A lot has been said about celebrities donating food to the needy. Many of the pictures of both the celebs as well as the needy have surfaced on social media. Here is what celebs have to say about it!

Kettan Singh: When I see posts of actors, celebrities and influencers or any privileged citizen going out helping people. Some also put up receipts of their donation amount, I understand some are genuinely doing this to inspire others, but still, I am not a fan of “Neki Kar Insta pe daal”. Charity should be silent, others should speak of it for years. I still believe “neki kar, dariya mein daal”

Amit Mishra: I feel there are two sides of the story. One says if you have to donate something to someone, it shouldn’t be publicized, that’s the entire point of donation. But the other side is that just because people see you doing good stuff, they might get influenced and it might motivate them to do the same. Even if you influence one person for doing a good deed, it’s worth it. In fact, a lot of people donated in the PM fund seeing big celebrities donate, a lot of celebrities motivated other actors to do the same as well. Just one thing that I am against is revealing the receiver’s identity. That should be taken care of as we should respect their state, they are helpless so as responsible individuals it’s in our hands to keep them away from our social media.

Ajay Kumar Singh: I understand a lot of celebrities are coming in the picture and they are basically trying to come and help others so that they can inspire other people to help others. I think is very important to help others daily wage workers who don’t have work right now due lockdown. They can’t earn, so they don’t have money which is understandable. I am sure people are also coming together to help with the correct intention. We can judge anybody just because we saw videos or pictures of them helping others.

Adaa Khan: I strongly feel charity should be done in private and shouldn’t be flaunted. As a celebrity, if it inspires others to donate, then one can endorse as a lot of people do listen to celebs. I feel it is not right for celebs who distribute food packets and stuff, to flaunt on social media. It’s a subjective decision which a celeb should take care of. But flaunting pics or videos is uncalled for. The identity of receivers shouldn’t be revealed on social media.

Ajay Singh Chaudhary: What really matters is the intention. If someone is doing this with the intention of publicity, then it’s not the right thing to do. But if someone is doing this with the intention of inspiring somebody, then it is a great thing too. You really can’t look at the video and decide or know the intention of the person, whatever the reason may be. Eventually, as long as the outcome is positive, as long as people are helping each other, that’s what really matters at this time. I don’t know why people are even thinking so much about these videos and giving them so much importance? The important thing is that they are helping someone and even if they are inspiring one person from it, it’s worth it.

Vijayendra Kumeria: My thought on this is that it’s important for influencers to motivate people to help others but there is a way of doing that. Revealing identities of receivers and revealing the amount of money, you are donating is not required. I personally look down on people who donate and show off for publicity on social media. I would never stoop down to such a level for publicity. ‘Gupt daan’ is still the best concept as per my understanding.

The post Some tele-stars say, ‘Don’t show off’! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

There have been constant talks around how content on TV requires a revamp. What adds to the worry, according to many, is how similar concepts and storyline are being followed by channels and show makers to gain TRPs. In fact, they go to any extent to hold high ratings and that often affects the quality. However, there are others who feel that TRP thing on TV isn’t new and it often gets the best out of people. Audience always wants something new and both producers and channels try and live up to that expectation. Here’s what actors have to say about the entire TRP driven game:

Ajay Singh Chaudhary
While Friday’s and box office decide the fate of films, TRP drives the TV business. The storyline is changed at the last moment and sometimes even unrealistic tracks are introduced just to grab viewer’s attention. By unrealistic I mean a dead person being brought back or what happens in some supernatural shows… But at the same time creative liberty is the order of the day. We are dream sellers, entertainers and need to satisfy the varied demands and liking of the viewers. So I think there are both good and bad of TRPs.

Kettan Singh
Daily Soaps are evaluated weekly on the basis of television rating point or TRP. If the track is not getting good ratings it’s changed and another twist in the plot is introduced to get the audience back. We have to understand if a show doesn’t do well then that affects its longevity and at the end of it affects the livelihood of every single person attached to it. Whenever a show ends earlier than expected imagine how many people lose their jobs. So I don’t blame the channel or makers.

