You’ve spent over two decades shaping public narratives. What has been the most defining moment of your career so far?

I’ve always focused on upgrading my skills, and many moments have contributed to my journey. But the most defining moment was when Anuj Saxena entrusted me with his personal PR work — that’s when my career in public relations truly began. Another major milestone was working with producer Rajan Shahi on Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai, followed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Then came iconic shows like Mahadev, Mahabharat, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!, and Anupamaa. Each project has been a meaningful chapter in my professional evolution. Handling two films Aloo Chaat (Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff) and Chase (Anuj Saxena and Udita Goswami) and handling Red Chillies TV Shows Ghar Ki Baat Hai (Juhi Babbar’s TV debut) and Simi garewal’s India’s Most Desirable was a big high professionally.

What have the last two decades taught you about the power of perception?
Perception is fluid — it changes with the scale and success of the projects you associate with. In the media industry, your value is directly tied to the quality and impact of your work. PR isn’t just about visibility; it’s about clear communication, genuine intent, and authentic energy. When these align, perception works powerfully in your favour.

What are your thoughts on competition in the PR industry?

There’s enough work for everyone. I don’t waste time dwelling on who left us or who got lured by discounts from small PR’s. What matters is quality and how we represent our clients. Take Yash Raj Films or Dharma Productions — they don’t worry about smaller players; they focus on excellence. Some agencies constantly message our clients. If someone leaves us for a cheaper alternative, that says more about them than about us. We know our worth — we’ve transformed newcomers into recognized names. Mediocre PR attracts mediocre clients. Those who leave simply aren’t aligned with our values. You need to deserve what we offer; it’s not for everyone. Some actors express interest but never take the leap. Maybe they’re not the right fit. At the end of the day, relationships and integrity matter. This isn’t just philosophy — it’s karma. You can’t mistreat those who supported you and expect your journey to be smooth. People who leave often come back or admit they miss us. There’s a certain magnetism to our energy — even our hand-beaten coffee is legendary! Actors say they feel refreshed just spending time with us. It’s the vibe we bring. Small PR’s keep on telling us we are old school PR and we are this or that and I laugh it off each time I hear such stuff. If that was the case why we have more loyal clients than anyone else, why and how we have so much goodwill in the industry?

Who have been some of your best client experiences?

I’ve had the pleasure of working with wonderful professionals like Eijaz Khan, Somy Ali, Sumbul Touqeer, Arjun Bijlani, Arjan Bajwa, Delnaaz Irani, Rukhsar, Nivedita Basu, Munisha Khatwani, Himanshu Malhotra, Shubhangi Atre, Rajesh Kumar, Rajniesh Duggal, Aniruddh Dave, Rajan Shahi, Binaiferr Kohli, Prateek Sharma, Parth Shah, Sunjoy Waddhwa, Rahul Kumar Tewary, Ravi Dubey, Sargun Mehta, Hrishikesh Pandey. Rinhee Suberwal, and Pooja Seth. Each has been respectful, collaborative, and a joy to work with. We also represent non-actor clients — astrologers, healers, restaurants, and spas, including healer clients. Helping lesser-known names grow into recognized brands is deeply rewarding. Watching their transformation is one of the most fulfilling parts of our work and also standing by our talents through thick and thin..

Have there been bad experiences too?

