A special screening of the movie was held for BJP Maharashtra President Chandrashekhar Bawankule where he was given immense respect and hospitality. The BJP President was immensely impressed with the dynamics and performances in the movie and praised the cast and everyone involved for their efforts and hardwork. He loved Isha Koppikar’s depiction of a politician in the film and how she carried the role beautifully.

The film depicts a power triangle involving a female Party Leader vying for the seat of a Chief Minister played by Isha Koppikar , a male lawyer, and another female legal, who is close to the administration. Lawyers and Journalists rule the movie with their strategies and plans to form the government.Isha Koppikar has given a spectacular performance in this film and keeps on receiving praise and love by audiences.

At the premiere night, actress Isha Koppikar expressed, “We made this film during the time of the COVID-19 crisis. The film is a political satire with a lot of humour, and it is for the first time I have played a political leader on screen.”

Adding to it, the ‘Don’ actress revealed, “It was quite challenging to play the role of a tough politician, and I thoroughly enjoyed essaying the role of Gulab Didi on screen. It was a delight to work with all the talented co-actors and I am overwhelmed that the film premiered on the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth.” Apart from this, actress Poonam Dhillon could not stop gushing about the film.

“The film is made on a good topic. It shows the political situation of the country with comedy and entertainment. Right from the film’s music to the performances, ‘Love You Loktantra’ kept me engaged. I must say that Ameet Kumar has essayed the role of a lawyer brilliantly”, Dhillon quoted. The celebs not only showered praise on the film’s storyline but even appreciated Abhay Nihalani’s direction skills.

The filmmaker has brought out the best in every artist and has given justice to his work. The story of Love You Loktantra revolves around two political rivals, Gulab Didi (Isha Koppikar) and Mr Tyagi (Manoj joshi). Gulab Didi’s husband is the Chief Minister of Apna pradesh but she runs the government with a ‘remote control’’. Former CM Mr Tyagi wants his power back. In the election results both the parties win 44 seats each and the fate of government formation lies with two independent MLAs. Both the parties try to woo them and the police department too looks at this opportunity to make a quick buck. Two independent MLAs get kidnapped and Gulab’s son gets arrested for the same. To get him out of custody is a great task and no lawyer is prepared to take Gulab’s case. In comes London returned Advocate Jaydev Khattar (Ameet Kumar) who used to be more than ‘friendly’ with Gulab. A junior lawyer Divya (Sneha Ullal) joins him to solve the case. There’s an interesting tussle between them and Adv Malpani (Ravi Kishan). But the case starts becoming intricate as the days pass by. It’s interesting to watch who wins in the end and how.

The writing should have tighter as there are quite a few loose ends in the script. The dialogues are okay but old fashioned. Director has picturised a few scenes in a novel way but the overall impact is missing. The humour quotient is well utilised for entertaining and Ameet Kumar, Sudhir Panday collect laughs. Music (Lalit Pandit and Rohan-Rohan) is satisfactory and background score too is good. Sapna Chaudhary sizzles in her item number and Krishna Abhishek shines in a ‘male’ item number. Isha Koppikar makes a dashing comeback playing a steely and ruthless politician. Manoj Joshi is his usual self and does well in whatever screen time is offered to him. Ravi Kishan gives credibility to Malpani and Ameet Kumar tickles the audience’s funny bones. Sneha Ullal looks beautiful and doesn’t disappoint. Ali Asgar as a reporter Deepak Dalal is passable.

Overall Love You Loktantra, a political satire, balances the drama and comedy equitably.

He said, “It is a mind blowing song, it is one of my favorite songs. I always look forward to dance, because I love dancing, it is my passion. As soon as this song was offered to me, I immediately agreed as it is an amazing dance number.” He added, “Kashmera felt that her husband has become an item boy. I really liked this song.”

Ameet Kumar, who is making his debut as an actor with this film, said, “In court we work as lawyers, but acting as a lawyer was quite challenging. We shot during the pandemic. We had been thinking of making a film for a long time but I did not like any script. Then Sanjay Chhel gave me the story idea. What happened recently in the politics of Maharashtra is similar to what we thought about a year and a half ago, for the story of this film. It is a coincidence that our imagination turned into reality.

All the co-stars Isha Koppikar, Manoj Joshi, Sneha Ullal, Ravi Kishan were very supportive. Despite being an MP, Ravi Kishan took time out for the film. Director Abhay Nihalani worked hard for our film. Ali Asgar has played a very important role in the film.

This is a political satirical comedy. There is realistic cinema and at the end there is also a message for the audience. Isha Koppikars is playing the role of a CM in Love You Loktantra. The screenplay reminds you of Jaane Bhi Do Yaro.

Ameet Kumar said, “I have got offers for many more films but since I am a lawyer, I find it difficult to find time for acting. For this film too, I shot on a Saturday, a Sunday or on a government holiday. The film will release on September 2 in India.
