Raymond’s first teenage model was Sandip Soparrkar!

#SandipSoparrkar, the renowned choreographer recalls his first photoshoot with #Raymond’s. Sandip Soparrkar, who made his debut as a choreographer with the film ‘#Zubeidaa’ in 2001, has impressed us with his unique Latin and Ballroom dance steps in numerous Bollywood films like ‘#MangalPandey’ (2005), ‘#Kites’ (2010), ‘#DilTohBacchaHaiJi’ (2011), ‘#7KhoonMaaf’ (2011) and many more.

Soparrkar has worked with several popular stars like Hirthik Roshan, Ameesha Patel, Dino Morea, Kajol, Tabu, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Neha Dhupai, Priyanka Chopra, etc. After being quite popular in the industry, he has also judged many dance reality shows like ‘Dance India Dace L’il Masters’ (2010), ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’ (2013-2017) and ‘Dance Muqabala’ (2018).

He remembered his first work as a model in his teenage days with the renowned fabric company, Raymond, the 57-year-old choreographer and has shared a picture of the photoshoot, where we can see he was wearing a cream coloured shirt along with off-white suit and black tie and a specs in his hand. It was shot in 1980 by the then very renowned photographer Amir Char.

He wrote on Instagram, “Remembering the time…when I modelled for the most renowned Mens brand…Raymond..i was their first teenage model…this shoot ignited my love for suits.”

Despite being busy with ‘LSC’, Aamir Khan shoots for long-time friend Amin Hajee

The quote, “A friend in need is a friend indeed” suits Aamir Khan well, as he takes time out of his ongoing Laal Singh Chaddha film schedule to go to Jaipur for his over two decade long friend, Amin Hajee as he is shooting for his directorial debut.

Aamir’s friend and colleague, Amin Hajee has turned his hands to direction and Aamir Khan is more than a supportive friend as mentioned by a source.

The source revealed, “When Amin told Aamir about turning to direction with a psychological thriller, the actor was thrilled. He agreed to make a special appearance in the project, in a heartbeat. Over the next five days, Aamir will be shooting for the song with Elli Avram at a Jaipur studio, where a huge set has been created. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya, the number will be composed by Bosco and Caesar.”

Aamir and Amin go back a long way. Having been friends for over two decades. Amin has featured in Aamir’s ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Mangal Pandey’ as well. It comes as no surprise that Aamir has put hold over his own movie’s shoot, Laal Singh Chaddha by prioritizing his long time friend’s project which makes him a friend indeed, despite being the country’s biggest superstar.

The project Aamir will now be a part of features Kunal Kapoor and Amyra Dastur in lead roles. It is going to be quite interesting to see him do this special number and fans cannot keep calm for this.