Mohit Daga
As actors we should not be thinking about TRPs, rather our job is to give our best performance. I believe creative changes are done to experiment with tracks and see what works and what doesn’t. There’s nothing bad in that because TV shows must live up to the TRP standard to survive. If a show does well, more viewers mean more ads and more revenue generation. But yes that doesn’t mean we can go overboard just to top the charts.

Avinash Mukherjee
Daily soaps don’t have stories planned for a longer time. Here things change every day. The growing competition and demand leads to people try different things, work on deadlines and extra hours. So coping with TRPs given the format TV follows isn’t difficult. When a track does well we all enjoy the success but when it doesn’t we end up saying how the TRP driven format has a bad effect on content. Rather than complaining I think we all should work towards following a healthy competition in order to get TRPs without compromising on the content. After all in today’s time, you need to keep your audience hooked with both quality and quantity.

Mrunal Jain
My job as a performer ends at enacting my part convincingly in front of the camera. For actors, creative satisfaction matters more than anything else. At the same time we can’t forget that we are in the show business. Only when a show works and earns better revenue, it runs for longer period of time providing employment to many. And the profit helps producers and channels make new shows which employs more people. So TRPs matter. However, that cannot be an excuse to compromise in quality because after all this is a creative field.

Farnaz Shetty
I don’t think TV is governed by TRP but yes it is one of the integral parts. I feel in the hope of gaining more viewers and TRPs, producers and broadcasters work towards introduces many twists and turns in the plot to figure out what sells and what doesn’t. Writers and creative heads do spend sleepless nights. To be honest, apart from the art of it, we all are here to make money as well. And I agree all these often affect the quality of content. But as an artist one can’t do much about it.

The post Many Tele-Actors believe that the TRP drives the TV business! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

Sridevi’s sudden demise in 2018 came as a shock to everyone. The late actor continues to inspire generations through her body of work. She made many fall in love with her performances, her portrayal and presence would light up the screen every single time. Popular TV actors tell us about what they admire about the superstar, their favourite Sridevi film and more. Read on:

Sharad Malhotra: I like Mr. India, the film has a sizzling performance by Sridevi and her comic timings are excellent. I loved the way she danced to the tunes of Hawa Hawai. I think she killed it in Kaate nahi katte din ye raat. I am one of her diehard fans.

Avinash Mukherjee: I loved Sridevi in Chaalbaaz. Her double role has me in splits every time I watch the film.

Meera Deosthale: It’s Chandni for me. Besides her performance and expressive eyes, her sarees became a rage. Tere mere hothon pe is my favourite song.

Shrishti Jain: Sridevi’s performance in English Vinglish is something that usually leaves an impression on whoever watched the film. She’s an inspiration to many of us. She had the ability to put life to all the characters she had portrayed on screen.

Kettan Singh: I would take the name of Chandni. The film is an epitome of romance. No one can ever play Chandni the way Sridevi did and take our breath away.

Nilam Kenia: I like Chalbaaz for Sridevi’s double role act and Sadma for the sensitivity. Both the stories are unique in their own way.

Chandni Soni: I loved the film Chandni. Sridevi’s style statement was terrific. I can watch the film a thousand times.

The post Tele-Celebs talk about that one Sridevi film closest to their heart! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

We are sure your Instagram, Twitter and Facebook newsfeeds are inundated with lovey-dovey pictures of couples wishing each other Valentine’s Day! Well, we asked TV actors if Valentine’s Day was just an excuse to show off on social media, and here is what they had to say!

Vijayendra Kumeria : These days people live an altogether different life on social media. Couples go crazy posting lovey-dovey messages to each other on Valentine’s Day. I have seen couples posting cute loving pictures on social media and all of a sudden you get the news that they are no more in a relationship. It’s quite funny.

Kettan Singh : Not only Valentine’s Day, every special day nowadays has everyone extensively posting on social media. Social media has now become a way of life for people. Still, I don’t feel Valentine’s Day is only limited to social media, try going out and finding a place to sit on this day, it’s so crowded.

