before he locked himself in Bigg Boss house and now when the series is out he is inside the BB house. Aly is seen in a complete different avtaar in the series.

Aly’s sister Ilham and friend Jasmin Bhasin, who is currently out of the BB house, have already watched the series and can’t stop praising Aly. Jasmin says,”The moment Jeet Ki Zid started streaming, I binge-watched it. I just loved it. It’s a must-watch. Aly is too good in the series and he is looking very handsome. The persona of an army officer is suiting him a lot. I know how hard Aly has worked for the series, He auditioned during lockdown from home and got selected for this. The gyms were also closed that point of time but he started working out at home and shed weight since the role demanded it. I somehow feel he’s yet to get the right platform commensurate with his potential. I hope that after this series people get to explore more of Aly’s potential.”

Amit who is no stranger to essaying the role of an army officer shares how he feels every time he puts on the uniform. Amit shares, “I have immense respect for army, their dedication to serve the country is commendable and whenever I get a chance to play the role of an army man, I am always humbled.”

It is a testimony to the real-life story of Kargil war hero Major Deependra Singh Sengar who fought against all odds in different walks of life, be it the war or personal life. The series captures all of Major Deep Singh’s highlights and turning points in his life.

Not only did Amit undergo massive transformations that are visible throughout the series trailer but he also did most of the action sequences on his own, getting injured while trying to execute one of them but he kept on going. To start shooting, Amit lost over 20kgs in just a span of 14 days and gradually he gained muscle and weight to suit his look through the later stages of the series.

Amit Sadh shares on his major transformation for essaying the role of Major Deep in Jeet Ki Zidd, “Transforming our body and looks is a basic demand for an actor’s job. As losing 14 kgs was what it needed to respect the role, that is what I did. The process for sure is a little difficult but that is the least I could do to pay my respect to the role. Every step to this journey was thrilling and will stay with me for life.”