Of course — it’s part of the journey. One top star once defaulted on payments and even begged for borrowing money — he’s now struggling. Some have toxic relationships with money and manipulate situations for their convenience. We’ve seen actors controlled by their family members to the point that their careers suffer. One actor claimed he needed PR help to pay alimony but later ghosted us — ironically, he was having an affair with one of our clients. We’ve supported many through crises, only to be bad-mouthed when they regained success or lost glory. One Bollywood actor pretended not to know us after making it big. Another, now dating a superstar’s ex-wife, refused to clear dues despite flaunting luxury. I’ve cut such people out of my space — cordial but distant. Karma will handle the rest. If we were the roots in someone’s career and they abandoned us when the fruits appeared which meant disconnection from their foundation. Fame without values is an illusion. Even with life’s harsh lessons — especially in 2025 — many still don’t understand. Nothing goes with you when you die. Don’t cheat or mistreat genuine professionals. Just because someone is kind doesn’t mean you can take them for granted. The universe is always watching. Karma doesn’t wait for another life — it’s active now. There are few actors who lack basic courtesies and there are few actors who attempt to throw all their life frustrations on us. We handle as politely as possible but if things go out of hand we do take stand. One thing amazes us is some actors are so kaan ka kaccha that despite knowing us and working with us blindly believe anyone and anything and I wonder about basic principles of life, relationships and professionalism they haven’t learnt and how bleak their future will be with time due to lack of reality check.

How do you deal with disloyalty or the loss of clients?

If someone we’ve nurtured leaves us for a “Tom, Dick, or Harry” agency, it’s their loss. We’re more than publicists — we’re motivators, crisis managers, and personality builders. Our approach has soul and can’t be copied. Some former clients bad-mouth us while pretending to be friends. That’s okay — we move on. I’m naturally friendly but keep professional boundaries. We focus on those who truly value our work.

Are there any clients you’re especially grateful to?

Yes — Jasmin Bhasin deserves special mention. Even during Bigg Boss, she ensured her PR payments were handled on time and used to always transfer timely. That speaks volumes about her integrity. Somy Ali has always paid in advance without delay and she has a common sense which is not common and she is a humane human being. These women exemplify professionalism and strong character. I’m also grateful to Charul Malik, who introduced us to Binaiferr Kohli and Somy. Genuine gestures like that remain unforgettable. I deeply value relationships. Charul always recommended us generously. Arjun Bijlani is real and chilled out too. Rajesh Kumar and Delnaaz Irani pamper my team too.

Any ex-clients or actors you’d like to patch up with?

There’s no malice on my side. I’m here to do good work — not collect friends. If someone misunderstood me or spoke behind my back, that’s their story. I’ve always been professional. Some called me “arrogant”, but those who trusted me never regretted it. A few actresses left and are still struggling to find their place. Their new teams offered no real guidance; their growth stalled. I don’t chase anyone. If people imagine things about me, that’s their story. I live in the present and let go of the past. “Raat gayi, baat gayi” is a principle I follow, both personally and professionally. People who lost us or parted ways it’s their choice and there is no big deal as plenty of actors have never learnt what loyalty is and change PR’s like shirts.
Life is all about personal and professional relationships dealt with the right attitude. Actors with mediocre minds or herd mentality never stay with us.

What’s your take on client defaults?

To past clients: please clear your dues. Don’t take professionals for granted. What you put out returns to you — that’s energy’s law. We help many in need, but repeated excuses reflect your character, not ours. PR is an investment, not an expense. If you can’t afford it, don’t commit. Integrity matters. If a security guard or an Ola driver can operate with ethics, why not celebrities? We’ve had actors whose spouses questioned our work while they lacked courage to defend us. It’s sad when those who once needed us turn opportunistic. We believe if even a rupee is owed, food doesn’t taste right until it’s repaid. That’s my value system. One defaulter referred to an actress, and based on his word, we worked with her on credit. She too didn’t pay despite opportunities. I wonder how such people sleep peacefully. If you act without ethics, you don’t belong — even near those who live with integrity. Money is energy. If you can’t give it with love, at least give it with respect. Be fair in dealing with money, be it with anyone. My reaction is that any actor can change PR. It’s their choice but maintain professional courtesy and the right attitude. Another actor who owed us money was in a troubled marriage. I didn’t know him well and had worked in credit as he narrated his sob story. I was at an event and he came drunk below the venue and requested to meet me. He was in a bad mental state and I pacified him later. The same actor never paid up and I came to know that the actor has borrowed money from a couple of actors. That actor is in a bad professional state and pretending to be in a happy marriage. There are plenty of actors who didn’t rise up the ladder inspite of potential because of bad professional attitude and conduct. One top bollywood actor recommended a struggling colleague to us and we decided to help this bollywood actor by hearing his sob story and a few months later he vanished and showed no intention of paying up and now is struggling. Actors who defaulted have ended up being failures professionally and believe me when I say they are still around and struggling and still not getting that what they did was wrong. There was an actress whom we got a film via our reference and she was thankful and quietly went to lesser known PR and kept pretending she has no PR. If you change the PR it’s perfectly fine as it is your choice but atleast communicate when you have had a good relationship with us. That actress whom we could have recommended for another film is sitting jobless at home as she thought of short term gain only. When a client leaves us we are the last one to react. I am a work oriented person and it reflects. I believe people who leave us, it is their loss as we are the best.