Amal Sehrawat : I am very private about my Valentine’s Day’s celebration and spend the day with my loved ones. For me, it’s not for social media. I am sure there are many people like us who genuinely love the day.

Amit Sarin : Social media has become an integral part of today’s generation, everything including Valentine’s Day is an opportunity to show off on social media.

Sharad Malhotra : Social media has changed a lot of things, including the meaning of celebration for all of us. People get ready and pose only to post pictures on social media. A couple of videos he uploaded on the famous actor Pankaj Tripathi has gone viral and also reached the ace actor. Recently Kettan met Pankaj at the latter’s residence.

An excited Kettan says, ”I was doing few videos of actor Pankaj Tripathi. His fans were tagging him in those videos. Pankaj Sir saw all those videos and liked them. We have a common friend in actor Paritosh Tripathi who has also worked with Pankaj Sir in the film Ludo. So Pankaj Sir invited us at his place and we all had a great time with some delicious food. It was a great evening with lots of laughter and good company. I also said few lines from Mirzapur of Pankaj Sir and it was appreciated by all.”

He adds, ”I love his work in Gangs of Wasseypur, Mirzapur, Criminal Justice, and a film called Arjun Patiala in which he has a guest role. He is superb in it. What I like about him is there is no heroism or machoism in his personality yet he is so special. He makes everything super perfect with his acting and mannerisms. The whole aura he has is excellent. I love the pure Hindi he speaks.” So what tips did he has given you? “He told me I’m not fully aware of the talent I possess and only time will tell. He asked me to be patient and persistent. Consistency and perseverance are the keys to success” . Kettan can also imitate Hrithik Roshan, Javed Akhtar, Farhan Akthar, Shah Rukh Khan and many others to perfection.

The post Kettan Singh Says, ‘There’s no heroism or machoism in Pankaj Tripathi’s personality yet he is so special’! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s birthday falls on January 21. He would have turned 35 this year. His death came as a shock not just to people in India, but worldwide. The actor was found hanging at his Bandra home on June 14, 2020, and soon after his death a lot of his fans and well-wishers called it a murder. From #JusticeForSSR to #CBIForSSR started trending in no time, though they are back in action on his birthday, there was a long silence before too. So we spoke to a few celebs about the sudden silence after the uproar that was initially there, and here’s what they had to say:

Sidharrth Sipani: Sushant Singh Rajput was a popular name in the industry and film-goers. It may have taken a long time, but ultimately people move on and forgot about the incident. People in India have very short memories and they forget fast. After some time people will get other topics to talk about. This has been seen many times in the past, people talk about the issue and then forget about it. Hope justice will be done this way or the other.

Kavitta Verma: I know there is silence in the media and on Twitter, but all I can understand is the empathy for the father who’s still fighting a personal war within and with his predicament. It’s sad, but sometimes your loss or crises can be of less worry to others. The only person today who still must be suffering within is the father, who lost his son.

Mohit Daga: Sushant Singh Rajput was an inspiration to many and he inspired all of us as an actor. Being a television actor one needs lots of effort and blessings from god and then only a person gets destined to achieve those heights. And after receiving this success a sudden step has been a question mark for all of us. We all are still shocked and it feels bad that Sushant today is not between us. At times when I see his hoardings or poster anywhere on social media or any OTT platform, it feels like this was not meant to happen. I didn’t know him closely, but when I had met him on the sets of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ while I was doing ‘Ek Mutthi Aasman’ there was a combined episode which we had to shoot during which I had some interaction with Sushant. Ankita is a good friend as we both were a part of Zee Cinestar Ki Khoj. But yes, it is disheartening to accept that Sushant Singh Rajput is no more, but today on his birthday, I would want to wish that wherever he is, god must have been kind to him and may his soul rest in peace.

