Kabir Khan recently confirmed that the conversations are ongoing. “I remain in touch with every actor I have worked with in the past. Salman and I have worked on 3 films and we keep bouncing ideas. I would love to come back and do another film with Salman, but it has to be a correct story, correct script. We don’t want to reunite for the sake of announcements and proposals in the industry. It has to be a story we both respond to.”

He further added, “We have been discussing a lot of stories on a regular basis off late. If one of them hits the mark, it could be my next announcement for all you know,” he smiled.

Among the most anticipated possibilities is Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster that remains one of the most beloved films in Salman Khan’s career. While the buzz around the sequel has persisted for years, Kabir revealed that the team is treading carefully.

“There is some movement on Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. We have definitely spoken about it. In today’s day and age, when all franchises are doing well, we are being careful because we don’t want to make a sequel to the most popular film of the last two decades for the sake of it. Salman and I are in complete agreement that we need to come across a story that’s as exciting as Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” Kabir said.

Kabir, who has previously expressed his reservations about jumping on the franchise bandwagon, said Bajrangi Bhaijaan might be the exception. “We don’t want to make a film to cash in on the legacy of the first part. We don’t want to spoil the legacy of a beautiful film like Bajrangi Bhaijaan. If and when a story hits us – maybe now, or a year later – we will definitely bring Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2.”

“In my entire career, I have never followed the sequel route, but I know the kind of joy Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 can bring to the audiences,” he said. “I would love to direct it, but for the right reasons and not the wrong ones. I don’t want to do it for the sake of box office numbers, but to do justice to the legacy of a cult like Bajrangi Bhaijaan.”

While Salman Khan’s lineup remains packed with high-octane commercial entertainers like his upcoming and much awaited war drama, Battle of Galwan which has already set the internet talking and generated an intrigue amongst the audience ever since the first look was out. While speaking about the film, producer Sajid Nadiadwala said, “There are some films which you are desperately waiting, like the day you announce the film, you want the world to see the film.”

As he shared the video, Kartik Aaryan said, “It’s a sort of unsung story and a story of a heroism about which somehow, nobody knew. Because this story is very inspiring and very moving. It’s a story of human will power. So, it will inspire many people to achieve their dream and I am glad Chandu Champion happened.”

He further added, “It has a entire character graph from 16 to 17 years to the age of 70 years. Its was necessary to know how he is behaving at this time and specifically during the old age, how he is behaving at that time and on that, how, Kabir sir was directing. Second thing, we had workshops.”

“I think it started from there, when Kabir sir wanted an emotional sequence, specifically during the winning moment. It was indeed a crying moment for me and it got captured and it’s a beautiful moment. That’s the day, when he actually saw the emotional side of me as an actor.” Kartik concluded.

Director Kabir Khan further said, “From my interaction with him and few films that I had seen of him, I knew he would able to pull it off.”

He added, “As a director, what we look at is basically, can I push him or her into a certain zone for my character, I got it from Kartik.”

To push him and certain sense of reinventing and present a very well known star in a completely different light. Speaking about his experience, Aroh shared, “This was, I think, my second or third day on the shoot. We were in Wai, Maharashtra, which was one of the most beautiful locations I’ve ever shot in. We had created an under-construction road there, so we were facing extremely tough shooting conditions. There was a lot of harsh sunlight, a lot of junior artists, and a lot of dust and dirt. Despite that, we shot there for two days, and it was a really nice experience. I believe this was the first time I had a lot of interaction with Kabir Khan sir and Sudeep Chatterjee sir. Sudeep sir, who is one of the finest DOPs in India currently, happened to see my first film, Rege. He had also worked on the film Thackeray, directed by Abhijit Panse, who directed Rege. So, it was a big hit, and Sudeep sir recognized me. We had a lot of interesting chats that day.”

He further elaborated, “Kabir sir was personally very happy with my work. Even the makeup took a lot of time to create the look; I was covered in dust and dirt from head to toe, but it was a fun experience.”
