“I think for me, I never felt that looks are important. For me, looks don’t matter but heart does. And I always had a thought in my mind that I am God’s special child and whatever he does do for the best. I always feel he has my back. I feel people should understand that everyone is special in their own way. God has created everyone special. We should praise ourselves daily,” she says.

With so many shows and movies on body shaming, it has reduced. However, we have a long way to go, she says, “Definitely it is creating awareness but acceptance in the society has a long way to go. Especially in rural areas. Everyone judges others as soon as they meet them. That’s natural and for that to change, you need to be brought up differently.”

However, there is pressure on celebrities to look a certain way, she says, adding, “Reaching that point seems tough as of now. But, slowly steadily, it’s changing. Physical and mental appearance both are important I feel. One should focus on everything. And cinema plays a crucial role in changing mindsets, I believe. Let us all strive for a better future.”

She adds, “To be part of the glamour industry, you need to look perfect and glam. I don’t feel any pressure but it’s your choice how you want to look. For going events or parties, make up is fine. But I think it’s nota priority for the gym. And for me, I love getting ready, putting on make up and going out, so it’s not hard for me.”

Ask her what love means to her, and she says, “Love, for me, is magic. Due so many hardships in my family from my childhood, it was difficult for me to love someone. But you know what love for me never faded. It was always there for me. I always believe someone is made for you by the creator. You have to trust the universe for it.”

She adds, “As a person, I show so much love and care. I am a very expressive kid in love. I am also an extrovert with all my feelings. I never lie and never hide anything. And I expect the same from the person. Meaning of love is always the same. Just intentions matter. Being practical is right but when your heart and mind fights, in love, you have to listen to your heart.”

Meanwhile, talking about her Valentine’s Day plans, she says, “Valentine Day is a special day for loved ones, the one who is in love, celebrates being in love. I think love is the answer for everything. Those people are lucky to find the right ones in their life. I will be celebrating this Valentine’s Day in Goa but with a twist, with my mom. It’s my mom’s birthday on the same day. So, I am taking her on a trip to Goa. And it’s her first time on a flight, so I am excited about her reactions. I will try to capture all the good moments.”

“For me, I think when it comes to the first move, I am an introvert. But as soon as I form a close bond with someone, I become overly extroverted. Initially, it was very easy for me to take the first step. But after some friendship betrayals and heart breaks It’s not easy for me to trust people. And I also grew a lot as a person. Kindness, in every human being, is so important. When we are kind towards everything, life becomes a blessing. So we should be thankful for every moment,” she says.

“Winter is here but I don’t like winters much as I am sensitive to cold. Thank god we get little to no winter in Mumbai. Delhi comparatively is too cold, chilly, and foggy,” she said.

“My favourite months are October November December because they are the festive months. But my favourite season is summer as you can go to beaches, wear bikinis and go to the pool in your favourite swimwear,” she added.

And though she revealed that she is not a big fan of winters, she confessed that she enjoys snowfall. “Kashmir is ‘Jannat’ for a winter holiday. But I have to wear at least eight to ten layers of clothes to cover myself from that cold. However, I love to watch snowfall and snow-capped mountains,” she said.

Kate’s favourite short-break destination is Goa. She said, “I am thinking of buying a home in Goa and starting a business over there. I love nature and the people there. I also love Maldives because it has beautiful beaches.”

She also admitted that being a part of the entertainment industry it can be difficult to go on long holidays.

“I think when I was doing TV shows it was very difficult to get holidays. But now I travel as much as possible to shoot content for my social media. I love to travel and explore new places,” she ended.