How do you view your team?

My team — Srabanti Chakrabarti, Mansi Dama, Yashika Shah, Shrinkhla, Triparna Mahesh, Anjuri Nair, and Aditi Chandra — mirrors my values. We work with mutual respect and move as a cohesive unit. They are my backbone—each brings sincerity, talent, and dedication. I’m proud of our bond. Together, we don’t just manage clients; we shape narratives and uplift energies. That’s our collective magic. One need to deserve such a loving and positive team. Every actor can’t become part of our professional life. Somewhere you need to deserve us and need to trust us absolutely. Actors who have trusted us, our hard work, intelligence and vision have got fantastic results via us. To all our existing clients I want to tell you to please value us and trust our hard work, presence of mind, intelligence, maturity and professionalism and you will never be disappointed. From a small town in Jaipur, an almost friendless childhood, challenging adolescence years and a search for his true self, #PrashantGolecha has seen it all in his incredible journey to become the PR consultant that he is today. In a candid chat, he talks about this journey, how his family means the world to him and his ambitions.

Tell about your journey from Jaipur to Mumbai.

The journey has not been an easy one. After a rather challenging childhood at school, directionless, I enrolled in an MBA course which I did just because I had to do something. I took up an MBA project for a cellular company OASIS and they offered me a job based on my sincerity. By then, I was dreaming of a career in advertising and had made a sample of ads that used to reflect my flair for copywriting. I worked in Oasis for three years and every year, I kept coming to Mumbai to look for a job. I met the biggest of ad agencies from IB & W to Lintas, Contract Advertising, Percept and Ogilvy & Mather. Everyone liked my sample work but no one wanted to take me on board, even as an intern. I was disillusioned and in my third year, I quit my Jaipur job and came to Mumbai. But nothing worked for me in advertising and I got even more confused and frustrated. At that time, I lived in Bandra, near Mehboob Studio, in a PG. I loved the sense of independence. Those years, I used to sit at Bandstand and dream! Although I was in the midst of so many challenges, they were the best years of my life. I got a job through a cousin where I succeeded. But things took a downfall and I was fired overnight. I was back to square one and even thought of shifting back to Jaipur. I sat at home in Mumbai for four months with nothing to do and used to wander aimlessly all by myself with only one friend, Samir Solanki for company, who did help me a bit in learning the ways of the world though I never paid much heed to anything.

How did you get into PR?

I used to apply for a job wherever I could. I, finally, got a job as a marketing guy in a restaurant called Blue Cilantro where Sanjeev Kapoor was a consulting chef. We had a PR agency looking after the PR of the place and somehow that responsibility was dumped on me. But I worked with sincerity. I got the chance to meet actor Anuj Saxena, who was then a superstar of TV, with super successful shows like KKusum. I did the PR for a party and he offered me his personal PR. I took it up. In the meantime, I got married. The restaurant shut down soon after and I was jobless right after marriage, with just Anuj Saxena’s PR in hand. I started doing freelance journalism as I had a lot of free time.

