Accompanied by his elegant wife, Parveen Dusanj, Kabir Bedi expressed his admiration for the vibrant collection of works. He said, “I would like to congratulate Dilip Mali on his exhibition inspired by Nature – the vibrant hues, emotions, trees, seas, and mountains… It’s a spectacular show that he has put together at the iconic Jehangir Art Gallery. This is a space where India’s most celebrated artists have showcased their work, and over the years, I have witnessed the works of so many renowned names here.”

Adding warmth to the event was the presence of Dilip Mali’s family, including his wife Sharvari and son Atharva, who cheered him on during this milestone moment. Well-known artists such as Bhaskar Hande who is also Dilip Mali’s mentor, and Padmanabh Bendre, Gautam Patole, Gautam Mukherjee, Satyendra Rane, and Jain Kamal, along with curator Sunita Sanghai, also graced the occasion.

Reflecting on the significance of art in today’s world, Kabir Bedi added, “In today’s times, when social media is consuming much of our attention, people have less and less time for the more beautiful aspects of life—art, creativity, and reading books… Jab tak hum apni zindagi ko alag-alag nazariye se nahi dekhte, uski complexity hume kam samajh aati hai. Art provides us with that perspective, allowing us to reinterpret and understand life in new ways.”

Dilip Mali’s solo show ‘Whispers of Nature’ will be on display at Gallery No. 4 of Jehangir Art Gallery in Kala Ghoda until 5th January 2025, before traveling to Vachi Art Gallery in Worli.

Famous actor Sachin Khedekar glanced all the paintings of Vijay Raut here very carefully and remarked that he found all the paintings of Vijay Raut very good and new. He makes paintings of experimental style, his paintings are of today’s era, the paintings of 2022 are all this. I am amazed to see his artistic interest. Is there more than one painting? He has drawn illustrations on various subjects such as Kingdom, Sadhu and 3D Motion Poster. He is a wonderful talent, I wish him all the best and my congratulations for his exhibition.

Maharashtra Police’s Special IG Krishna Prakash also praised Vijay Raut’s painting and said that there is magic in his art, he presents artwork in such a unique way that the beholder is amazed. 3D motion painting is his special art form for which he has also received many awards.

Also note that Vijay Raut has more than 30 years of experience as a professional artist, animator and film maker. He believes in experimenting and creating different types of art forms. He has served as the President of The Bombay Art Society. He has been awarded many national and international awards. Presently he is working as the Founder and Director of The College of Animation Bio Engineering and Research Amravati. Vijay Raut is also a social worker and while fulfilling his responsibilities towards the society, he is also running a primary school and an old age home.

His paintings have been exhibited at many prestigious places including Nehru Center, Jehangir Art Gallery. He has shown demos of painting and caricature in many schools and colleges, has given lectures. Vijay Raut has inspired hundreds of thousands of people as a guest speaker at many places including FICCI Mumbai. He has many achievements.

Vijay Raut, an alumnus of Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai, has been a fellowship awardee. Vijay Raut, who has a keen interest in the world of advertising, started his journey as an Illustrator and is at this stage today.

Vijay Raut thanked all the guests who came here and said that he always tries to do something new. What will happen if we follow the old pattern in 2022 also? That’s why I create pictures of the new age.

Known to showcase a mind-blowing variety of mesmerising artworks, this year organiser-artist Satyendra Rane has handpicked 40 talented artists from across the country to captivate your mind. Being held at the Jehangir Art Gallery from 11th-17th January, 2022, the art show cuts across media in paintings to bring water colour, oil, acrylic, pencil, Tanjavur, and collage together, and in sculptures to include works in brass, bronze, wood, stone—all under one roof. Some sculptures evoke meditative tunes in the onlookers’ minds, while others make us want to celebrate the wonder that is life…even in the times of the pandemic.

On this occasion photographer Hemant Sawant said, in my dreams I never thought that I would stand here in front of you as a passionate wildlife photographer. In 2016, my daughter Saloni became a turning point in my life and she dragged me into the world of wildlife photography. He thanked his wife Chitra and daughters for their cooperation in the journey of photography. He said that if this small effort of his would guide future generations, he would understand that his work was worthwhile.

Photographer Hemant Sawant has been traveling ‘jungle to jungle’ for the last several years. At the time of study of tiger’s lifestyle in the forests of Kanha, Bandhavgad, Panha, Melghat, Tadoba, Pench, Ranthambore, Jim Corbett, he captured important moments of tigers in his camera.

He has captured multiple emotions of Tigers through his camera, e.g. a happy and lazy tiger, aggressive and agile tiger, a tiger with a spruce move, the tigers running out from the water with friends, and a female tiger is taking care of her cubs.

In this exhibition, About 50 photographs have been presented and His experiences documentary video film have been arranged for the public. This exhibition will be open from 23rd to 29th November 2021, from 11 am to 7 pm to the public. Hemant Sawant has appealed to the people to “enjoy the tiger show”.

An exhibition of tiger photographs by photographer Hemant Sawant, which is based on the tiger lifestyle, is being held from November 23, 2021 at Jehangir Art Gallery. Sawant has been traveling ‘jungle to jungle’ for the last several years. At the time of study of tigers’ lifestyle in the forests of Kanha, Bandhavgad, Panha, Melghat, Tadoba, Pench, Ranthambore, Jim Corbett, he captured important moments of tigers through his lenses.

He has captured many mood of Tiger, viz. a happy tiger, a lazy tiger, an aggressive tiger and an agile tiger. A tiger with a spruce move, the clan of tigers running out from the water with friends, a female tiger is taking care of her cubs were also were shot through his camera.

In addition, videos have been arranged to listen to his experiences. About 50 photographs will be presented at exhibition and the exhibition will be inaugurated at the hands of Mr. Mukul Wasnik who is General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee and a lover of wildlife photography. This exhibition will be held on 23rd November at 5 pm and Mr. Kekubhai Kothari, an expert in the field of photography, as well as Mr. Suresh Shetty, former Health Minister and Photography practitioner and Director of Shari Photography Mr. Girish Mistry will also be present.