Malvi Malhotra: SSR was one of the finest actor’s in our film industry and his sudden death was a shock for everyone. On his birthday, I just wish that his soul rest in peace and the hashtags and the campaigns which were trending and the protests that were happening after his death everything was temporary, nothing lasts forever, people move on with life and time. People might even forget that there was a person like SSR, only the close people or family members will remember him. The father who lost his son will remember him, but I don’t think normal people will do. The outflow of anger inside people is temporary, with time it vanishes.

Rohit Bhardwaj: He was a great personality and I would like to wish him that wherever his soul is, I hope it is resting in peace. His career, life, and death made headlines, but now everyone has moved on. There might be some people who haven’t moved on yet ,but the level at which his case was sensationalized that has come to a standstill because some evidences were not found. The case got weak, but I hope he gets justice. I support his family and will do till the time it is revealed what happened with him and the case concludes. The audience might forget him after a while and the buzz might get less, but he will always be remembered in the hearts of those who loved him and the people who were his fans including me. I wish that the silence doesn’t prevail for a very long time, the trends and hashtags should be continued till he gets justice and people should support him and his family.

Kettan Singh: The film ‘The Dirty Picture’ had a dialogue by Naseeruddin sir which said ‘Jab Sharafat ke kapde utarte hain tab sabse zyaada mazaa shareefon ko aata hai’. Today when we see all the things which happened with Sushant Singh Rajput and the way it all was catapulted to another level, it feels like a lot many people used that for their benefit. But there were a lot many genuinely concerned people who joined trends to know what happened with Sushant Singh Rajput and they are concerned to date. But the people who did it just for increasing their numbers and to gain TRPs are living in a bubble according to me. Their bubble will burst at some point in time. After the report given by AIIMS that he committed suicide, a lot many people who were concerned calm down themselves. But the fans and well-wishers including me are still there and will have him in our prayers and I would wish all the people connected to him and his family a lot of power, strength, and a lot of mental peace. I feel everyone should wake up, read about him, understand that mental wellness is important.

Ajay Singh Chaudhary: I wish Sushant was alive and he could have celebrated his birthday with people around him. Yes his death made headlines and, now everyone has moved on but that’s the bitter truth and that’s a fact that life has to move on. Yes, there were a lot many hashtags and trends moving around earlier, which are nowhere to be seen anymore. We all have seen a lot after his demise on news channels regarding different narratives which came relating to his death, a lot many people, political parties got involved blaming each other and a lot of things happened. But he has left. CBI got involved, but still, none of us knows the actual reason for him to take such a drastic step. We all have learned from this incident be it the entertainment fraternity and normal people and it became a lesson to all. I feel the family should be given some privacy and the unnecessary campaigns held by some people who were behind them should be taken off. I support the investigation, the truth should prevail, but the drama which took place and who took advantage of this scenario was very wrong according to me. We should be sensitive about things. I am very sad about his death and I pray for him every day and I hope he is happy wherever he is.

The post With heavy heart, Tele-Celebs wish Sushant Singh Rajput on his birthday anniversary! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

2020 has been a blur as most of the year has been spent sitting indoors, breathing through masks and sanitising every possible surface. Well, not anymore! The vaccine is out and the drive to administer it has already started. Here is what these actors feel about the medicine. From waiting to see side effects to administering it immediately; here’s what these Celebs feel about the upcoming Covid-19 vaccine drive.

Adaa Khan : I think as responsible citizens, we all should take the vaccine and only then I guess we all can roam around freely, travel freely and meet people without hesitating too. I hope after this vaccine, we all will be able to live a normal life like before and I hope that this vaccine works around for everyone. First, I would really prefer that the people who really need this should receive it like frontline workers, 60+ aged individuals and then when it’s time for us, we should take it as well.

Nishant Singh Malkhani : I’m really happy for all the health care workers who have been the frontline warriors against this pandemic. They will receive these vaccines first along with senior citizens and people with higher risks of infection. I am not yet too sure if I will take it but that’s because I feel I’m very young and have a strong immune system and a healthy lifestyle. I want to wait and see the side effects as well as the power of the medicine before I go in for it.