Anuj started a production house called Maverick, the name was suggested by me. With that, I, too, got some stability and then I joined another restaurant on Churni Road. I would travel by train daily and work long hours and that used to take a toll on my health. Then, one of the journalists, who I used to interact with, asked me if I had a computer and internet at home. She told me that I should spread the word and take more work in PR and the idea encouraged me. I started focusing on PR and slowly-slowly clients started coming by word of mouth. I never approached anyone for PR. I always thought that since I was an MBA in marketing, why would an actor entertain my pitch for his PR when he or she doesn’t even know me? I worked on my skill set. It took me 15 years to get stability.

Who supported you the most in your career journey?

My parents (Prakash and Kanan Golecha), my sisters Sapna and Rachna, my wife Reetu and my kids Aashay and Ishaan. For the first time, I felt love when my son Aashay was born. I kept his name and felt that I had finally found my best friend. My second child Ishaan came and added more to my world. All my life, I realised I wanted to love unconditionally and the kids made me feel complete. I used to tell both of them that I love them as much as the water in the sea in Mumbai. My wife and kids are my best friends and I didn’t need any other company after they came along. I used to feel complete in myself. I was obsessed with my work to the extent that I didn’t give enough time to my family and they never complained. I always believed in thinking big, dreaming big and doing big. I never ran after money as I always believed that good work is followed by money. Workoholism is a necessity to become successful. Tuffy my pet is my companion and post office hours he sits around while I work endlessly.

What is your take on human relationships?

My viewpoint on relationships and life changed completely with time. I am a complete human being and that is what matters. I am far more compassionate than before and feel life is too short to keep any grudges especially against people who matter. When your heart is as clean as filtered water and when your love and affection is unconditional nothing else matters. You can’t force love, friendship and loyalty. If people don’t reciprocate and value you, you will still love them as it is your nature. Pain is like bitter chocolate and I take it in my stride. I don’t have any grudges against anyone, myself or even life. I feel I am quite fortunate to experience everything and it has enhanced my individuality. I am blessed and believe in the long run nothing wrong can happen to me. Zindagi Bahut Khoobsoorat Hai Jeene Ka Salika Aana Chhaiye”. People who misunderstood my perspectives one day will understand me and value me. I follow my heart.

What has been your take on industry friends?

Friendship is an illusion. There are a lot of actors who are attached to me because of my nature, affection, emotional maturity, intelligence and my professional expertise or so-called success. I am close to a few actors. But I feel no need of spending time with the outside world, I would rather spend time with myself and my family first.

What has been your professional clan?

Simi Grewal, Anuj Saxena were the most memorable ones. One of the most professional actors we are working with is Somy Ali as the connection is on a mature and intellectual level. Few other professional and loyal actors we have worked with include Himansh Kohli, Jasmin Bhasin, Vijyendra Kumeria, Sharad Malhotra and Meera Deosthale. The remarkable production house we have been working with since more than 15 years includes producer Rajan Shahi whose involvement in his work is commendable. He is a man of substance and words with terrific understanding of what he wants and respects professionals. Actress Anu Aggarwal is a very intelligent woman who has depth in her personality and is good with words.

We have permanent well-wishers in Charrul Malik, Ridheema Tiwari, Rishina Kandhari, Rajshri Rani, Delnaaz Irani, Himanshu Malhotra, Mrunal Jain, Vahbiz Dorabajee, Ajay Chaudhary and Aniruddh Dave. Sanjay and Binaiferr Kohli (Edit II) are a professional duo Binaiferr is a very sweet person with an amazing sense of humour.

Producer Yash and Mamta Patnaik are also visionaries. We have worked with Siddharth Kumar Tewary on Mahabharat and Nikhil and Suhana Sinha on Mahadev and Sudhir and Seema Sharma (Sunshine Productions) on Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha both seasons. They are hard-core professionals and value good work. Producer Prateek Sharma is also a very creative individual and a man of his words.

