Now he enters Lock Upp 2. Reality television hosts are often judged by how much noise they can create. However, Lock Upp demands something more. The show isn’t built around everyday disagreements or harmless house politics. Its appeal brims from pressure, secrets, ego clashes, emotional unravelling. Contestants are constantly confronting versions of themselves they’d rather keep hidden.

And Riteish might seem to function as an astute observer in the show. A contestant can prepare for confrontation. It’s much harder to prepare for someone who calmly points out contradictions and waits for an answer.

In a format like #LockUpp, the audience expects contestants to be challenged, not simply entertained. They want uncomfortable questions. They want evasive answers exposed. They want the host to push where others might retreat.

And expectations are high that Riteish will bring a different energy altogether – and the audience is keen to see how it fuels the show. And if that happens, Lock Upp could discover something every reality show is searching for – a host who doesn’t need to dominate the room to control it.

This time, the inmates may find that the calmest person in the room is also the one asking the toughest questions.

‘Lock Upp’ is churning out good entertainment for audiences with its unique format that makes it one of the most highly viewed shows on OTT since its launch. The show is known for having the most controversial celebrities locked in jail, but this incident has shaken up everyone.

It all started with Zeeshan having a heated-up argument with Azma after she passed an inaccurate statement about Zeeshan’s girlfriend. This made Zeeshan angry and he started to scream at Azma. The fight went to the next level when Zeeshan started to destroy Azma’s bed and make-up materials and reacting to his outburst, Azma went to Zeeshan’s bed and threw away his protein powder. This only angered him more and his ensuing behaviour was way beyond acceptable norms.

The Jailor Karan Kundrra was apprised of the fight and the repercussions of Zeeshan’s unacceptable behavior is for all to see. Zeeshan’s elimination was immediately decided upon and Karan will mince no words delivering this elimination. The Jailor is clear about his reaction to the unfortunate incident. This should send a tough warning to all other contestants that all stakeholders of Lock Upp will not tolerate anything that demeans or appears to be derogatory to another human being.

Let us tell you that it is not only Ektaa who is impressed by Payal Rohatgi’s strong game, but host Kangana Ranaut is also slowly beginning to understand Payal’s honesty to her game and appreciating it. Looks like the rest of the inmates will have to follow Payal Rohatgi in keeping their game clean. So whether or not she is cornered by hyenas, this lioness roars at the forefront of the show with her integrity and sharpness. If that isn’t bad ass, what is.