Nilam Kenia : I am not really sure if I will take the vaccine or not. Any vaccine once developed takes years to show its effectiveness and side effects that come with it and I feel if one’s immunity is strong and one doesn’t really have underlying health issues. I don’t really see a need to take a vaccine but it also depends on what the authorities decide. So, I would first wait and watch before deciding anything on taking the vaccine.

Nitin Gupta : I have attended the covid vaccine trials with special permission for researching a film, and realized that the Indian vaccines have yet to complete their phase 3 trial which is the most important step in proving efficacy. If the government mandates it then I will definitely take the vaccine, otherwise, I will wait till proper efficacy and safety results are out after completion of phase 3 trials and choose my vaccine accordingly. I know some of my doctor friends in the USA have taken their version of the vaccine safely. The Oxford vaccine seems promising, however.

Vijayendra Kumeria : We all have been waiting for the vaccine and the drive will start soon. I want to take the vaccine but will have to be very sure about the results and how well it works and if there are any reactions etc. which we shall know only after it’s administered to the first lot. I am optimistic that it is safe and it works and gradually gets available to everyone.

Aanushka Ramesh : The vaccine drive will start soon and I think it is essential for elderly and high risk people to take the vaccine. However, I personally might not take the vaccine yet. No one knows anything much regarding the potential side effects yet so I will wait and watch to see how effective it proves to be. I’m planning to focus more on building my immunity through a healthy diet and lifestyle, exercise etc. and continuing to take the necessary precautions.

Zayn Khan : The vaccination will soon be available to us and I know a lot of people couldn’t be happier. I am also thrilled that the pandemic will end soon with the vaccine. However, I am a bit unsure if I will go for it or not as I am someone who makes sure to get to know everything about a medicine before taking it and, here, we have still not got all the information regarding this vaccine. I hope things are clear with time.

Kettan Singh : I am so happy that the vaccine will be provided to us soon. My family and I have been so careful this entire time and I am thrilled that we will be able to finally take a medicine which will help us stay away from Covid-19 permanently. Of course, I would want that the vaccine is first given to the frontline workers and senior citizens as they are the ones who need it the most.

Sharad Malhotra : This entire year has been very challenging for us as we have all been locked up indoors, scared of contracting Covid-19. I am happy that the vaccine will soon be available and we will be able to get out of this traumatic situation. I will be taking the vaccine but only after it has been provided to the frontline workers like doctors and nurses who are taking care of Covid patients.

Mrunal Jain : I am very relieved to hear that we will get the vaccine soon. I have left no stone unturned to protect my family from this deadly virus and now I am happy that soon we have a permanent solution. I am so happy that thanks to the vaccine, this pandemic will end soon.

Abhinandan Jindal : I am happy that we will have the vaccine soon but I am also concerned about its side effects. I am not sure what they will be and that is something which is making me unsure of whether to take it or not.

Sucheeta Trivedi : I will research about the vaccine and if all is well then, yes, I will take it. But I am not taking it without doing proper research. And my first priority is my parents because they are old and they need the vaccine the most.

Meera Deosthale : Well, it’s an amazing thing that they have come out with Covid vaccines so soon. Yet I am not sure if I will be up to take the vaccine right away or not. From whatever I have read, a vaccine is tested over the years before it’s finally safe to be given to people. Am sure they would have done all the testing for the Covid vaccine too but I will wait till we get to know that there are absolutely no side effects to the vaccine and it will for sure protect us from the Coronavirus.

Rajesh Kumar : I will take the vaccine for sure but since I recovered from Corona, I don’t know because of the antibodies, I might not be a priority. But the vaccine is good as after so much research, it has come out and we should take it. I think it will take a long time to reach 130 crore people because my calculation is that it took 15 years to get the polio vaccine to reach each and every child and here we are talking about 130 crore people, so it will take a little longer period of time to reach everyone. So, unless the production of vaccine and the drive to reach everyone is really in force, it will take a very long time.

