Hosting the #FilmfareAwards2022 is special for superstar #RanveerSingh. The actor reminisces about the bond he shares with the #BlackLady. When it’s Ranveer Singh on stage, expect nothing less than fireworks. He remembers performing a few times and even winning a few times, and says that “some of the most cherished memories” of his life have been the “nights of Filmfare”. Ranveer still falls short of words to explain his favourite Filmfare moments.

“When I won for #GullyBoy, I received the trophy from #MadhuriDixit[Nene], which was again a life-changing moment for me. Then, to have #Deepika’s parents in the audience when she won #BestActor(Female) for #Piku, was yet another heartfelt moment for me. That was a special night as I paid my tribute to #Mr.AdityaChopra, my mentor, and on the same evening I also won an award for #Bajirao and my family was also there,” Ranveer continues, “I remember in one of the editions, #GaneshHedge choreographed our performance for #RamLeela on stage and it was hilarious. I still get feedback for that performance. We had a blast in the year when Filmfare was held in #Assam. The crowd there was electrifying.”

Ranveer also shared how his personal favourite Filmfare Award night is the one #ShahRukhKhan and #SaifAliKhan hosted the eventful night. This year, his “partner-in-crime” and “#dearestbaba”, #ArjunKapoor, will be hosting the #67thWolf777news Filmfare Awards 2022 together with him and they are ready to roll.

“There is some magic around the Filmfare Awards, which is inexplicable, which is why I am ever so excited to be hosting this time. It’s an honour to be a part of the celebration of excellence in #Hindicinema in this grand manner. As a child, I would read Filmfare magazine from cover to cover, especially the award and anniversary/special editions, several times. I used to also take cut-outs from the #magazines and save them,” Ranveer added.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day,  Amazon Prime Video announced it’s upcoming series Hush Hush (working title), led by an all-women cast and crew. Amazon Original Hush Hush (working title) not only tells a story with strong female protagonists, but it is also helmed by some of the finest female talent behind the camera. Tanuja Chandra (Qarib Qarib Singlle, Dushman, Sangharsh) will serve as the Creative Director & Executive Producer and  Shikhaa Sharma (Shakuntala Devi, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, Sherni) will double-hat as Executive Producer and original story writer. Kopal Nathani, one of the most promising names in the advertising films industry directs episodes in the show. National Award-winning writer Juhi Chaturvedi (Gulabo Sitabo and Piku), has been roped in to pen the dialogues for the series written by Ashish Mehta. The series will be produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment (Breathe, Breathe: Into the Shadows, Shakuntala Devi, Airlift).

Hush Hush (working title) marks the digital debut of award-winning Indian movie star Juhi Chawla as well as that of Ayesha Jhulka with leading ladies Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami and Kritika Kamra playing pivotal roles in this exciting thriller-drama. With a unique female gaze at its core, Hush Hush propels forward the movement of women telling their own stories. Hush Hush features an almost all-female crew, right from the Production Designer, Costume Designer, Surpervising Producer, Co-producers, to Art, Costume, Production Coordination to even the Security Team!
