“First thing that came into my mind when I heard the title is that it is beautiful, spiritual and connected to the almighty. I also loved the concept of the show,” says Manuj, who is happy with his character and shares that he is enjoying playing the part.

“I was super excited and my eagerness increased day by day as we started shooting. I am learning something new every time and that’s again a fulfilling experience,” he adds.

Urdu is a very beautiful language. Agreeing that the language is classy and rich, the actor says, “Urdu is a very different, rich and sweet language and for me it’s never been difficult as I always enjoy speaking and listening to it. For actor’s practicing Urdu is good for diction as it clears your alfaaz and lehza.”

Manuj has good things to say about Prateek and his Studio LSD. “I am glad to be working with LSD, and Prateek Sharma. It’s a beautiful team, lovely people, amazing star cast, all are very supportive,” he says.

The actor is inspired by Amitabh Bachchan. “I am always a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan sir. He is someone I look up to and respect,” he adds. The TV industry has evolved over the years. There have been many changes that the actor too has noticed.

“Every industry evolves in four to five years, the same has happened for TV. Now the competition is too high, so many creative people are there who are bringing many new ideas to the table, new creative minds putting everything in every single shot, I am enjoying working in TV now,” he says.

Daily soap means a lot of hard work and patience. Agreeing, Manuj adds that actors need to hold themselves tight and keep on working to achieve success.

So do you think alternate careers are important as there’s a lot of competition in showbiz these days? “Yes very much important as one should never depend on a single income. Covid has taught us a lot. We must all be prepared for rainy days,” he signs off.

#Actress #SheelaSharma, who wil be playing the role of #dadi in #PrateekSharma’s #newshow, #RabbSeHaiDua, says that she loves the part. The #actress hopes that the #audience will enjoy her #performance as well.

“I play the role of dadi in the show and I feel I am in my comfort zone. I am not that typical dadi, she is very sweet and nice and at the same time she likes to talk straight and to the point. She cares for the family and is the head of the family, everyone listens to her. I am so happy with the role and I hope I can do justice to it,” she says.

The actress adds that she was thrilled when she got the part. “I was very happy and elated when I was offered this role. The makers felt confident about me and knew that I would be able to play this role well. That makes me feel motivated to do better,” she says.

The show has a Muslim background, and the language can be challenging at times, admits Sheela. “Urdu is not very difficult, it’s like Hindi which we speak in our household except there are certain words that require to be pronounced carefully. I have an inclination towards Shero Shayari right from the beginning and I try to grasp the Urdu words in case I don’t know. I ask my husband also as he has good command over the language. Overall, I find it very exciting as it’s more like a challenge to myself,” she says.

“When I heard the title, the first thing that came to my mind is that any dua or blessing is connected to rabb that is God. So, the girl around whom this story is based is a blessing of God, that is she belongs to that supreme power. Secondly, I think whoever we pray to, we always feel the almighty’s blessing. The title resonates that feeling as well,” she says.
Saarvie’s Kaynaat is a very studious girl and can’t say ‘no’ to anyone. “She is a dusky and therefore facing several issues, especially when it comes to her marriage. All these have made her a little under confident and she isn’t able to connect much with the outside world. She spends most of her time studying and with her family. She is very close to her brother, sister-in-law and other family members. I relate to Kaynaat because even I can’t say no to anyone who needs help. Also, I am a typical family girl,” she adds.

Urdu is a very beautiful language. Agreeing that the language is classy and rich, the actor says, “I love the lehza in which they talk. It is difficult to get that exact lehza in your normal life but it was a little easy for me because I loved reading shayaris since I was a child. And, for a long time I’ve been watching Pakistani dramas. But still I had to work on my diction, expression and get the right pronunciation.”

Saarvie praises the production team, especially Prateek for his kindness and support.“I have never seen such a sweet person who greets you with so much respect and with a big smile on his face. He has a very positive aura around him. Working with Studio LSD is love, each and everyone one here is sweet, it feels like a family. They are very professional, patient and cool headed,” shares the actor, who has also done projects such as Prem Bandhan and Dharm Yoddha Garud.

The actor is very fond of Pankaj Tripathi sir. “I find his acting very natural. I personally believe in natural acting and can’t be overdramatic on screen. I like the calmness and pauses he takes in between the dialogues. He is amazing,” she explains.

The TV industry has evolved a lot over the years. “I think people are now welcoming leads having dusky complexions and are coming up with such topics that suit them. Secondly, makers are also making different stories which are based on elderly couples. Writers are doing very well must be celebrated,” she says.

Daily soap means a lot of hardwork and patience. “Yes, you have to be on your toes all the time, being patient is the key. As an actor we live two different lives, both reel and real. So to maintain that character and yourself at the same time or to switch from one to another, one should remain patient and focused,” adds Saarvie.

Ask if she thinks having an alternate career option is important these days as there’s a lot of competition in showbiz and Saarvie answers in positive.

“For sure you should always have a back-up plan so that you can earn your bread and butter. But acting requires a lot of time because there is so much to learn. For me I’m my own competition. The day you start performing better than yourself that day you will have what you want. So, I think you should keep a back-up plan but also give your best here till the time you want to switch. Till then try harder to get what you desire,” she ends.

“The title itself is special. It’s a very comforting feeling that God is there to take care of us. I play the role of Rahat. He has two wives and four children. In this aspect, I don’t relate much. But, as a person, he is a joyous and lively character that I can relate to a lot. Also, I play a shayar in the show. This is special to me because my dad loved shayari and this part of my role is like a tribute to him.” he says, adding, “I was happy to be able to bag this part. Handling two wives, even on screen, will be quite a handful!”

The show has a Muslim backdrop. Talking about the dialogues, Sandeep says, “Thankfully my Hindi is ‘spasth’ you see, so a bit of nukta here or there and urdu emerges beautifully!”

Meanwhile, the actor says that while the TV industry has not changed too much, a great show still holds a lot of value. “I don’t see any major changes really, just that the sets have gone far away! OTT has taken a lot of TV audiences but a good show always has the power to get the audience back! From the TV industry, I love the work of Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey. Giving such powerful performances, over and over is inspiring!” he says, adding, “TV shows require lots of hard work, but it’s a steady profession the fruits of which bear when people love your show and your work. That high compensates for the grind.”

Meanwhile, Sandeep says that he loves working with Prateek Sharma and Studio LSD. “It’s my first show with them and I can already feel the warmth,” he says.