I had handled Red Chillies TV section and their two shows Ghar Ki Baat Hai which was Juhi Babbar’s TV debut and Knight and Angels. I have also handled two films Aloo Chaat (Aftaf Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff) and film Chase (Anuj Saxena and Udita Goswami). I had a good working association with film stars Arjan Bajwa and Udita Goswami too. We also managed singer Babul Supriyo for many years and he is a gem of a person. Anuj Saxena is one actor who will forever be in my life and thoughts as it was with him, I entered into the industry. He was a man of intelligence, professionalism, class and affection all rolled into one.

The prominent people who are part of my current professional life currently are Somy Ali, Anu Aggarwal, Bhumika Chawla, Shivin Narang, Vivian Dsena, Arjun Bijlani, Aly Goni, Rajniesh Duggal, Avika Gor, Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta.

How has been your experience in dealing with actors and money?

Money is energy and the actor is paying for the service and, in service, everything is not tangible or quantified. It’s not always about quantity of articles but also the quality and nature of the article matters. Actors forget that you supported them when they needed it the most and then they delay the payments and tell their soft stories and financial problems. It amazes me that the same actors haggle with production houses for their own money. I want to tell all actors and everyone who takes any professional services that what goes around comes around. What you do to others will be done to you. If you make fake excuses and avoid paying up, it will happen to you as well in this lifetime only.

You have also handled Dangal TV’s PR. How did you get it and what has been the response?

We handle production house Beyond Dreams’s PR and for them we did their show Control Room’s press event. The channel was highly impressed and we got on board. Through us media started visited sets of their shows regularly and me and my team worked hard and print online and video coverages happened to the extent that our work was noticed by media and other channels as well. We worked day in day out to bring the channel’s shows in limelight. The faces of the channel Pavitra Punia, Haarsh Limbachiyaa- Bharti Singh, Shehzad Sheikh, Asmita Sood, Eva Grover Aditya Redij all have appreciated our work.

What are the cons of the industry?

Actors lying and even delaying payment is common. Some actors constantly crib about money problems, but their lifestyle doesn’t change and they go on talking about their bad financial condition. Even the best of the top successful actors sometimes behave very unprofessionally and are just not fair in their financial dealings. But keeping patience is one of the mandates and you need to extend it regularly. My team and I work with absolute human attention and affection. Loyalty is a way of life but not for everyone. Spending on PR is an investment in your career and not an expenditure. Just think it this way, you claim to love your career and keep saying your career is everything to you, then why take a break from PR. Lack of professionalism is common but then no one can take you for a ride after a point. The Law of Karma exists everywhere.
Just by hiring the best PR you won’t become an overnight star. There are actors who after starting PR demand everything to happen in a week without understanding their own profile.

What do you have to say about the competition in your field?

Competition exists in every field. Healthy competition is still fine but people who have no expertise are becoming PR’s and the irony is even the literate actors are falling in the trap just because someone is charging less! There are few actors who even change PR-like shirts. There are so-called rivals who keep messaging even our loyal actors. Some will never go because they understand a relationship with PR is very personal and a lot of hard work goes into making a profile. We have no competition as we are good with ideation and we as a team give personalized attention and guidance.

Every tom, dick and harry thinks he or she can become a successful PR is a myth. People do succeed in fooling actors sometimes as in the entertainment industry people think of short-term gains only. Ideally, good relationships count and only that works in your favour in the long run. Clients who leave us, it’s their loss, not ours because hamare Jaisa PR koi Nahi hai and we are confident and secure in our space.

What is your take on the social media obsession of actors?

I openly tell actors you are here to act not to become an influencer. Social media is for us, we are not for social media. Just having x number of followers doesn’t contribute to the craft of acting. If you have the talent, you will eventually get work and success.

What do you have to say about the trend of airport spotting?

This spotting obsession is increasing with herd mentality. It doesn’t add value to your profile unless the profile is genuinely big or you are already popular. People are jumping to paid spotting. Stars spotting like say Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sushmita Sen or Shahrukh Khan still matter as their A-list stars, and people want to know about them.

What are your future plans?

