Actress Nimrat Kaur, who has carved out a distinct identity for herself in the film industry, is once again set to impress audiences with a powerful performance. In the much-awaited third season of the acclaimed web series The Family Man, she plays a fierce and intense character. During an interview, when our Sr Editor Keertikumar Kadam asked her, “Nimrat Ma’am, did you feel any pressure while working on The Family Man?” she responded with her characteristic honesty.

She said, “To be completely honest, I didn’t feel any pressure at all. In fact, working on The Family Man was a beautiful, thrilling, and highly motivating challenge for me.”

Nimrat continued, “My character ‘Rainbow’ in the series is a strong, multi-layered woman who lives life on her own terms. Roles like these don’t come often. Every response, every compliment I’ve received for this character has felt truly special.” She also shared that working on set with so many seasoned and celebrated actors was an unforgettable experience. “To be part of such a huge and sophisticated universe, alongside such remarkable artistes, is an honour in itself. Simply standing next to them feels like attending an acting school. Listening to their appreciation for my work genuinely moved me. It has been both an honour and a privilege.”

Looking at Nimrat Kaur’s career, her journey has indeed been remarkable. Without any film background or “acting lineage,” she created her own place in Hindi cinema as well as on the international stage purely through her talent. She first made an impression with the indie film Peddlers, but it was Ritesh Batra’s The Lunchbox that truly propelled her career. Her restrained performance opposite Irrfan Khan earned her global acclaim. She then won audiences over once again with her impactful portrayal of Radhika in Airlift alongside Akshay Kumar. Nimrat has also made her mark internationally, with significant roles in popular series such as Homeland and Wayward Pines. More recently, she garnered attention for her performance in Dasvi.

Skyforce directors duo #SandeepKewlani and #AbhishekAnilKapur announced the wrap-up of the shooting with a song shoot. The year 2025 will kick off with the most awaited aerial action-drama film, ‘Skyforce’, set against the backdrop of the heated Indo-Pak tensions during the 1960s-70s.

The film marks the collaboration of two visionary filmmakers, Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. It features superstar #AkshayKumar alongside promising debutant #Veer, #SaraAliKhan, #NimratKaur, and #SharadKelkar in pivotal roles. The film is produced by #DineshVijans Maddock Films, Jio Studios, and #AmarKaushik (director of Stree 2).

The film has been shot at various locations, including Mumbai, Lucknow, Sitapur, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pathankot, the UK, and now Mussoorie, where a special song has been filmed.

Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur took to Instagram to express their gratitude toward the entire crew. Sandeep Kewlani shared, “I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who worked on *SKYFORCE*. The film was definitely a challenging one to bring to life, but it’s the dedication of the crew that made it possible.”

Meanwhile, director Abhishek Anil Kapur Director echoed similar sentiments, writing, “Best Crew. Can’t thank each and every one who worked on *Sky Force* enough. The film was surely a difficult one to achieve, but it’s the crew that made it happen”. He also billed Amar Kaushik as the backbone of *SKYFORCE*.

Sandeep Kewlani, who not only directed but also wrote the script, has been accompanied by talented writers such as Niren Bhatt (*Stree 2*, *Bala*, *Stree 1*) and Aamil Keeyan Khan (*Drishyam 2*, *Shaitan*). Together, they have created a gripping narrative that promises high-octane action and a pure cinematic spectacle that Hindi film audiences are craving.

The action in the film is choreographed by Craig Macrae, who is known as an action choreographer, action director, and stunt coordinator. Some of his notable work includes Jawan (2023), Pathaan, War 1 & 2, and other Hollywood blockbusters like Mad Max: Fury Road, Grimsby, and Alien Outpost. He was mentored by Indian action director Parvez Shaikh, known for Kill, Fighter, and the YRF Tiger & Spy franchise, among others.

Soon, the motion poster, teaser, trailer, and songs will be released by Maddock Films to build anticipation. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande, *SKYFORCE* is gearing up for its theatrical release on January 24, 2025.

We hope that Dinesh Vijan and Maddock Films once again win the hearts of the audience with a potential blockbuster. ‘Skyforce’ is all set to hit theaters on January 24, 2025, during the Republic Day weekend.
