Today marks the day of release for ‘#MissionMajnu’ which is is a thriller movie directed by #ShantanuBagchi starring #SidharthMalhotra, #RashmikaMandanna and #ParmeetSethi. It is written by #ParveezSheikh, #AseemArora and #SumitBatheja.

The story is based on true events which should make it intriguing and something to really look out for. It is set in the 1970s, an undercover Indian spy takes on a deadly mission to expose a covert nuclear weapons program in the heart of Pakistan.

All set to release on January 20, 2023, during Republic Day week, Sidharth Malhotra’s fans enthusiastically expressed their love and support for the film. On the occasion of Vijay Diwas on December 16, 40 people were seen sporting the Mission Majnu jacket at India Gate. Vijay Diwas is observed on December 16 every year to recognize the victory of Indian military forces over Pakistan in the 1971 war. On this day, India pays tribute to all the warriors who have protected the country.

She shared, “Honestly, Dear Comrade gave us a lot of audience from the North. A lot of my fans or well-wishes have been telling me that I should do a Hindi film. But I felt it was too fast of a journey and it was going to take a couple of years for me to go to Bollywood. Mission Majnu happened during the first lockdown when I got a call from my manager about a Hindi film.”

On her second project, Goodbye alongside Amitabh Bachchan, she said, “With Goodbye, I read the script. If I can read a 150-page script in an hour and a half or something, it’s a go because that’s not normal. I usually take a few days. I felt I was the character. So, they just happened.”