Nivedita Basu : My husband just recently suggested that I get vaccinated once it arrives if I have to continue with all the work but I am not very excited about it or being the first person to get vaccinated. I think completely opposite to it and I am okay with my body fighting with the virus. It has actually a very faint chance that I might get vaccinated in the coming few days if it is launched because I am the person who doesn’t want to experiment on myself. I would rather wait for its success and wait for the news to come that the vaccine has helped in containing the virus then maybe I might take it, but at the moment, I am not very excited.

Ajay Singh Chaudhary : It is very good news for the world that our scientists and the medical team have been able to make a vaccine for Covid-19 and I hope we all will be able to get out of this situation which we all are facing right now. I am going to take the vaccine for sure because of the way Covid has spread, I think it is very necessary for everyone to take the medicine. It is very scary to travel or go anywhere due to this pandemic spread. And yes, I wish it starts as early as possible with the people in preference first, especially the frontline workers.

Suhuhii Joshii : It is great news that the vaccine drive is going to start soon and I am, of course, going to take it. When we were small, we used to get vaccinations for many diseases due to which we all are safe till now. So, I will definitely take the vaccine as it is what will protect us against this deadly virus. Right now, we are so scared when we step out of the house, or are travelling or shooting or doing any outdoor chores so maybe after the vaccine comes that fear will go away.

Manit Joura : Firstly, I would like to congratulate everyone that finally the vaccine has come. Yes, it has come after a long time and it is a win-win situation. First, I think, health workers, security forces, aged people would be given the medicine and then the common people, which is great. But even after the vaccine, we should take proper precautions. I am taking proper precautions suggested by the government and I am not in a hurry to take the vaccine, I want to observe, see, read and know the experiences of those who take it.

Rohit Chaudhary : It is a great initiative and I feel the doctors, nurses, security forces etc. deserve the vaccine first because they are the people who are important, as they are working in order to keep others safe. And yes, when it’s the time for others to take the vaccine, then we all should take it as well because it is safe for us. It took time to be made but it was necessary and I would advise everyone to take the vaccine.

Pranitaa Pandit : I am super excited that finally it’s here and I am glad that we are not the ones who will have to wait for months after it is released. Though we are not the first ones but not the last ones at least. I am very happy about it and I am really looking forward to it, though I won’t be taking it immediately, but yes, I will be taking it in the near future. It is a nice initiative from the government’s side to make the certification in good speed and make sure it is safe for all of us to take. As it is coming out on a very auspicious day which is Makar Sankranti and I hope this year 2021 makes it normal for all of us like before.

Malvi Malhotra : I am so glad that the vaccine for Covid-19 has come in the market and this will play a very important role to stop this pandemic and provide us protection. The government has already said that people, who are at a higher risk, will be given priority so all these frontline workers, health workers, doctors and also the old aged people who are above 50 years will be administered the vaccine first. I can wait till the vaccine is available for everyone in the market and I would wish everyone to be safe.

The post Tele-Celebs appeal everyone to be a responsible citizen and get vaccinated first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

National Youth Day is observed on January 12, and we spoke to a few celebs about the role of the youth of India to take our country ahead on the world map, here’s what they had to say:

Abhinandan Jindal: First youth needs to understand their powers and potential plus how much they can contribute to national growth. I am not against any source of entertainment but when I see today’s youth is totally involved in TikTok and PubG, I think these people should not talk about dipping economy and unemployment. I am happy these applications are banned. What is important is that youth should focus on work and career.

Mohit Daga: To me, the younger lot needs to stop copying and trying to imitate or strive to be like the “west”, we need originals, a lot of individuality is what we need. Taking inspiration is alright but sticking to one’s cultural roots is a mix of hard work and smart work and also a smart way to use the internet (social media branding) would help them. The youth should be the flesh and older generations the bone, I think younger people should come forward to form organizations, profit and non-profit, and politicians should have young researchers to be updated with the trends. Covid-19 has changed our attitude and perceptions about life.