The new me is in the making. A bit of socialising, like a cup of coffee with my clients is all that is enough for me and happens by default. I don’t look for a company beyond that point, outside of the realm of my family.

In a city like Mumbai, bonding happens with people you work with daily. I am very attached to my talented staff as they spend more time with me than anyone else. I like to see my staff happy and smiling always. Besides them my family and my pet Tuffy count and nothing else matters. Just seeing the smiles on the faces of my children Aashay and Ishaan melts my heart and I feel fresh energy.

I am focused and know what I want in life. I have clarity of thought and I can foresee my own future. My intuition/ gut feeling says that my mental and emotional magnetism is going to attract the right opportunities and my patience and tolerance will lead to ultimate transformation. My work is going to take me places in 2023. I haven’t achieved even 2 percent of my potential and a brand-new journey has already started. I am going to get more than I can ever imagine. Our, as well as our client’s present and future, is outstanding. I am ambitious and I intend to surprise people soon.

Talking about the importance and coincidence of alphabets S, R A and I factor in his life, he says, ‘The alphabet R and S factor came into my career and made me learn the basics professionally by maintaining cent percent ethics, objectivity and patience. It’s just that one thing led to another. I am competent enough to handle Bollywood actors too and we are in the process of taking more Bollywood actors on board. The S factor in my career portfolio consisted of Somy Ali, Shahrukh Khan (we handled his TV stuff’s PR (TV show Ghar Ki Baat Hai and Knight and angels till it lasted), Simi Garewal, Sharad Malhotra, Shivin Narang, Shashank Vyas and Srabanti Chakrabarti. My school was SPS. I belong to Rajasthan. The R factor is Rajan Shahi. The restaurant, where I was heading marketing, its owner’s name was Rajesh Chaudhary and I am grateful to him too for giving me a break in marketing in Blue Cilantro restaurant from where eventually I took over PR. My wife’s name is Reetu too. The A factor is Anuj Saxena, Aashay (my Son), and Aditi Chandra, my staffer. The I factor is myself, my intelligence, and my son Ishaan. Actors – Actors lying and even delaying payment is common. Some actors constantly crib about money problems, but their lifestyle doesn’t change and they go on talking about their bad financial condition. Even the best of the top successful actors sometimes behave very unprofessionally and are just not fair in their financial dealings. But keeping patience is one of the mandates and you need to extend it regularly. There have been few unprofessional clients who walked away uninformed and we don’t look back. It’s their loss, not ours because we are the best in business. It’s like Jaha Jaayenge hame paayenge. My team and I work with absolute human attention and affection. Loyalty is a way of life but not for everyone. There are actors who just go on bitching about us to anyone and everyone for years. When we come to know of it we remember the line “Baat ussi ki hoti hai jismein kuch khaas baat hoti hai”. Those who believe them it’s their problem and not ours. Universe watches everything, what you do to others will be done to you, life is too short for grudges, so I have stopped imagining and assuming who said what. Don’t you know how rumours float and have you forgotten the Chinese whisper game? Without understanding the context stop jumping to stupid conclusions. Reality check is a must. Spending on PR is an investment in your career and not an expenditure. Just think it this way, you claim to love your career and keep saying your career is everything to you, then why take a break from PR. Having a PR means a team working on your career in every respect and aspect. Keep a budget for PR if you genuinely love your career. You have only one career and you have to make the most of it.

Personal PR is one such field where a team nurtures the person and his and her career with a lot of love and hard work and PR is not just about publicity only as everyone assumes. If you are positive professionally you will attract the right people who are serious about their careers. There are enough gullible actors (these actors are like those ladies who instead of buying the best quality vegetable go for rotten vegetables just because that is available at a discounted price). One more thing just by hiring the best PR you won’t become an overnight star. There are actors who after starting PR demand everything to happen in a week without understanding their own profile. Shahrukh Khan didn’t become SRK in one day, week or even months, it took him years to become what he became. TRUST your PR team and take at least three month of PR service to get best results. Patience is a must.

