The doctor turned actor Ashish Gokhale rejoined medical practice when the country started its war against Covid-19!

While the outbreak of #coronavirus has brought the world to a standstill, the second wave of Covid has caused havoc in India. With people going helter-skelter for oxygen, beds, and medical supplies, doctor-turned-actor #AshishGokhale has an important message for the people of India. The “#MograPhulaalaa’ star emphasized on the need to stay calm during such times and further revealed how stress affects one’s mental health and body. “Imagine you go out for a walk where a few stray dogs start barking at you and you get scared. Your brain immediately recognizes the fear and sends a signal to the hypothalamus to release corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH). CRH then tells the pituitary gland to release adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), which further signals the adrenal glands to produce cortisol, also known as the stress hormone. The adrenal gland at this point releases adrenaline and cortisol in the bloodstream to repair the tissues. Adrenaline affects the heart rate, thus increasing palpitations and blood pressure whereas cortisol increases the blood sugar levels and narrows blood vessels, eventually affecting the happy hormones including dopamine, oxytocin, and endorphins.”

“This entire process takes around 2 mins or so. Now, imagine this process being repeated for the whole of last year, due to the constant fear of the virus and the damage it has caused to our immune system!”, he added.

He further added, “Positive thinking is the solution to these problems. Instead of saying ‘I will not be infected by the virus’, let’s say ‘I will not let this virus infect anyone!’ This will change your attitude and your way of living. Moreover, be educated about the virus and do not blindly believe all the messages you read. Take the suggested necessary precautions by the government like wearing your mask, maintaining social distance, sanitising your hands, eating healthy and exercising!”

On the Workfront, Ashish has been part of TV show Tara from Satara and films like Gabbar Is Back and Love Your Family. He will be next seen in a big-banner untitled film by Section 375 Director Manish Gupta and Marathi film ‘Lagna Kallol’ directed by Mohammed Burmawala. The reel-life actor rejoined medical practice when the country started its war against Covid-19 and has completely dedicated his time to cure and heal patients.

Swwapnil Joshi’s next horror marathi film, “Bali” (बळी)

CineBuster Online | Updated — Thu, 04 Mar 2021 21:21:37 +0000

The much talked about horror Marathi Film “Bali” (बळी) is produced by GSEAMS, the producers of many hit films such as Mogra Phulaalaa, Bonus and web series Samantar 1&2, Naxalbari among others. Vishal Furia had shot to fame by his hit thriller Lapachhapi, released three years ago. In the backdrop of the success of Lapachhapi, Furia’s next horror film Bali is being eagerly awaited by the audience.

The Motion poster released on Thursday has a fearful face of a man with blood and images of a cross in his two eyes, depicting the environment of apprehension and agony. It also gives the sense of scary screenplay which could unfold some really scary moments with the tag line of कोण आहे एलिझाबेथ (Who is Elizabeth).

Speaking about the film, Director Vishal Furia said, “Lapachhapi was well received by the Marathi audience proving that they love the horror genre. Appreciating that, I really want to continue making horror films for the Marathi audience and this is another such attempt.” He also added, “with a star like Swwapnil, who has been loved by the audience, on board and maverick producers Arjun and Kartik backing my second horror film, “Bali will be much scarier and thrilling than Lapachhapi. I feel Swapnil’s talent as an actor has not been explored fully till date. And after meeting him, I was confident that he would be fit for this role. Plus, he’s a star and that will help our film reach the masses as well.”

Excited about the film, Swwapnil Joshi said, “I had promised the audience of the Marathi film that I would explore a new genre this year. This film is a small step taken by me in that direction. I am very happy to get into the horror space. I am happy that I have got an opportunity to do it with my favorite people like Kartik, Arjun and my favorite director in this field, Vishal. I am sure that we together could ‘scare’ the audience and make them enjoy it.”

He further said, “If you think of it, barring Vishal’s Lapachhapi, the Marathi industry has never had horror films per se. There were horror comedies, but not films that gave you sleepless nights. I think Bali will fill that void. What’s more interesting is that the film’s story induces fear and not the usual jump-scares or loud music that Indian horror films try to make you scared with.”

We are happy to venture into a new genre with Bali. And who better than Vishal Furia to direct this horror film? His Lapachhapi is considered as one of the best horror films in recent times. We also have one of the top actors of the Marathi industry, Swapnil Joshi, in the lead. Even for him, this is an opportunity to explore a different genre, says Producer Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar from GSEAMS.

Motion Poster of the new and much-awaited Marathi horror film “Bali” (बळी) presented by Arjun Singgh Baran & Kartk D Nishandar and produced by GSEAMS released today. “Bali” Horror film has been directed by Vishal Furia, while Swwapnil Joshi is in a key role in the film is set to hit the screens all over the Maharashtra on 16th April 2021.
