Shannon K is back with her latest single, ‘#NotMyShade’—an upbeat, attitude-fueled pop anthem crafted to resonate with worldwide listeners and fit seamlessly onto top-chart playlists.

Produced by Mortiz Von Kreamer and Christian Kozomora, the song pairs polished production with a confident vocal performance, placing Shannon firmly in the space of modern international pop.

At its core, ‘Not My Shade’ is about clarity and self-worth, that moment you realise something isn’t right and choose to walk away without drama. The idea is captured through a simple metaphor: noticing lipstick on a partner’s collar and instantly knowing it isn’t your shade.

“‘Not My Shade’ is about that moment when you just know the truth. It’s playful, a little savage, but also empowering. I want it to make people feel confident and know their worth,” says Shannon K.

What stands out is Shannon’s effortless vocal identity. She doesn’t imitate global pop trends she naturally fits into them, delivering a sound that is crisp, expressive and instantly engaging.

With ‘Not My Shade’, Shannon K continues to position herself as part of a new wave of Indian English pop artists creating music with international appeal, confident, borderless and made for a global audience.

‘Not My Shade’ is now out on Spotify and Shannon’s YouTube Channel.