PR choose karne ka simple suggestion I have for all actors who meet 10 PR’s as if they are out to buy a washing machine. PR to woh ho jisses milne ka ji chahe, baat karne ka ji chhahe, dekthe hi lage that’s my friend. PR woh hota hai jiske saath aap sensibly baat kar sako, a cup of coffee pee sako apna heart and mind share kar sako. PR is not a shirt that you change every three months. PR is like your favourite jacket. Please choose your PR carefully. Trust your PR. Surrender to your PR team and see the magic happen.

Weeds newbie PR’s – Every tom, dick and harry thinks he or she can become a successful PR is a myth. People do succeed in fooling actors sometimes as in the entertainment industry people think of short-term gains only. Ideally, good relationships count and only that works in your favour in the long run. Those who aspire to become PR please at least take four years of experience before jumping into starting your own stuff without proper knowledge and expertise. There are a lot of weeds in every industry and my biggest inspiration has always told me to just Ignore. I do remember reading somewhere when a dog barks at you you don’t bark back, you just ignore and focus on your own path. There are loads of weeds who don’t know P of PR but jumped into it with fake over-confidence. Competition doesn’t bother us as we are busy focusing on our work. The least one can do is follow professional ethics is all I want to say. There is enough space for everyone. Everyone can do their own thing.

Journalists – Some journalists are good actors too. They lie and even support those weeds but portray a different picture in front of us. We have learned to ignore them and keep kaam see kaam. What sets us apart is years of experience, straightforwardness, working at the human level, and a good team that is more concerned about clients’ image and articles. I request all journalists who know us to be careful in their conduct and professionalism and don’t be a party to weeds just because there is a desperate need sometimes to meet the target of the number of your articles. How to filter and where to draw the line professionally needs to be taken care of. Never take us or anyone for granted. We mind our own business and that is our USP too. . Recently one of the editors whom I know for many years but didn’t connect directly but started interacting professionally now told me you and your team knows how to filter the actors depending upon the profile, you are in a position to give me stuff on everyone but you choose to screen and give selectively based on merit and that sets you class apart. No Journalist should have the audacity to misbehave with us just because we are accessible. There is a way of saying No professionally if you don’t want to use any specific stuff. You value us just the way we value you, it’s a two-way street. You have to value and respect us as professionals, there is just no alternative.

Philosophy of my life – I don’t believe in friendship. I don’t have friends. Friendship means limitless emotional intimacy and mind matching. Sometimes sensitivity, intelligence and sensibilities don’t match. I am an all heart person. I am an open book but it all depends upon me as to how many pages I want you to read. I am a loner. I love good books, good music, and good food. My professional strength is my permanent team Srabanti and Aditi who are very passionate about their work and Sharmila and newly joined Shweta and Yasmeen are sincere too. I am blessed and attract only the right people towards me. I love B.K. Shivani discourses, Dr. Gulrukh Bala’s guided meditations and Harpreet Kaur Kandhari guided meditations. I love Shahrukh Khan and Rajesh Khanna. I couldn’t meet Rajesh Khanna but still I have admired his intelligence, acting and privileged sense. My all-time favourite films are Maine Pyar Kiya, Baaghi, Rajesh Khanna’s Khamoshi and Safar, Lamhe, Swades, Veer Zaara, Laga Chunari Mein Daag, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. I live in the present. It’s nice to be important but it is more important to be nice. I am just not overly expressive in my love and affection but am too poetic. I have experienced and survived a variety of pains and betrayal and I am not bitter, rather I am a better person. I love solitude and I never feel lonely. I feel I am complete in my own self’s company. Even people who matter the most don’t know the real me. People look only at the surface level and people can’t only see what they see with their eyes, people just can’t see or feel what is not verbalized. I mind my own business. My goals are clear. I am loved and blessed and I live life on my own terms. I am intelligent and sensitive and I believe everything is a choice. ‘Zindagi bahut khoobsurat hai jeene ka salika aana chhaiye.’