Sidharrth Sipani: We are a developing country with a large youth population. More than half of our population is of the working age. Why can’t more youth be motivated to consider politics right from the school itself. Strengthen their belief in democracy. Not just aspire for a white-collar job in foreign countries for that enough jobs need to be made available. Currently, we are facing a lot of challenges. The youth has the ability to bring a change and stop the violence. Yes, of course, they need support at a family level, society level, and national level, they can shine, but only through the support of the government.

Kettan Singh: The youth has to be aware of what is going on in the country, they should be goal-oriented. Life and time are both precious and they need to understand that. Technology is for us, we are not for technology, so youth is wasting time on technology in the form of internet surfing and WhatsApp chatting even when it is not needed. Youth should understand their power and be responsible.

Jasmin Bhasin: Youth has the power in any nation. They need to understand their power and exercise their rights to utilize resources. They need to be sorted about what they want and they should contribute to the society and country, just cribbing and complaining about what is not right doesn’t work. The result-oriented approach is the necessity. Pendamic has changed our perspectives too.

Mrunal Jain: Youth needs to take an active interest in the all-round development and progress of the society and the nation. They should have positive approach towards democracy, society and the world. They should also contribute to create new job opportunities, and youth shouldn’t be obsessed with the idea of shifting abroad for the career. There are enough opportunities for talented people in India too. Youth should learn to love pets. Pets can teach you what unconditional love is all about.

The post Young tele-actors share views on ‘National Youth Day’! first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.

The Covid-19 cases in India have crossed the 10 lakhs mark. And while the government is still advising to take proper precautionary and safety measures, many are still not following social-distancing. Actor Kettan Singh says people who are not following or maintaining social-distancing are stupid.

“It is stupid that people still don’t realise how important social-distancing is, despite so many warnings. This is the only thing that can defeat Coronavirus. I don’t know what are they thinking but I would like to publicly say that these people are really stupid to not maintain social distancing,” he said.

He also feels that people are not that scared of Coronavirus now as they were earlier and added, “At least be cautious when you step out and take precautions that are needed. But right now, looking at the way people are stepping out, it feels that they just don’t care.”

And what precautions is he taking? “I am doing the basics. I always carry a sanitizer, I always have my mask on and I even carry an extra mask. I always carry food and water from my home, and I carry two sanitizers one I keep in my pocket which is like a spray, and the other one is the normal dispenser sanitizer that I keep in my car.

“If I have to go to a place and I see there are like seven to eight people, I don’t get out of my car, until and unless the person who has called me tells me that we are clear now and that I can come. Because I live with my mother, and she is above sixty, so I make sure I don’t go outside and carry the virus inside my house. So, I take little extra precautions,” he said.

The Coronavirus pandemic has increased the workload in every house because it is advisable to clean anything and everything that comes from outside. Kettan says he has always been a cleanliness freak and believes that it is a good change.

“I don’t know about others, but I am anyways a cleanliness freak. It is a good thing that people have realised this because many of my friends live so unhygienically, I don’t know how they are living in the current situation. I hope this positive change of cleanliness has affected them too. It’s high time that we all became cleanliness freaks,” he said.

The “Jigariyaa” actor feels that the audience’s taste must have changed after being locked inside their houses for over three months and added, “I think the taste has definitely changed with television channel going completely mythological now. People are watching mythology like anything. The stupidity that comes along with a different kind of content can also be seen in the desperation of the current shows to come back on-air. It has really taken back the creativity they could have had.”

He further added, “But I see seriously cannot comment on the kind of content that is being churned out now, but definitely the audience’s taste has changed. They might have got bored of watching the same thing from the past three months. I can’t watch a series because they have many parts and they are too slow so I prefer watching movies.”

What are you doing to keep your mind at peace? “I work out, I sing and I also play guitar a lot. So working out and playing a lot of music and singing keeps me at peace,” Kettan concluded.

The post Kettan Singh strongly objects to people not maintaining social-distancing, calls them stupid first appeared on Latest News, Breaking News, National News, World News, India News, Bollywood News, Business News, Politics News, Sports News, Entertainment News - CineBuster.
